I received a call from this number insinuating that I had won $50k. I was instructed to give them a call back and then they congratulated me.

Called the number back and this is the recording "Thankyou for calling the distribution center. If you know your party's extension please dial it now or hold the line for the operator." Then it just rang and rang and rang. No one answered.

Bobby called and left the same vague message about a $25,000 Sweepestakes which had just closed. He asked to call him back @ 866-313-0311. There wasn't any company referenced in the message, so I thought it must be a scam. My call came in on 05/17/2012. So it is the same message. I won't be calling them.

Bobby has been calling my home for months. I called the number someone spoke briefly transferred the call to another called Angie (voicemail). It needs to stop I will be report this scam to the FBI maybe they can stop this scam.Ther is a form that you can report this scam to the FBI just as I did before when they were sending out fake FBI emails. Bobby needs to find a real job and work for a living instead of living off hard working folks.

"Hi, Bobby here with the award center, calling in regards to the contest entered some time back for the #25,000 sweepstakes giveaway. Well the contest is officially over, we are looking at your entry, so we do have very good news for you. What we need you to do as soon as possible is give us a buzz back here in the office--toll-free!--at [NUMBER]. Again, that's Bobby at [NUMBER]. We'll talk to you soon, and congratulations." As with the other commenters, there is no mention who the company is or who they're calling for or when the alleged contest was.

WHAT IS THE PRIZE

2011-07-17 22:49:58 UTCHarvey

Guess they are really having trouble unloading that Navigator. I get this one couple times a month, never pick up, or call back. I know that there was no way I entered a sweepstakes, stopped farming junk mail, and phone solicitations, more than 25 years ago. Came here to see if anyone had gone the distance, to find out what the real deal is with this. The 'Do not call list', doesn't work if you invite them in. Wondering if calling them back, is the invitation they are looking for, to get around the law.

2011-04-28 20:47:14 UTCPam

I can't believe these guys are still at this, haven't been arrested. They've got me morning noon night & weekends, often daily, and the caller id showing a large variety of names, business names & phone #s with area codes from all over the country, and as "Name Unavailable" as well. Around a year ago I finally returned their call & told them I've never entered any contest, no one in my household has, to STOP these harassing phone calls. The guy apologized & said he was sorry, he'd remove my phone # from their Calling List. The calls stop for a few months, then resumed. Is there legal action we can take against these scamming thieves? What can we do?

"Hi, this is Jim, you entered a contest a while back in hopes of winning a Lincoln Navigator. Congratulations!
Please give me a call back toll-free at 866-313-0311." Dang, I could have used a new vehicle... This guy deserves to be run over with a Navigator! That is so rotten. ;-\

2011-03-14 20:19:13 UTCDee

I got this call a couple days ago. I didn't remeber entering any specific drawing but I enter quite a few so I called back. I have yet to get someone on the phone but thanks to this site I know what to expect.

2011-03-11 21:50:45 UTCLinda Elliott

They put me on hold. When they came back on the asked me if I still had the claim number? They said that I am eligible for 2 airline tickets or a 3 night cruise...... I had enough and told them I was reporting them here.

2011-02-22 23:01:59 UTCMike

Oh darn! I got the call too. I was hoping they'd give me the wholesale value in cash instead of the Navi. Grrrr!!!

2011-01-24 14:12:28 UTCsusan

it's a scam, they call saying that you have won a lincoln navigator, returned call, left message, did a little home research, scam, scam, scam

same message as marie caller id came up valarie conner 708-248-7062

2011-01-14 18:49:42 UTCMarie

Message said it was Jim with Price Distribution Center regarding a drawing for a Lincoln Navigator @866-313-0311. He congratulated me that I had actually won something and I needed to call him back at 866-313-0311. The contest had ended but I had won a prize. When I called back a lady answered but couldn't tell me when or where the contest was to have taken place. I was told where to come to to claim my prizes from Sunshine Promotions. I decided to come to this site to check out the number. Unfortunately there are way too many scammers out there. Thankfully this site told me just what I had suspected.

2011-01-11 21:43:10 UTCRick

on my cell phone - thanks for releasing these cell phone numbers to the public!! This cell has been on the DNC registry for
several years now. Grrr. Anyway Jim said he was from the Price Distribution Center and then something about a contest I may have entered some time ago for a brand new Lincoln Navigator - we have great news for you, call us back ...
Do you mean I don't get the SUV? )~:

2010-12-14 23:10:45 UTCMichelle

Same Here: Jim with Price Distribution Center regarding a drawing for a Lincoln Navigator @866-313-0311. "Congratulations..have good news..." ugh!

2010-12-10 15:59:01 UTCJim P

Same message from a Jim at Price Distribution Center about a contest I entered "some time ago" and about a Lincoln Navigator. This guy actually called previously. Sounded like a scam both times...looked it up on the web. So I am not the first one to have received this call! I wonder how they got my mobile phone number, though. I use it rarely for voice calls.

2010-12-09 18:32:31 UTCBrad

I can't afford the gas for that thing anyway.

