calls until the answering device is so full it won't accept any other calls. They call all day long and when answering the phone, it is a recording.

I get calls every once and awhile from this number on my work cell phone. The message indicates to call a Mr. Rodrick Vladamir back, I don't know what they want but I'm not calling anyone that sounds like they're part of the Russian Mafia.

Asset Care Financial Services - calling me 2-3 times per day for over a month now, attempting to collect a debt that is not even associated with me at all.

Have filed two complaints against them in the last 48 hours.

This is what happens when a collection agency uses computers & auto-dialers to bug the hell out of people rather than making an actual effort to speak to the proper individual about their own debts.

Still Scamming. They have an automated message and leave a number and name to call back to and get really upset when I wouldn't give my personal info to them. Several times they mention they are recording this call and will mark you as refused to pay. I'm filing on the BBB site next.

I WENT TO THE FCC COMISSION, AND FILED A COMPLAINT

This is the third call I have gotten from "Asset Care Inc". The voice identifies itself as a debt collection company trying to collect a debt. It says any information obtained will be used to collect a debt. Then it gives a number I should call back. Today it said to call Mr Martin. Since I owe no debt I am not calling them back. I was glad to find this site so I know it is a scam (since 2006!).

I answer the phone with ' this call has been traced." and " this call is being recorded for purpose of filing charges of interstate fraud against the caller" Usually they hang up but lately they have started calling multiple times. My phone is a business line so it can not be put on the Do NOT Call registry.

This is the Better Business Bureau. If you do not have all the information needed to fill out a form, they have a toll free # you can call > speak to someone there. Let them know these calls are hackers & what you have explained in your complaint here > See how that does.

They left message to call them back. I never do, because I have checked it here before. Called twice today, once with this number and once with the 3592 number.

I'm so glad I found this site. With so many complaints, I cannot understand why nothing has been done. How I wish I had a chance to talk to Mr. Martin or someone from AssetCare. Two can play at their game.

They started calling two weeks ago. First msg I called back and they got rude when I would not volunteer my Socials security #. Hung up on me. I called back for supervisor who then read me a social which did not match mine and he told e he had no business with me and hung up on me. Called again and was launched into voice mails. They called a few more times leavin messages about I owe a debt. I called back last evening and was told I owed a bill and they wanted more information on me and a credit card. Told them to mail me something which made them very hostile towards me. Insulted me and hung up

Totally had the WRONG person. The lady was actually very kind. I called back once and they put me on hold for 15 mins. I called back twice to be put on hold again. I then called again and got it straightened out. The number they have is for the wrong person but with my home number.

Next time a cashier asks for your phone number
just give them this number.
Or better yet find out their fax number,
then give out their fax number everywhere.

Was called about 4 times from unknown # last Saturday.....never would answer. Unknown number again this morning. Answered and told to call this # and talk to Mr. Martin...attempted debt collection. I have no outstanding debts.

This number continually calls our home asking for someone who does not live here. Very annoying.

Received a call, and they hung up when I answered. I called them back and was told that the call was being monitored and they asked how they could help me. I told the woman she could help me by telling me what company it was. She told me the name was Access Care, but did not tell me what kind of company it was. I told her I was receiving hang up calls from this number and told her that we are on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. She told me that our number wasn't in their data base. YEAH RIGHT...that's how they call us...I'm not dumb. I asked her to put us on their DO NOT CALL LIST and she refused. I told her that if it continued I would report them to the Attorney General...and she told me to do what I had to do...and I assured her I would and hung up. I urge everyone to make a note of the time and date you receive calls from this number and report them to the Attorney General. We have done that with a couple different companies now and they were fined and they stopped calling.

Called today, hung up as soon as the answering machine kicked on. Apparently, they use automated dialing.

Okay. So take note. THIS NUMBER IS FOR ASSET CARE AND NCO FINANCIAL...SAME/SAME CO. These guys go by two different names and use several numbers to call from so they can possibly get around the fdcp laws making too many calls per day, starting at eight a.m. YES THEY ARE BOTTOM FEEDERS. HAD IT OUT WITH PERSON FROM THERE THE OTHER DAY WHEN I ACCIDENTALLY GOT CAUGHT ON THE LINE. AS MANY HAVE SAID, IT'S FOR AN OLD OLD DEBT THAT I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT/DOUBT STILL EXISTS AND HASN'T BEEN ON MY CREDIT REPORT EVER.

I don't even think these people have a valid Business License to Operate.
Ask them about there valid business license number and watch them squirm or become rude to avoid the question. Tell them you want there business license number so you can Check them out with the Attorney General and such. Tell them you want there Name and to Verify them.They will get ugly fast!

Some people Sent these people money, Only to be told "the money was Never received" or "they still owe more money anyway so pay more" and Never got credit for the money they sent! People have Lost Money on this Scam.

This number belongs to AssetCare. It's a colloectiona agency. Same number as 1-866-3592.
They've been trying money from me re: BestBank Visa. The people involved in this scam were indicted by the FYC years ago. Just waiting to see if my attorney can get some money out of Assetcare before I report them to FTC. Class Action anyone??

