How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

I was getting ALOT of calls from an auto insurance phone number. I finally told them I wasn't interested and to leave me alone. When they called back 2 hrs later, I let them have it. Haven't heard from that number in a few weeks, so maybe there going this route to annoy me. It's working!
Same shit - different day. I'm getting these calls, same as everyone else. If anyone is on Verizon, and a cell number, you can block this (these) number(s) by going into the Verizon web site and going to "Spam Controls". You can block up to 5 (five) numbers at no charge. Hope this helps. The blocking feature lasts for approximately 90 days!

Call went to new cellphone number.
I called this number back and basically it is a company that follows up on inquiries about auto insurance quotes. So, if you got a quote online even a year ago, they might be calling you to see if you are still interested. I received a call yesterday with no message and she told me today that my number was no longer in their system so I shouldn't receive any more calls. Yeah right!

Creeps call and don't leave message
these people have called me numerous times! They leave stupid voicemails. One time I heard people talking in the background, this time some guy said ahhhhh for like 2 seconds then hung up! GRRR I wish they would STOP!
Maybe the second call from this unidentified number. No message & I did not answer.
