Recording of a woman/computerized voice inviting you to go online and complete a survey. C'mon man!

Caller Id showned phone number twice. Voice on phone appeared to be young female, (Highschooler?), saying they were doing a survey of some sort about general things (?). I pointed out I was on the Do Not call list, which should have been the end of it. Instead, I was asked: So, you're not going to help us with this survey? This is similar to call I received a month or so back. They claimed I was in the running for one of three prizes. They then wanted the answer to a few questions. I foolishly let them go on for a while and they asked a number of questions that were margainal. The call ended abruptly when they asked which bank I did business with. I asked why they would need that information and was informed their boss just wanted all the info he could get. Very creepy feeling about that call...and this one.

on 1-10-2012 received call from 801-823-2028 and 2031 i answered caller said Jason from opinion apology want my views of problems facing are country these days i said no and you got the wrong number

report them to the dont call list, i am on it so i shouldnt be getting these.

Just called me tonight at 8:45 pm. Said they wanted to do a 2 minute survey for Petco. I told them no thanks.

They just called me, and did not even say the name of their company, just asked me if I made a recent purchase at a store. I felt like it was type of scam to figure out more information about me. It told them I did not want to participate, they tried to talk me into it. I asked for the name of their company, the contact address, owner name and phone number and they hung up on me.

9:00 pm and 10:07 pm received from Ogden, Utah. Also last 4 numbers of 2033 at 9:24 pm and 10:02. Call listed Delaney A with last 4 number was 2031 first six numbers were same. How inconsiderate can a business be? How low can one go?

Ceaseless calls at all hours of the day and night. No message, no pitch. Just harassment. CUT THESE JERKS OFF!!!!

Notice they left themselves a loophole in the DNC laist. Any politician who does mot respect my wish to not be called doesn't deserve my vote. Maybe if folks got off thier asses and made this clear less politicians would engage in this BS.

2nd spam call from 'polling' place today

This is NOT a political organization, it is a business that does telephone opinion cold-calling for their clients. Even if their clients happen to be a political group/candidate OR a charity, THEY ARE NOT EXEMPT FROM FEDERAL DO-NOT-CALL LAWS!

File a complaint with the FTC, and buy a phone that will let you block calls by number.

I did pick up on the call to play some games with them but all I got was a dead line. May be an indication of the type of call it was. If this was a surveyor like some comments have stated then they do not have to comply with the do not call regulations. However I'm current working with one of my State legislators to craft a bill that would prevent calls from surveyors, political groups, and non-profits from calling people that have listed their numbers on the national do not call list. Other states have done this and it has passed the straight face test in the courts. The Federal laws do not specifically preempt States from creating laws such as this. Hope this works as the quiet phone would be nice especially around election time.

Every night around 6 to 7 pm my phone rings from these annoying idiots. I just filed an electronic complaint form at esupport.fcc.gov as I am so sick of these

5/6/11 at 7:08am, caller id said unknown. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Calling the number only gets a recorded message saying they are Western Wats doing surveys for a variety of industries, not just political. Then you get referred to their web site which I won't advertise here. I have no intention of going there myself.

If you see a number that is not identified and/or you do not recognize, DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. If you do, the caller will know that it is a "live" number. Use the protection that Caller ID provides and do not answer. Legitimate callers will leave a message.

Multiple calls and no message when the answering machine kicks in...

Political calls are exempt from the do not call lists - both federal and state. Filing complaints doesn't do anything because they are not breaking the current laws. However, if you pick up the phone and ask them to put you on their internal do not call list, they will most likely comply. Unfortunately, it won't stop other candidates and political groups from calling. I've personally found calls coming directly from political candidates organizations to be the most compliant. The third party groups are the worst.

Unfortunately if they are doing certain types of polling and calls they are exempt from the do not call list!

They call all the time and they called after 9:00PM!

They are Western Wats - a survey organization. Referred me to westernwats.com

Got a call on my cell phone the other day. Check out the number and it belongs to "Trust Partners.com" in Utah, a division of WesternWats.com I believe.. I guess they are a bunch of crooks or something since the are using my cell phone minutes that I paid for, a number also that is on the Do No Call List. Will report this number to both State and Federal Authorities and hopefully they will fine them the $10,000.00 per call they have made to numbers on the do not call list. I am billing them for the $5.00 at the following address:

I hope those, from now on, that receive a call from these folks send them an invoice for your time and if it is on your cell phone advise your carrier, as well as send a letter or email to your State Attorney General regarding the Do No Call List. Also, send one to the Federal "Do No Call List" filing a complaint in order to put a stop to these crooks.

You have to send them an e-mail and tell them you want to Opt out of their calling list, because you do not anwser out of area calls anyway, so it's not going to do them any good to call you.

Getting several calls an evening from this number. It comes up "unknown name" on caller ID. No messages ever left. Oh well. Do not owe anyone any money, so I assume it's a solicitor or scam of some type.

They keep calling, but won't leave a message

They call my phone but never leave a message... I never answer...

CALLS DONT LEAVE A MESSAGE

This number has called several times yesterday and today. The number showed up six times last weekend. I picked up a couple times, but there was no voice on the other end

Called on 2/16/2009, area code 801 is Utah, i did not answer and they did not leave a message.

Called 3 times...each time saying they were taking a transportation survey. Asked who she represented; she replied that they had several clients. On the other two times, we told them we were not interested.

Never leaves a message. I never bother to pick up.

Call on 11/02/2008 at 5:30pm. A survey for Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Call came in at 6:09 pm on 10/20/08. Reverse phone look-up on whitepages.com says it's an unpublished number in Utah. Telemarker I'm sure. :-p

Call was on 10/13/08 at 8:35 pm. All it said was Utah call.
