How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

was outside heard phone ran to pick up -they hung up when I did- this has happened before constant calls-and hang up
I live in Ohio. My phone rang at 10pm 04/10/10. I looked at the caller ID & chose not to answer it said "Voter Poll". Well Praise the Lord my landline is AT & T so I logged into the member center & blocked this number !!!! Now they will NEVER get through........... YES !!!! Another one I got before I blocked it was "PROVEST LLC: a 947 area code out of Texas......... Kudos to AT & T for the "block" mode.
Recorded message said "option Survey. Call received and 8:43 PM
Did not answer, they did not leave message, but caller ID indicated Salt Lake City, UT.
Approximately two weeks now I receive a call be it after PM est or AM from this number. I do not answer, and my
caller ID displays it as being "Voter Roll Call."
I saw the caller ID, picked up, and said, "I'm on the state and national DO NOT CALL lists - what the hell do YOU want," at which, they promptly hung up. >:-( I'm calling them back, now.

801 618 2074 called today. A robo call. My household had been "scientifically selected" to respond to a 2 minute survey about important topics. I hung up.
I have received this call the last two days. They don't leave a message and I don't know who is calling???
