I blocked their number, they called five times yesterday, three times today.
As usual, just answered the phone as I always do with #'s I don't recognize or that come up "private caller" or "unknown" by saying: "______ Police Department!". BOY! Does this work!!! All she said in a rather embarassed tone of voice; "Oh, I'm sorry. I must've dialed the wrong #." As Nelson Muntz on the Simpsons show says:

They say they are taking a survey for "Spectrum" group (or Spectrum something) "regarding your current financial outlook." The 2nd question was re: value of our financial investments. When I replied "less than $500K" they said "okay, thank you very much" and hung up. I think it's a scam, i.e., I do not believe the call is for survey purposes, they have a hidden agenda.
Did not leave message.
Received my first call from this number just a few minutes ago. Received a call last night asking for my Daughter by name and it was Bank of America.
Today I had TimeWarner Cable removed so it could be them as another person stated.
Did not answer, but will put them in my system so CallSoft will just hang up. That is after I answer it on their next call.
They want to take a survey.
Man said he was calling for a survey, then asked "Could I please speak to....." mentioning my name, apparenlty dismissing any thought that it was an adult on the phone, so, I just hung up. Second time I have hung up on them! Who do they think I am, some little kid, my maid, the mailman....???

When I answered, woman on the end of the line asked for a registered voter in the household. I requested they please remove our number from their call list.
Calls from this number numerous times, six times to be exact. Latest so far is 9:38pm! Called number back and got a recording for Westernwats.com.

I answered… heard breathing… stayed on the line and after a minute or two a man said "hello?"
I said hello back and he immediately hung up.
I did not answer. I immediately googled the number while it was still ringing and found it was this survey mercenary called Western Wats. Glad I didn't answer.
It's a survey company and although they're exempt from the National Do Not Call registry they need to stop and realize people register on that list because they DON'T want to be disturbed. DUH!

This number has called me almost once a day for the past few weeks. I picked up today to find out who it was and there was total silence on the other end of the phone. I could hear someone breathing yet they never started speaking. Hung up and looked the number up on this site. Why would Suntrust Bank be making calls on weekends and after hours only to breathe? That is totally weird.
They called and said they were doing a customer satisfaction survey for SunTrust Bank. I told them would be kind of hard since we don't bank with them and never have. They are just calling whoever they want, it's not a customer service deal.

They called my house from this number: 801-823-2034. We said, "Hello? Hello? Guten Tag? Auf Wiedersehen!" Nobody answered. I dialed the same number from my cell phone to see if someone would pick up and answer, but a recording device at that number directed us to WesternWats.com It is a data-collecting, telemarketing agency.
Relax everyone. This company just does survey. Surveys are legal and do not fall under the Do Not Call (DNC) laws. I spoke with the rep at this company (Western Watts) and he was very honest and polite. He asked no personal questions. It was simply a customer service survey.

it seems to be a research organization my guess is a company that takes surveys or perhaps its just a teleamarketer. I think they take surveys and just ask a bunch of questions. They suggested a website called westernwats.com to learn more about them.

Western Wats called me. I answered and no one was there. I called the number back, and I got a recording that referred me westernwats.com. They are some kind of telephone survey company. Do not give your cell phone or home phone numbers to anyone on the Web.
