154 CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER IN 26 DAYS! SOLD LAPTOP UNDER FALSE NAME AND REFUSE TO FIX PROBLEM OR TAKE IT BACK. DELL CAN NOT BE TRUSTED TO BE HONEST AND I HAVE THE PROOF! WAITING FOR THEM TO SUE ME SO I CAN SUE THEM BACK.
Dell Financial calls our number several times a day, every day. We have no dealings with them, no debts, no purchases, nothing. Still, they continue to harass us. I have been getting calls from this number multiple times a day everyday for someone who does not live at my home. We do have a Dell account but they are calling for the wrong person. Every day that they call I ask them to take my number off of this persons account. Every day they tell me it's taken care of. I keep getting the calls. I have been hung up on by call center associates & supervisors on numerous occasions. I finally called 800-283-2210 and spoke with an associate who says he has taken care of it and given me a case# to referance if I get anymore of these calls. We used to have a Dell sales office in our mall but it closed a year or so ago. I'm tired of talking to someone halfway around the world. Does anyone know how to contact someone at Dell in the United States?

Called the number back and a guy with an East Indian accent answered "Hello" and when I told him he had just called me and I want to know why he called, he just hung up". Today, they called again, same guy on the phone and he wanted to to know my zip code. I told him. He said they had a different one for me. When I told him I have been at the same zip code for 10 years, he again told me they had a different one. I told hi that I have been at this zip code for 10 years. He just hung up. What's that all about?
My daughter was receiving calls from this number on her cell (2- 4 times a day!!!) - when I called the number back as many have reported - I was hung up on numerous times - I was able to block the number with our wireless carrier for 3 months - to help put a stop - contact Dell Financial services (from their web page) - it is a pain to get through the menus - but you will finally speak to a person - get a case# and the employee# - they offer to help stop the calls - this was the first helpful person at Dell.

Hi guys yes its Dell Financial Services number becoz I work for them.Well I feel sorry for you guys after reading your comments.But trust me its nothing personal nor we want to harrass anyone.You guys just know story from your end but not from our end. There are millions of customer who owns debt ,they get on line and plainly say"wrong number".And yes still their number gets removed.And whenever your number is removed ;practically same day you might get 2-3 more calls as it takes 24 hours for data to be updated.If you get a call from DFS and its wrong number...just VERIFY your number coz if you just say "remove my no" I guess it wont be removed as you did not verified your number.On one customer account there are atleast 2-3 number so associate doesnt know which one to delete.As all these calls are automatic.Calls are thrown automatically to all callers and then they dispose it off with an outcome. In most of your case you must have got calls,and say associate asked for" rick smith" and u said .."wrno and remove my no" and then hung.Well obviously that number wont be removed.You will get call after some time and you will say" hey god damn it,i told you there is no one with name rick smith,REMOVE MY NO" n you hung. Again no is not verified. Again you get a call and now you say " GIVE ME YOUR SUPERVISOR"..associate hangs up...
Second thing if you make online payment or sechedule your payment online then it cant be seen DFS or it wont be applied on your account coz it takes 48 hrs to 72 hrs for money to be applied from the day of schedule date.So say today is march 15 and you post date a payment for march 19 then that money will be applied on your account on march 21st or 22nd.
I don't even own a dell computer and I get calls on my cell 2 or 3 times a day
This number is from an automated bill collection system from Dell Financial Services. It gives you a menu option to speak to a representative. If you select that option, it hangs up on you. If you call the number back and wait, and keep doing that, eventually a person will answer. Then the person will hang up on you. They hung up on me 5 times today
i made a payment already and they seem to call all the time. even when i'am @ work. i know this because i check my caller id when i get home and the same # shows up as 4 missed calls this needs to stop
I just called the number from a different phone [it was Dell Financial] and asked them to remove the number from their records. they agreed and said they would not call again.

I don't even owe Dell money yet I'm blessed with their harrassing calls and hang ups on the answering machine. Ever since we got a new landline telephone number one week ago they have been calling...sometimes 6 or more times a day. I haven't even given our phone number out to any friends or family so when it had started ringing my husband and I laughed about it, wondering who it could be. After a week of the phone ringing for debts that aren't mine, it's no longer funny.
I called them today, spoke to someone with a heavy accent & didn't understand much of what she said. I however was very clear in my request for them to remove my telephone number from their calling list. We'll see.

