I ordered online from Fedex Kinkos yesterday, and today I received this phone call. I reported them to DoNotCall.gov since I'm on the Do Not Call list

I also had the fed ex/ kinkos scenario play out. I emailed my print job to them and they took my cell # to call me when it was ready. Now.I'm getting calls from Watts as well ON MY CELL. Not happy!

Call 801.373.7735. Hit "2" (which is actually given as the option to remove your name from their call list). Tell the person your number. Wait 24 hours. That's it.

And yes, FedEx Office / Kinko's sold your number, even though they will be clueless as to what you are talking about and will most likely emphatically deny doing so.

Had printing done at FedEx/Kinkos on 6-15-10, had a call with no message from this number on 6-19 and 6-20.

Received a call from this number, rep claimed to be with Suntrust Bank (which is not my bank.) Asking about recent Kinkos transaction. Told him that the amount he was talking about was not an amount of any Kinkos transaction I had requested. Probably was a survey, but I ended the call.

I have never been to FedEx/Kinkos. They did not leave a message.???

I fit the FedEx Office/Kinkos theory as well. Just picked up an order from them a week ago (first time in over a year).

I've gotten a call from this number several times the last few days. I don't use Kinko's...I do use Fedex but they don't have my home phone number....It's yet to ring my office.

I used the FedEx Kinko's office in New Orleans for some printing in March. Today I received a call from 801/823-2033 on my cell. I did not answer and no message was left. After finding this site I called FedEx and spoke to McKinzie in the "Kinko's area". She admitted that the calls were made as part of a customer survey program and offered to have my number removed from future contacts. I provided delisting information and expressed my my great disappointment that they disclosed personal information about me. To make your voice heard with FedEx, call 800/463-3339 and continue through the options till you get to ask for a representative. Then ask for the "Kinko's Office" department and let them know what you think. If we waste enough of their time, then the outside calls won't be worth it for them either. Good luck.

I as well had prints a Fed- Ex Kinkos and I am getting these annoying calls now.

I missed 2 calls from them today. No message. I haven't had any business with the companies mentioned but sounds like more then a few companies Western Watts.

I too had a Kinkos print job done yesterday. This number called and was silent on the other end. Let's see how long this annoyance lasts...

I also ran a small job @ FedEx Office 11/6/09 received a call from (801) 823-2033 today at 10:25am. Guess I'll block them with Google Voice.

3 calls in a row all on my cell phone. the third time i picked up, because i had checked out this site and saw that it was a company unrelated to fed-ex but had all my info from fed-ex... i told them they got my number unlawfully and they would be reported to the BBB if the calls continue, and hung up. i suggest everyone else here do the same....

Just spoke to Charles W A at Cablevision on Long Island 516-803-2300. He provided me with a "No call" number Cablevision has set up for the purpose of ending these sale calls. It is - 888-425-2088. It may take about a month to be come active. If you are as mad at Cablevision as I am (calling almost every day for many months and the one last night was 9 pm) call Charles W A at the 516 number above or go directly to the 888 number.

Hope they stop.

I received 2 missed calls from this number. It's Kinkos trying to take a customer satisfaction survey. Calm down everyone it's not that big of a deal and if it is to you then you should get a life!

I came home and seen I missed three calls from them today. No message on machine. I have not had any business with Kinkos or FedEx

Had Kinko's in Santa Cruz, CA do a print job on 8/31. Gave them my cell # so they could contact me when the job was done. I got 2 calls from 801-823-2033 today. I didn't answer as I usually don't with unfamiliar numbers. If they keep calling I will answer and tell them to take a hike! I am also going to file a complaint with Kinko's, as I think it is slimy.

Just got another call. This time it was a survey for Kinko's FedEx. Buggers, they know when I eat!

Had Kinko's in Minnetonka, MN run a small job for me on Monday of this week. When initiating the prints the service person asked that I give me contact info. I questioned it because they never do so when I'm waiting for prints. I was in a hurry so I complied. Then today, two days after the job was printed, I get this call from 801-823-2033. Rang once and hung up. Call it back and I get a piercing fax machine-sounding tone.

I had a call today, but they didn't leave a message. Like almost everyone else on this board, I had a print job done at Fedex Kinko's last week, but I never would have connected those dots.

