Who Called Us

These assholes called my cell 38 times in 3 days! It rings once, I answer and they have hung up. I called the number back and got a "Miss Whitehead". She was very rude and I just asked who they were trying to reach. She gave me the name of someone I never heard of and asked me for the number. If she knew who they were looking for, why did I have to give her the number? She said that he probably had the number before me but I've had the number for over 11 years. When I tried to tell her this, she said I was lying and hung up.

I can see by my caller id today that these folks called again and did not leave a message.

Fed up with the calls? Capitol Hill is responsible for this mess.

Plaza Associates - Automated message - illegal in GA. Called and was hung up on by their 1st "representative". The 2nd Rep was much more professional and asked for the control number. I told him that I have had my phone# for years and to stop calling or I would file charges against them via the Public Service Commission and the Sec. of State's office.

I had a message on my machine from this co,about 4 months ago I was hounded from collections cos
always I had no idea who they wanted.I got so feed up I e-mailed the FTC and gave them the companys numbers and names,they stopped ,now I have another co,I told the lady I would turn them in if they called my house again.If every one would take the information and call the FTC or e-mail them maybe we will get peace of mind.

"Plaza Associates" keeps calling for some one who has NOT lived in my home for 8-10+ yrs. Past CA statues.I have no idea where this person is, & don't care. I will find an address & post. Urge all to file cease & decease, send copy to your states attorney general. Keep written records. Then SUE on the violations. Most attorneys will work on continguency.

Call referenced phone 866-233-0397 case# 59696104. Answer machine recorded initial request for DeAndria Davis and given a period of time to hangup afterwhich they declared if the answering machine continued to record the message that this call would be declared to be DeAndria Davis' telephone. The caller then gave the reference numbers above. I thn looked this up on Google and am hereby entering this information. I do not intend to reply to this erroneous message and shall delete it from my machine.

Why collections are calling me ? I don't have any debts

these people kept on calling about a heather - debt collectors. I asked them again to correct the phone number before, they started calling again. When I called them back to tell them it is still a wrong number, the person who answered the phone is so rude.

A recording keeps calling, assuming I'm Kanysha McKantz...and telling me to call back at my earliest convenience with a reference number that it gives. Press 2 option doesn't seem to work.

They keep calling me (for my ex wife's debt with Providian Visa account.)

Called my home number looking for Angela Alvarado. I've had this number for almost 7 years.

They keep calling me everyday from 8AM-8PM for the deadbeat who had my telephone number before me. They won't stop calling! I tried call them back to inform them of their error, but I was on hold too long. Now I just unplug my phone between the hours that they call and use my cell.

They (automated)called looking for someone I have never known. Left the 866 # for this person to call back ang give ref#. Sounds like it is going to be fun getting them to stop calling my cell#

They keep calling and asking for my daughter- asked for SS# which I refused to give- they told me the address of the person they are looking for and it's not my addres-s I told them that and they won't stop calling- they are extremely rude and hung up on me when I questioned why they kept calling.

I got a brand new company cell phone and my first voicemail after set up was a computer-generated recorded message from these people looking for someone else, possibly someone who had that phone number at some point.

they call me asking for an angela type person a lot.. AFTER 4 years of having my phone number. i tell them quite often that i am not her. they own't listen

I dont answer numbers I dont know. I let it ring and they rang it 30 times.

I had them call me and ask for a similar name to ANGELA GAINES mayeb even that name? They asked me to press two If I wasnt angela? I have no debt, I dont even have a cellphone or AT and T?

This is some collection agency that called my phone number in error. The guy had a major attitude problem.

called for a 'john nelson'. Plaza & Associates.

Automated messaged called however didnt tell who was calling. I called the number back and got a rude man saying "are you___ we are looking for ___" I told them no you called me and he said somthing unaudible and I called him an unpleasent name and hung up.

Confirmed this number is Plaza Associates (after paying $14.95) at US.Search.com.

They called today and I finally called back and yes, it is Plaza Associates (according to the voicemail). I punched in the control number for my wife and they said that she owned money for a Providian Visa she never had. They gave me the months of use and the final amount and date paid. I then confirmed (unfortunately by last four digits of my wife's social#) that they had the last name incorrect. They said they would remove me from the list. Will someone PLEASE tell me if this is legit or not...even Google turns up nothing after extensive searching.

collection company keeps calling my home phone looking for a Angela Gaines. I have had my home# for over 18 months. Yet, they can not understand that they have reached a wrong number. I have spoken with several of their reps, even one who said I just lost out on a million dollars. After I told him I knew he was a collection agency, he told me to F@#% off and hung up on me. I called them over 18 times one day, and kept tying up their line. I eventually was told that If I called them again, I would arrested for harrassment. I attempted to explain, your company called me. I only returned the after each time your company called "MY PHONE#" and explained that "ANGELA GAINES" does not reside here, does not have this phone# any longer, and I am tired of it. This worked for about 60 days, then they started all over again. Thank God for State and Federal laws, that protect them, and let them annoy me... they use the phone numbers:

if this is for AT&T, I used to have an acct with them prior to Cingular's buyout. Cingular had to sell my area off due to FCC ruling... CellularOneEastTx bought it. They provided HORRIBLE service and did not live up to their end of the contract. I went with Cingular service and cancelled after THEY breached they contract by not providing service they promised, in the areas they promised. This company is now going after everyone in this area who switched after being severely disappointed in CellularOne and CellularOne sending out receipts to some of us stating our acct was paid in full. (I had to argue for this proof) I WILL report them for harassment
