They call every night, but never leave a message. I agree- if they are not going to identify themselves then I am not going to answer.

I forgot to mention.. Like the other poster I use to have Direct TV now I have Verizon Fios with all pay channels and VOD and High speed internet (20MB yes 20) all for the same price of just the TV from Direct TV.. And the quality is far superior

It is definately DIRECT TV called the number back and "Thank you for calling Direct TV.. Luckily I use Viatalk (VOIP similar to vonage) I just added them to my black list.. Now when the call a recording tells them to stop calling and hangs up on them no more ringing or voicemails from these BOZO's at DIRECTTV

These bozos call, at the minimum, three times a day...sometimes fairly early in the morning...seven days a week. My spouse answered once and told the person there was no one by that name here(my name)--the person did not identify herself, either. But "they" keep calling my land line every day. I don't answer. My attitude is that if the people/business phoning me is not willing to identify themselves via Caller ID, then I am not willing to bother with them. I did business with DirecTV (if this is them...which it probably is) a couple of years ago so guess they are trying to bug me to sign up again. No way, particularly since they have made it a routine to constantly bother me on the phone line I am paying for. I hate businesses that operate in this manner...

Direct TV number, likely asking me to switch back to their over-priced service.

Switched to BrightHouse and now have DVR, HBO and Cinemax, cable channels on ALL TVs in my house, all for the same price I was paying for DirecTV...

I too had Direct TV installed about a week ago. They called twice the day after the installation and I answered their questions about my satisfaction with the service. But, they have called daily, sometimes more than once, since then and I have opted not to answer. They don't leave a message.

I'm going to assume it was Direct TV, like Brent said. I just had it installed a week ago today, so it would make sense that they would be calling.

I believe this is DirecTV. I just had it installed at my home and they're probably calling asking if everything is good and if I'd be interested in some upgrade.
