Who Called Us

This has been going on for a year. When there's a human being on the other end, I repeatedly state that the person they are looking for isn't at this number, never has been and that I have no friggin clue who he is. Their response? "Where is he? If you're covering for him we will have a warrant for your arrest."

I'm hoping someone does come on over... then I can beat the sh*t out of them for annoying me needlessly day in and day out.

I hope they get nut and/or twat cancer.

I am getting this call daily and I do not have any credit card debt etc.
So why are they calling me?
I think someone is using my phone number.

This number call at all hours and numerous times a day and when answering there is never anyone one other end it is getting very annoying and frustrating

They have been calling at least 3 times the last week or so. I've never answered and will not. As*holes. Better not wake my kids up from nap. So annoying. I'll have my husband take care of this. We can block calls. Everyone should look into doing so.

Stupid recording claiming that if I continue to listen I am admitting I am the person they are seeking. Well, cant they just claim you listened regardless? Anyway, figured it was collections of some kind. If they call again I am going to blow a whistle in their ears.

I keep getting calls from this number to my cell phone. My cell phone is less than 45 days old so I am thinking this is a sales call of some sort. When I try to call this number back it is a fast busy which usually indicates the number does not accept incoming calls.

They have called 7 times to my cell in less than 2 days. A real pain in the _ _ _ !!!!!!

Or maybe we should all start buying up their stock (AACC). With 30.5 million shares outstanding, that's about 2 shares per person they annoy the hell out of. Then we can vote them out of existence.

You all are wasting your time with the Do Not Call registry. These losers are debt collectors and therefore exempt. You need to be filing your complaints with the Federal Trade Commission for unfair debt collection practices. These #$@*ards have been trying to stick my wife with fraudulent charges for over three years. They don't care whether you really owe anything or not. They bought some ancient debt for 1 cent on the dollar and now are trying to sucker somebody into giving them money. Everybody complain to the FTC!

I am so sick of getting called by this place I could SCREAM!!!! I have told them over and over again AI do not know the person they are trying to reach and it makes me mad that they will not give up. Look how much time they have wasted calling the wrong person!

These losers are trying to collect a debt for some woman who does not live here and we do not know. They refuse to believe me and are abusive. They show as AACC on my caller ID. I do not answer when they call and they hang up on the answering machine.

Called looking for my dad wanted to know when he would be avaliable?? Like I have any idea I don't babysit him...Anyways asked to take a message and they lady said is his address still on ___ RD? I told her unless she could tell me what it wad regarding I wasn't giving out information. Thats when she asked if I was his wife and I said no. She then said well it doesn't concern you. I said then his address doesn't concern you and she hung up on me! That was a first, a collection agency that hung up on me. AACC is always rude. I had debt that was placed with them and they reaged it by 2 years on my credit report. If I can find a class action lawsuit against them I will be filing!

They've been calling here nonstop ever since the first day that I got this tele #. I've never answered any of the calls, hoping they'd get tired and move on. Being on a couple of do not call lists hasn't helped. I shouldn't be surprised - Scum bags like this always ignore the law.

Caller ID showed CELLULAR CALL and the #. It was Asset Acceptance looking for someone I do not know, Thomas L Ingram. I have had this phone # for 4 years, and the person who had this # before me is also not Thomas Ingram, HOWEVER, I occasionaly get a piece of mail for Mr Ingram, so I think maybe they did a reverse search by address and got my phone #. I called them back and spoke to Jason, told him I do not know Mr Ingram. We will see what happens.

Called and asked for Jason some last name could not understand, not in my family anyway. I answered them once and said no one here by that name and he said he would remove the number. We will see. They did say Asset Acceptance.

we got a call from the same number the rest of you have but it says cellular call. They hung up just before the machine answered so they obviously have called here before under another name.

Called and wanted to "resolve a personal business matter" More than likely a debt that has been passed around for about 15 years...WTF?

Continues to call for someone that I have no idea who it is. Have asked numerous times for them to stop calling and bugging me at all hours of the day, but the continue. Who is on our side to stop this illegal harrassment?

Called asking for someone and I told them "I'm sorry he not here" and click, they hung up.

This company has been harassing my elderly parents for over a year now. They keep insisting that my dad and "his associates" owe them money. My dad has tried numerous times to tell them they have the wrong number but to no avail...they keep calling! I will file complaints everywhere I possibly can to get them to stop!

I've received calls from this number asking for someone who doesn't live here and I keep telling them they have the wrong number. When I asked to be removed from the list the jerk just laughs. These are some real losers. Caller ID said AACC, I'm filing a compliant against them at donotcall.gov
Everyone who is annoyed by these ignorant people should file a compliant as well.

A collection agency asking for someone we've never heard of. We've had our # for over 3 years, so this company must be the bottom-feeders of the industry.

This is Asset Acceptance. They're caller id says withheld or anonoymous. But they tell you by listening to the voice message you've admitted that your the person they are looking for. I'm Virgina but they name they gave is Ester Winfield. I've don't know her. I'm going to report this number to the FTC for annoying me and not identifying themselves. I found out this was their number by doing a google search.

Accept Acceptance some type of Debt collection agency that I owe nothing. They've called me over 10 times the last week and will not talk, just leaves a mail stating by continuing to listen I've admitted I was someone else. They are obviously scam artist collection ex-con men.

I just called the number again and asked them to remove my phone number that the person who they were asking for did not live here(actually, the name sounded foreign, maybe Spanish, not sure)they put me on hold and found two accounts in this persons name -with our phone number so they said they updated it and took our number out -we'll see...

Isn't it illegal to fake caller id? Asset Acceptance has violated the law and should be reported to the proper authorities. Any comments on what agency to whom they should be reported?
