Who Called Us

called my Tracfone and thank goodness I did not know it till I checked it later on and found three missed calls from these jerks.A Tracfone charges minutes to take and make calls and is a pre-paid card so their calls could have cost me money to answer. I only have a Tracfone for emergencies only and I was at the hospital with a family member when the calls must have came to my phone. It was in my purse and on silent at the time.

They call all day long and they hang up when you answer.
This is criminal, and someone is responsible for this.
I hope they get what is coming.

Receive calls from this # at least three times a day. Ordered "Snuggies" for the kids at Christmas via the "Snuggies" website using my Visa. From that point on have been plagued by these calls from this "partner" to my credit card company. Fortunately I am just getting these calls at work as I did not use my home number when I placed the original order. pick up - hang up! It is like my own little work out routine!

Everyone needs to go to ftccomplaintassistant.gov or call 1-877-382-4357. The web site didn't work for me so we called the number. Once they get enough complaints, they do a criminal investigation. Might as well try it. This company every day more than once. Every time we've asked them to stop calling. One even threatened to charge us $300 because we didn't want to listen to their spiel.

I received so many calls from this number that I finally told the telemarketers "fine, send me the information". They already had my credit card number and said they were a marketing partner with my card company. They said they would send information free of charge and then I could cancel within 14 days if I didn't want to be charged. Because I am stupid I said fine, expecting to call and cancel whatever it was they were sending. A couple days later I had 4 new charges on my credit card. I called each of the numbers involved and they all said they were marketing partners with Discover Enterprises and I had signed up for a free trial. The charges were only shipping for the information. I cancelled my credit card immediately and called each of the companies and told them to cancel my "memberships". One was a home warranty, one was a watch dog id fraud protection program (how ironic) and I don't know what the third thing was...there was no 800 number listed on my credit card statment. That was in April. I also renewed my name on the Texas do-not-call list at that time. I have started receiving calls again. Since July 22nd I have received 9 calls, 4 of them today (it is July 29th). The other 2 numbers they call from are 866-407-6264, and 866-407-4275. How do you stop this kind of harrasment?

They just called my cell, which is an unlisted number and one I don't give out, also on the Do Not Call list. I didn't answer, no msg left.

I have reported them to the do not call list, I had verizon block the number, I called my credit card companies and had myself removed from their call lists, I have also reported this number on every site, and what next???? Give me their fucking address! I want to drive there and remove myself personally

I called Platinum Rewards (which is a premium vacation loyalty program at myplatinumrewards.com) at their number 1-866-814-6295 and left a message asking them to take my number off of their list. I highly recommend anyone who is receiving calls from these numbers also call and leave a message.

this is a nightmare, they call and always hang up, i have to turn of my cell when i go to sleep, they dont care about the hours of the day, and i found out a lot of people have this problem, i can't even talk to them because they always hang up, i get calls from 4 to 6 times a day!

Called my cell 1009 PDT. I answered in the hopes of reminding them that I'm on the DNCR. I received a recording saying THEIR circuits were busy and that THEY would try to call ME later. Like I care.

Call my cell(3rd call today). 1906 PDT.

Called my cell(2nd call today). 1530 PDT.

Each of the previous post give plenty of info about what takes place in these calls; so I'm just logging each call I get to keep Whocalled.us informed and so they have a record of zip codes and dates and times of calls.

Called my cell(illegal)at 0900 PDT. Cell phone registration with the DNCR: 02/04/09. Land line registration: 12/11/08.

definitely telemarketing - I listened to the whole spiel. They offer some gift cards in return for examining some programs like legal and medical resources, id watchdog, roadside assistance etc. you will have 10 days from receiving the info to CANCEL each one individually or your CC will be charged. For all this great stuff, you are charged about $20 shipping & handling after the call.
Very scammy and probably hard to cancel. Each program is like $30 a month, and there are 5 of them in the offer.

they been calling me from this number for about 2 months now. It is telemarketing, they tried to sell something to me identifying last 4 digits of one of my credit cards, they call me every single day, I was able to tell one woman to PLEASE take me off the list, but I guess she totally ignore it, and today I requested the same thing and the guy hanged up on me before I could finish talking !!!! bunch of jerks for sure

I to have been getting these calls from this same number 866-407-5549, they call day and night some times more. When I answer they hang up, so frustrating. I wish that someone could stop this crazy stuff. But it is good to know that I am not alone.

I get call from this number and 2 others. Same result as everyone else reports: 2-4 calls per day and they usually hang up when I answer. You can't call the number back. The one time that I did get a person, they had my debit card information. About a month after these calls started, my bank reissued all MasterCard debit and credit cards with a letter informing everyone know that MasterCard's private information had been compromised. Not just my bank, but MasterCard itself. I don't know if these calls are the result of that, but it could explain how they seem to have people's information.

This number calls me at least 3-5 times a day, and as soon as I answer, they hang up. It's terribly annoying, something needs to be done. I've been trying to call back and find information on this number but I can't find anything.

This number calls me usually at least twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Sometimes in between as well. When i pick up they tell me differant things. One time they told me that something i purchased entitled me to a free gift and one time they told me they were with Platinum Rewards and that my credit card ending in "####" has earned some free reward and then they try to confirm my address and info. I hang up by that point, i dont even pick up any more. I am also on the DNCR.

This number calls my cell and as soon as I answer it hangs up. This has been happening now for over a month something needs to be done!

called my cell at 0949 PDT. Both my cell AND my home land line are on the DNCR. If I can go through the trouble of putting all my personal phones on the DNCR, and telemarketers can't obey the list, then I'm not giving ANY of them my time OR my minutes to abuse.

This number has called my cell phone many times. As soon as I answer it hangs up.

called my cell at 0940 PDT. I'm grateful to the recipients who let us all know what happens when you try to dial these numbers back or try to ask for someone in a supervisory position. I believe it saves many of us from making costly long distance calls or using needless minutes on cell phones trying to get someone who's responsible for all these scam intrusions on the public's time. Thank you all for keeping us posted on all the busy signals and hang-ups.

called my cell 0859 PDT. The only evidence that I have that this might be a scam number is the fact that there was no company or caller's name. On my cell, I won't answer a number that either I didn't call or an area code or prefix that has the reputation for being a telemarketer, since it's supposed to be illegal to solicit on cell phones. Hopefully, someone will find out what company is being represented.
