How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

robot asking for James Connigan. Pressed 3 to tell them I am not. They keep calling.
debt collector. the usual guff. Always looking for someone not here, don't know, but same last name.
A clue about their tactics: first they will try to make you angry. if you get angry, they have you. second they try to intimidate you.
What drives them crazy? make no response to their questions, just laugh at them. really pushes their button.
This number repeatedly called (5 times in a row). Once the HR dept got off the phone line, Neal Green was on the phone & left a message with our HR staff saying that he had a file & required a call back.
Received a call on answering machine. Said to call back but message was very garbled. No clue as to what they wanted. Said they wanted to talked to me on "voluntary basis before rendering a verdict on my case"????? Trying to make themselves sound like lawyers as a scare tactic.
I have called there number back numerous times and can't get a straight answer out of anyone that answers. Jerks!!!

They are being sued in Federal Court for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Act by nine diferent people, that's nine seperate lawsuits (see justia.com).
Don't worry. CTI will be held accountable and suffer the consequences for their behavior.
Ivan called at extension 2619 and said it would be very good for me to call him back. We've received several calls from this organization but i haven't returned any.
Received this call from a woman with a very low sounding voice, could hardly hear what the hell she was talking about: ""Hi please return the call at 866-471-7100, my name is Ann the extension is 2642, when calling please refer to referral number ? (couldn't make it out), thank you.

Received this call from a man with a funny sounding Northern U.S. accent (possibly Chicago): HELLO! This message is regarding reference number 27760433. Contact Bob Jasper at this toll free number 1-866-471-7100 this is extension 2641. He will be at his office Today May 11 between the hours of 12:00 noon and 5:00pm (? couldn't make it out). This message is regarding reference number 27760433. Contact Bob Jasper. Thank you. I called back and a man with the same voice answered TCI!. What kind of cockamamie message is this and who the hell is TCI? Googled for TCI but their are hundreds of them out there. Googled for 866-471-7100 and it comes out either TCI, CPI, and some kind of baseball website.
