How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

This number calls two or three times a day for the last two weeks or more. Caller ID says unknown name.
Someone called from this number while I was out of town. Didn't leave a message. Does anyone know who this is?
They call all the time. Just don't answer it. Will try the pound sign and see if this works.
ID said unknown number. When I returned the call I got a message from verizon wireless to call back between 9a and 9p, regular business hours. It was 3 in the afternoon!

Yep called me today. Said was a verizon wireless call. Hope this helps. Don,t answer if not in my list.
I am sick of this. I received calls back to back from this number and 1-816-389-2640. Obviously same office just a few cubicles away! The other phone number shows that its a mortgage company. That is solicitation so why isn't the Do Not Call working! I have just filed complaints about these numbers with the DNC too. Hope it helps.

They have called 3 times in the last three days early (before 7 am) in the morning. Never leave a message and when you call back you get a busy signal.
When the phone rings and it is them push the pound sign a dozen times this voids there call system dialer