It may be a good idea to report that number for harassment to stop the calls. All legitimate callers should identify themselves at the beginning of the call.

They called at 2:33pm CDT asking for a Criselda Sanchez. I explained to them that no one by that name lived here and no one ever has. They kept telling me that there was a person by that name that resided here. I finally yelled vulgar language at them and hung up the phone. They are a collection agency.

Its my understanding that If its an Old debt of several years ago,then its Pass the Statue of Limitations and Not legally enforcable.So they are wasting time calling.They are literally Hoping some DUMB, Stupid, Unknowing, Uninformed Person will send them money

Finally called these clowns back, after receiving yet another Saturday morning 8am wakeup call. They're a collection agency looking for the guy who had this number before me. I've been dealing with collection calls and wrong numbers at all hours for a YEAR because of this deadbeat loser! He'd better hope *I* never find him.

Asset Care is a Junk Debt Buyer. They purchase old debts for pennies on the dollar and then try to collect as much as they can. As a debt collector they are NOT restricted by the do not call registry and they CAN legally call you between the hours of 8am and 9pm.

They continue to call our number with a recorded message, which says they are trying to reach Barbara Sutherland. No one here by that name, or anything close to it. When I call to have them remove our number from their case, they are rude and they hang up. We are on all of the Do Not Call lists and we have no business with them. I think they're working from bad phone lists, trying to collect old debts. The same very rude woman answers the phone when I call back.

They are calling on my cell number which I have only had about two years. The give the ref id and tell me to call them. The funny thing about it is that their system asked for "Bill S." and my last name, which is accurate, but all of my legal forms are signed with "William S." The only place I have ever used Bill S. is on the internet. Funky indeed. They are claiming to be bill collectors, but I have no bills in the name of "Bill S."

got something in the mail (I'm on do not call list) that said I needed to respond to a debt cleared-up on credit report almst a year ago. Cal this number and give a code. I'm concerned about keeping my cred rpt CLEAN, not sure I should call now...

They call constantly. But with different stories. First is was an automated message offering me an employment opportunity with internet research. Then THE SAME VOICE left an automated message saying they were AssetCare and it was an attempt to collect a debt. Interesting, since I don't have any debt even close to being in collections.

Recieved collection letter from Assetcare lising this number. Called and they varified last four digits of social and mentioned debt from 14 years ago. Had correct street but wrong number from that date. I check credit report regularly and have never seen mention of debt they suggested.

Never call them with a regular phone, even with caller ID blocked.
Any tollfree number you call can see your number nomatter what.
The only way to hide is to call via VOIP.

am on a no caller list but still get their calls. check cid list and saw where they had called on 3-01-07 also, don't ususlly answer that type but was in differnt room without c id. they asked for my daugher in her maiden name and gave ref. # so I called and asked what company and she said asst care. I asked what type of comany and she spoke very fast and couldn't understand her and she keep asking for ref # so i gave it to her, she asked to talk to her after i told her i am her mother and i said she is deaf and doesn't live here and before i could asked her anymore ?'s about the reason for the call she said thank you mam and hung up. So I pulled up their number up on google and got this web site. Thank goodness you are here for other people to see we aren't the only people they are trying to scam

Automated message saying they must contact "Jason ". No company name, just tel and id number. Many calls over several years.

Looking for individuals unknown to me. I've received at least 6-8 calls. Identified themselves as Asset Care and they promise to take my number out of their system, but they continue to call again and again. Last call on 2-14-07 1:32PM

called at 7:55 PM automated message asked for someone I never heard of gave me a number to call and a code. I called to say I had never heard of the person. They stated they would correct the "error" and appologized. Lady identified her employer as "Asset Care"

Calls me usually at 8am, when I sleep. That's why it pisses me off. I never answer "unknown name", though.

Starting getting this debt collection message from Mr. Martin as soon as I got my new phone number assigned to me. They keep calling. Very fishy as do not get the call on my primary number (on all accounts) and am on do not call registry. After reading the comments here, I am not calling back.

Got several calls from this number. It's some kind of collection scam. I have fun with them. They left me a code of B02576 to use when I called. I called them several times giving them codes which were one or two numbers off what they gave me. The will give you a name and address and verify it is you. Just say "that's me" and then have fun. Tell me you are unemployed and don't have any money, or tell them you won the lotto and want to know where to send the check (listen to them get excited). LOL!

Got call @ 6:30 tonight. Could hardly hear or understand what they said. Did hear something about debt collection and gave me a code. Will not call back.

Received message from Mr. Martin on 10/20 w/code to call. I suspect this may be some type of identity theft scam. Has anyone signed up as a Katrina volunteer within the last year? I am forwarding all of this info to law enforcement. I am on Do Not Call list but will not provide my phone # on this website.Very unsettling.

Have been receiving calls from this number. The last one this morning, the message stated MCR or NCR Financial System Inc and they were attempting to collect a debt. I called back and was put on hold so I hung up right away. It was also a "Mr. Martin" that was supposed to be called back

got a collection notice with this # on it...they had my ssn and everything ..stated I had an overdue bill as of 10 years ago..and had no record except that I owed AT&T..when I telephoned AT&T they stated NOTHING was owed.