It is Dell Financial Services. I am well aware that my payment is late. I set up a payment online 2 days ago for last month's and this month's payment yet these fools still call me. WTF!?!?!
Yes this is Dell Financial and I also have an automated payment set up with their system but it keep debiting the wrong amount I have updated the information twice, and each time it takes out the wrong amount they start calling and calling and calling but NO they never leave a message
Dell Financial Services. Called 2 times in less than 30 mins. I do not have a Dell account, but they claim my number was recently used in my application and I was delinquent. I told them I had no account with them and that this number was about 1 year old. They stated they would remove the number from the account.
I get repeated calls from this number asking for someone who doesn't live here, someone I don't even know, when I indicate thisand that they have a wrong number I am told they are transferring my call and I get no responseI get several calls every day and this is getting pretty aggravating. Looking for recourse.
they are seriously harassing me too!!! I looked up this number first and saw all this stuff on the net, so when i called back I just went off on the person who answered saying that I too had settled my account, they continue to call...and there is 3 or 4 internet sites up about them from people complaining...she hung up in my face. So I started calling them back like 20 times and hanging up and going off and blocking my number and I think it pissed off the lady. they are lucky im not home in the day.
Dell called because I was *GASP* 6 days late!!!!!!!!! What the didn't know is that a payment was already scheduled. Of course I didn't talk to anyone until I called back because, no message was left. So when I called back the person as the nerve to ask why I was late. Well that frankly is none of Dell's f-ing business. And to top it off while I was having a good laugh at their expense about a massive 6 days my call waiting kicked in. IT WAS DELL AGAIN! At least I am on home for the day sick, nothing better to do than have a lot of fun with poor bastard who gets my account up.
We have been receiving calls from Dell Financial Services for months. Sometimes 4 or 5 calls a day. I have tried getting mad, speaking calmly, you name it. They have my name in their records incorrectly. Same name but when I asked them the last 4 numbers of this person's social security#..It's not mine. I have had several of their agents assure me that my number had been taken off their call list..Yeah right. Do I need to call my State's Attorney General..Somehow I feel it would be easier to deal with Dell.

It's bad enough I can't block this call. When I pick it up there's nothing on it. At the very least it should have a content although I prefer not to get this call at all if not able to block this call to my phone.
This is definately Dell Financial calling for payment. Actually when I called this number back, they of course answer already armed with your account up on their computer terminal. If the phone you are using is in their database, they know who you are before picking up the call. What's interesting it I just make a payment through Dell Financial Website on 5/13/07 and these collectors seem to be totally unaware of this! If you make a payment online through Dell Financial and they are calling you for payment- please complain!

how do i get them to stop calling
This is the DFS automated dialer. It will continue to call even after you make your payment...IF you haven't picked up and listened to the message. If you just pick the line up and select an option to either pay now over the phone or w/in 3 days online, they'll stop calling.
Called the number and requested they quit calling - the number they are calling is a company cell phone and not associated with who they are looking for!
They claim it has now been removed.
This number calls about every half hour starting at 8am. Dell's system does'nt seem to know that I have my payments automatically debited every month.
I called the toll free number from my land line and got someone who immediately offered to remove me from the list.
**Harassment**
Well I have received nine calls today. This is just plain harassment from Dell financial. They don't even care to stop calling even after paying. If a plain citizen were to make this many calls to anyone, charges would be brought to them for harassment. I do understand that Dell has the right to call to get payments, but 10 to 12 calls a day is way beyond what should be normal. Also when somebody gets on the phone you have a hard time understanding them since they are overseas.
Started calling Sunday at 8:30a and it was 7:00pm total of 12 calls...Maybe what we should do is for very call you get from them call them back 3 or 4 times this cost them more money and see if they like it. Dell Financial Service has made me think twice about doing business with Dell. As I'm typing this they have started for today (monday12/18/06 - 9:40a) first call of the day, so I got 9+ calls to go from Dell.
No message left no caller ID
This number starts calling by 8AM and won't stop until around 9PM and averages about 10-15 calls a day. I'm afraid to answer b/c I NEVER answer calls on my cell unless I know who they are. WON'T STOP CALLING!!
