Who Called Us

The only way you will get this number to quit calling is, the hard way, YOU have to send them by CMRRR a letter listing the number they keep calling and that you are issuing a Cease and Desist to them. Then when you get that green card(cmrrr) back, the first time they call-instant lawsuit you file for $1000 in your pocket, oh and they have to pay all legal fees. That is unfortunately the ONLY way you can get them to stop.

Automated call, leaves a message..."If this is Donna H., press 1, If you need additional time to get Donna H. press 2, If Donna H. is unavailable, press 3". Of course this is all being recorded on call notes, so they never get a response. They never leave a call back number. Such a waste of time on their part.

i called them and told them if they ever call here agin i will be filing charges. they are morons and just cal whatever number looking for people for collecting debts. and they really fight with you to get your number removed.they were warned if they called again i was filing harrassment charges. i have no idea who they were looking for either

Past six weeks have rec'd vms on my business line "Hello. This call is from West Asset Management, a debt collector. When you receive this call, please call 866-302-0858. Thank you for your prompt reply. Again, the number is 866-302-0858." Wasted SO MUCH TIME calling them over and over - my number isn't even in their database and my company's switchboard number is linked to an "Angelique Williams" who as far as I know never even worked here. Sheila, a manager in Sherman, Texas for WAM, said she would remove both of these numbers - yeah, Sheila, it hasn't happened yet. Your CEASE AND DESIST letter is on its way. BTW, filed complaint with FTC as well.

This stubit company has tapped into my phone line and now interruping my messages when I'm on the phone. I have reported them to the attorney General office.

They call all the time. Never leaving anything. Finally called back and they stated that I owe a debt on my internet bill from Qwest. If that was true, then my cable would have been shut off!!!

p.s. They only have my name not social, DOB, or address.

A Machine answered with a cryptic message saying call back at this number this has to do with some Debt Collection. and then I called back and they dont have any record of me whatsoever. They asked for my social and I gave it to them as I was tense because I just lost my credit cards a couple of weeks ago. Now I am just repenting what a mistake I have made...

I've been getting calls from the above said company now for about 2 weeks. They are calling my direct business line. That number is unpublished and shows up as blocked or unavailable when I call out. They are either random calling or the only place they could have gotten my direct number is from my website, as I only give this number out as a contact to clients. My bills, both personal and business, are all current, no credit card balances and my only debt is a mortgage anyway. So, I checked my credit report to see if someone has stolen my identity and there isn't anything unusual. This has got to be a scam!

The number, 866-302-0858, was given on my answering machine to call regarding a person named Susan Springer. with account number 20075208. I looked up this person and she had this number possibly as long as three or four years ago. I have had the number for two years, and AM NOT Susan Springer. Sure wish that West Asset Management had the brains to do a simple Google search like I did and find this person and QUIT pestering me. There should be legal remedies to stop them. Might just talk to an attorney and see if they can be sued! The caller ID gave their number as 870-216-4090, which is for West Asset Management. Real stupid people, you can't find someone if you keep dialing a wrong number, even after you are told it is the wrong number.

Called Mothers home stating they are a collection agency and left the number. When I called the number it rings and then either gives a busy signal or sounds like a fax machine.

What can be done to eliminate these calls

Received numerous calls re my son who has not lived in my home for over 20 years. They refuse to give any info & will only give a file #

I repeatedly get calls from this collector of someone that does not even reside at my home and they will not stop calling. Clogs up my voice mail!

Just got a text msg to "call back" from this number on my cell. I have had several missed calls as well. They are trying to get hold of my daughter for a delinquite student loan my Ex is on the hook for. Very persistent!

did not say who they were or what they wanted. Just left a phone number. I do not owe any debts. The strange thing is they started calling after the Attorney General forwarded a complaint I had sent to them about another collections firm (CBE) leaving the VERY SAME MESSAGE. So do they just change firm names? I dunno. I just changed phone numbers 2 months earlier to get rid of these creeps.

I am receiving a call from this number several times a day. They do not say what it is regarding, only that I need to return their call asap!! IF it is regarding a debt, they are not saying who they are calling for. I just let it go to my answering machine, not going to talk to anyone who can not state their business!!!

I got a call on my answering machine regarding my brother a mentally retarded man living in a group home. It was automated, gave me the number above to call and an account #. This was on a Saturday. Same day called back and got a recorded message saying to call back Monday through Friday. Haven't got a clue about what this could be about. This whole thing sounds fishy! Any more calls this weekend, they go to the answering machine.

I've gotten several recorded messages from them asking me to call them back. I never do I wish tey'd quit calling my cell phone.