2010-12-07 22:22:34 UTCSharon

Same voicemail message left as everyone else. Jim left me a vague message saying I had entered a contest a while ago to win a Lincoln Navigator, and congratulations, he had good news. I was to call back. It seemed odd that the called ID would say Illinois if I had won a car, and not the name of the dealership or contest sponsor. So here I am, another unscammed person. Yay me.

2010-12-06 21:37:29 UTCGeorge

You mean im not getting my new Navigator ....

2010-11-07 20:24:15 UTCElla

I got a call from Jim 11/06/10, he left a message saying that a sweepstakes just ended for Lincoln Navigator in which I or well someone else in our household entered in, and he had good news for the person, & said congratulations. This call was received on a Saturday, which was already kinda odd to me. Also the message was very vague, no names were mentioned, and if in fact someone in our household had won, why wouldn't they know the name? I did call back just to see if anybody will answer and ended up getting a voice mail and left a message. My message was fairly vague, saying, "We got a call from Jim in regards to a sweepstakes entry involving a Lincoln Navigator, please give us a call back @ " the number they left a message at." I know it's a scam after reading all the posts on it but I wanna see if they do call me back what they will ask for.

2010-10-18 14:49:09 UTCNot Trusting

Message said it was Jim from the Prize Distribution Center about a contest I had entered sometime back to win a LIncoln Navigator. He congratulated me that I had actually won something and I needed to call him back at 866-313-0311. I was immediately suspicious that he had not actually said what the name of the contest was nor did he seem to know when the contest was to have taken place. I decided to come to this site to check out the number. Unfortunately there are way too many scammers out there. Thankfully this site told me just what I had suspected.

2010-10-15 21:02:34 UTCDave

Called to say I had entered a contest to win a Lincoln Navigator and that he had some good news for me.

2010-09-25 19:13:16 UTCALICE

I JUST GOT A VOICE MAIL FROM JIM AT THE SAME NUMBER. SAID I HAD ENTERED A CONTEST REGARDING THE NAVIGATOR, (WHICH IS HIGHLY POSSIBLE) AND RETURN HIS CALL AT THE 866-313-0311 NUMBER, WHICH I DID AND ONLY RECEIVED THEIR VOICE MAIL. I IMMEDIATELY GOT ONLINE AND LOOKED IT UP. I'M GLAD I DID, BUT FOR A FEW MINUTES THERE I ACTUALLY THOUGHT I MIGHT HAVE FINALLY WON SOMETHING! AND IN BAD NEED OF A VEHICLE AT THAT! CAN'T WE SUE THEM FOR THIS? THERE'S GOT TO BE A WAY TO. WE SHOULD ALL GET TOGETHER AND STOP THIS. I KNOW JOBS ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN OUT THERE, BUT THIS IS NOT THE WAY SOMEONE NEEDS TO EARN A LIVING AT THE FINANCIAL AND EMOTIONAL LOSS TO SOMEBODY ELSE, RIGHT? HAS THE ECONOMY GOTTEN THAT BAD THAT WE HAVE TO LEAVE OUR MORAL VALUES AT HOME WHEN WE LEAVE FOR WORK? HOW DO THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT? Caller: PRICE DISTRIBUTION CENTER

2010-08-23 19:32:52 UTCmatt

i have recieved several calls from this "prise distribution center"

2010-06-13 17:43:41 UTCFrankie

I got the same type of garbled message that "Almost Scammed" got but could clearly hear the end with the congratulations that I'd won something. I didn't even for a moment think of returning the call as this is a new number to me and simply associated with a business I have -- I knew for a fact I hadn't entered and won anything. Decided to look it up and found this place -- hope others that get calls from these guys take note.

2010-06-01 19:15:08 UTCAlmostScammed4

Same as "Almost Scammed2",which might make me AlmostScammed3; or 4, since I'm counting,"What the....."
Thank you ALL for sharing, and confirming my suspicions.
Blessings

2010-05-12 20:36:29 UTCwhat the.....

I got a message from Jim that I won a Lincoln Navigator - normally I would not even call but I entered a local drawing thing at our local move theatre - so I called and they wanted all my information I told the guy I wanted to know what and why they were calling first. He said ok that I had won a prize but the location in Idaho where I lived closed and they needed to find a different distribution center near me, he asked if I could call back in 2 hours and hung up on me. Not sure what happened - but I wont be calling back in 2 hours

2010-04-01 22:57:46 UTCAlmostScammed2

Same thing as "Almost Scammed" but after reading the message, I will not be returning Jim's call from the Prize Distribution Center. I even got a "Congratulations" from Jim.

2010-03-09 19:33:02 UTCAlmost scammed

I had a msg from Jim, with Prize Distribution Center. The majority of the phone call was left in a way that you couldn't understand it. The only part that was truly clear was that I had entered a contest to win a Lincoln Navigator some time back. As awesome as it would be to be true, I knew it wasn't after reading all the comments online. I called the phone number they left, it put me through to an operator, then someone asked me to hold. FINALLY someone came on and asked if I knew who had called me, I told him Jim. Then he asked me for my information so that he could pull me up in the system. I started to give him my name, but realized that they might not even know that! So, I asked them to please take me off of their call list, he said that it wasn't a call list, but okay. SO, I'm sure this was in now way a legitimate prize for me. Probably some ridiculous tactic to get people to go to some lousy cheap time share crap.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
