we receive SEVERAL calls every day--the caller ID says NOT PROVIDED. I hope to find out which organizations hire this 'sharegroup' and will NEVER donate money to them!!

Share Group, 617-629-4500 aka 800-956-0076, claims to be a "progressive" org. Secretary said they fundraise for the ACLU. In my opinion, they are ripping off the ACLU, pocketing the money, and actively trying to make people hate the ACLU on the side under the guise of some computer problem. I do not believe it is an accident what is happening with their computer, nor will I blame the ACLU. The ACLU needs to hear about what Share Group is doing to their reputation.

AFter about 25 calls, I picked up, they asked for my room-mate, I asked if I could take a message, they hung up.

I have gotten numerous calls from phone numbers that have been linked to "The Share Group" by people at whocalled.us. So far the numbers I have accumulated are: 800-429-0899, 866-499-2755, 800-960-9976, 800-956-0076, 866-499-2758.
Why can't we have privacy on the phone. Why do these telemarketing people have to bother us at dinner time and early evening. Its time to put a stop to them.
These people have called me REPEATEDLY but they never leave a message. They just called again for the second time today, so I blasted them with various messages from sorrygottago.com Now let's see what they do.

I called them and got their message and Googled them. sharegroup.com is their Web site.
No message and have called with extensions 2758 and 2754
Nada.
no message. Called the number, recorded message said "we called you recently at the request of a non-profit political group" "Share Works" I think they are called.
They work for non-profit groups and solicit $. They are exempt from the do not call registry but if you threaten to stop donating to their client they will stop calling you.
These criminals use several similar numbers (877-499-2758, 2753, 2759) to illegally harrass people on the no-call list.

They are the Share Group.
This is a grassroots advocacy/lobbying firm that calls constituents and patches them directly into a House/Senate office to advance an agenda for a group that pays them through a contract.
This number calls us at least FIVE times a day, starting in the early morning hours, right through until 10 PM. They don't leave a message either, after listening to the answering machine. We are on the NO CALL list too!
who owns this domain? who set up this website? how do you know if you put your phone number in in the last field that it's not being abused. i can find no information about who manages this website. does anyone know?