Also had a Kinkos job a couple of weeks ago. They leave no message and no one is there. I guess because they have a "business relationship" they are technically off of DNC protocols. They have lost my business. Staples for me from now on.

I STRONGLY urge you to call the office of the CEO for any company that Western Wats may call you about. Let them know that invading the privacy of your home with unwanted phone calls is NOT the way to keep you as a customer. Point out that they don't need a parasite like Western Wats to get customer feedback, because when they get it wrong (like now) you'll let them know, for free. Tell them that while you realize Western Wats is technically exempt from the DNC list, you expect companies to respect the intent of the list, not to worm their way through a legal loophole. Point out that good customer service includes respect for the customers, and ignoring DNC status is VERY disrespectful of customers wishes.

Called today, no message, most likely Kinko's print job from last week.

No message left. I had a washer/dryer delivered from Home Depot a few days ago. Perhaps someone was following up with the delivery company (GE or Linnstar).

Another vote for Fedex/Kinko's....I had a job done on 5/4/09 and received the call today. No message.

Survey company, that my apartment complex contracted to. Operator was very nice when I said I could not take the call and offered to call back. I asked them to call back "later" and they did so I took the call the second time around.

Myself and fiance just signed up to Tmobile a few days ago, we're just new in the country, and have been bombarded with calls from some Western Watts survey company. We haven't given our number out to many people yet and Tmobile have completely washed their hands of this saying they don't sell our details to there companies. There is no other way anyone could have gotten our number

Missed call and no message. Surprise, surprise...just had a job done by Fedex/Kinko's yesterday.

This is definitely related to FedEx-Kinko's (could also be other companies). I had an issue with them calling me at all hours of the day/night, multiple times a day, for several days. It took awhile for even FedEx to admit they were associated with this. After assuring me last time I used them for a print job it would not happen again, I am getting the calls again after placing a print job a couple days ago.I called the number someone posted a few comments down, and requested that my number be added to their internal do not call list. Hopefully that works.

I answered the call. Was told it was a survey to see if I was satisfied with service. Then asked if I had recently done a transaction at ..... they said the name of my bank! I told the female on the other end of the line that I did not confer personal business over the phone and hung up. I have not been to Kinko's so that wasn't related to my call. I have caller ID that shows on my TV screen. It said Utah and the number 801-823-2033. No Fed EX either.

Second call today from this number. I recently had a job order performed at FedEx/Kinkos too.

I answered the phone, said hello 3 times,and then heard the disconnect. When I called the message said it was Western Watts about a survey.

Was not home when phone rang.

Yes, it seems to be FedEx Kinkos. Nobody is ever on the other end of the line, and they keep calling back every day. I have tried to call their Customer Relations number to be removed and they sometimes admit to the calls and sometimes not.

I just got a call from 801-823-2033 for the first time ever, and I also sent a print job to Kinko's only 2 days ago, also first time ever!!! The connection seems quite clear, right?

Yeah, FedEx/Kinkos is the company they identify themselves with, whoever they are. They thought they were talking to a real person and not my answering machine and blurred a message identifying themselves with FedEx/Kinkos. It tracks to what others said since I just picked up a print job from them last week. It's unsolicited, and the third party survey comments others have made, track. I suspect it's an off-shore operation. I guess I'll take my print jobs back to Staples.

I just got a call from this number too, first time AFAIK. The Kinkos/Fed Ex theory could be correct; I just went to Kinkos last week, the first time in years.

Received a call from 801 823-2033. Wanted to do a survey about my recent experience with Kinkos. I phoned Fedex-Kinkos. They told me, they DO NOT give out phone numbers. Did some further research. I didn't answer. Machine picked up after three rings, I could hear a female voice in the background responding to my message, and then disconnected before any message was recorded.

I got the same call. Posts at http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-801-823-2033 figured out that this seems to be a fedex/kinko's survey. I also just sent a job to kinko's last week....

After calling back 3 times it finally told me the name of the company "Western Watts" which is some sort of independant marketing research company.

when this number calls, it sounds as if there is someone in the background shuffling papers. i keep saying "hello" but the papers keep shuffling and no one ever answers. my son thinks someone's cell phone accidentally got dialed while in their pocket. does that sound plausible? and always the same number?

This number keeps calling all hours of the day and night, no one is ever there.

Called back the number and the recording identified it as a "survey" company whose research influences companies and politians

I answered the call, but no said anything on the other end....
