I am a former employee of Telepoint Communications. My "tip" would be to answer your phone and ask to be placed on the do not call list. Employees were not "allowed" to leave messages on your answering machines. The place was a dump. I mean that literally. It had a foul odor, the place was falling down around them, sometimes we wouldn't get a break until four hours after clock in, the employees are bottom of the barrel because they are only paid 7 something an hour. When I worked there, you received no benefits, no health care, no 401. the "supervisors" made the same amount as the phone reps., over time was mandatory though you didn't get paid for overtime, and each week you had to fight to get paid and if you complained to the supervisor the statement was "there is the door", every time you left the phone you were penalized, even for the required by law break times, yet the owner drove a top of the line car. That is why I left. Just like every other sane person did and got better jobs.

A telecommunications company "front man" lacking communication skills. I will report back should this latest effort succeed, or fail.

I don't see where they are non-profit in any way, so why am I getting the calls when I am on the Do Not Call Registry? And why should I go through all the trouble of writing (and using my own postage) or making a toll call to have my name removed from a list I never wanted to be on in the first place? My Sunday morning call from this sleazy company ladened with drug users and sellers (a supervisor and a few employees there - 6 in all were busted for selling slightly off the premises) was a political call. Too bad the campaign staffs don't do diligent research into companies they hire as more Web pages are devoted to this company than most others that annoy us.

Bottom line: after reading the government page and if you find that the marketer is not in compliance with the rules you can walk into any county court and file a small claims action against them and ask for statutory damages. I do not think judges are allowed to deviate from the award (give you less).

A word: getting a judgment is one thing. Collecting is something else altogether whether the company is located in your state or many states away.

Oh, and for any political org. reading this - I will NOT vote for your candidate or issue, even if I am a supporter, if you constantly call my home or business or use incompetents like this company.

On another note, if you check their web site they list an 866 number that is supposed to be their number. It really is Mariot Reservations, who say they know nothing about Telepoint Communications. I mentioned this to the woman from Telepoint. She said they are aware of this and need to correct that issue also. She said they don't know how the number got on their website but are working to correct it. I asked if they're a new business and was told they've been in business for several years. They're oddly clueless for a company that has been around for a long time.

I keep getting call after call several times a day. Managed to pick up today and said 'hello' many times, only to have some guy do the same thing so I advised to take this number off your list and hung up. Then I called back and spoke to someone and told them also. Let's wait and see.

As suggested by "C" I called Bob Keeley at 856-627-7100, about the constant calls I am recieving from Telepoint Communications fax # 856-627-1792. I also informed him ofthe recommendation of "C" that we beginning calling him to resolve this issue. I am a heart patient that is not even allowed visitors. I would like to spend my days in peace as I am sure you all want to also.

I have received several calls from this number in the past month, I looked the comapnay up (Telepoint Communications) and called them at (856)627-7100 and spoke to a person named Bob Keeley and told them not to call again....We'll see what happens.

I recieved a call from this number and when I called them back there was a cheesey voice message saying they have the right to call us but we would have to leave our personal information on their voice mail in order for us to be placed on their "internal do not call list"

google them and youll find the real # is 856-627-7100 call them and you'll get somebody on the phone . I have contacted the attorney general in De about the matter

We continually receve calls from this # and no when answered there is no one on the line. When I call the # back all I get is "this memory is full". Very annoying.

Called and listened to the extremely long message explaining that they are exempt from the Do Not Call list, but if you leave your name & phone #, they will put you on their internal "Do Not Call" list.

I have received 10 calls from this number in the last two days. When the message goes to voicemail, no message is left on my phone. When the call is answered, there's no one there, and in a few seconds a message from the phone company comes on saying "if you'd like to make a call, please hang up and then redial the number". I called the number and finally got a recorded messages saying that it was some kind of political survey commpany and that it was legal for them to make this call, apologizing if they caused any inconvenience, and saying that if I did not want them to call any more to leave my name and number and they would remove my name from their list. I've been called three or four times by the same number since I told them to take me off their list immediately and to never call me again. I am in the process of making a formal complaint to the AT&T Annoyance call center (888-966-6222) email address is contact.bellsouth.com. It is intolerable for this company to keep this up!

Received call from Telepoint on behalf of Time Magazine. They said I would be receiving a free gift in 3 - 4 weeks and a book which I could keep for $89 or send it back if I don't like it. I told them not to send anything and that I don't want anything. Received a call like that about 4 weeks ago too.

Caller hung up before answering machine answered.

They have called several times in the last month and leave no message but my caller ID shows them as being Telepoint Commu and the number as shown here. I have not bothered to call them back nor will I. They are becoming a pain however as I am gone for a large part of the day and when I get home I will find 2 or 3 times they have called and left no message.

After a little research, I found a phone number to call to have my name removed from this calling list. It requires a long distance telephone call but was worth it to me. Seems its a political survey thing. Of course, the computer hangs up on you if they aren't ready to talk to you. Hope it works!
