How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Recd call from Christina Brown AT&T employee Badge #2022, with the Upgrades Department. When I asked if she was acutally an AT&T employee or did she work for a company that contracted with AT&T. She started with hello, hello can you hear me??? and then hung up. If you call At&T no employee or department. Beaware, only recourse is to file a nunice complaint with FTC. Get names, and as much information as you can. Together we can shut these people down. No one else is going to do it. Unless of course they call a US Senators private home...haaaaaaaaaaa!
I just did a search, and other sites have numerous reports that this number belonged to some scam travel company last year, and now it appears to be AT&T nazis. There are many reports of the operators (who speak English as a second or third language) being rude and insulting and even threatening. One poster said after she cursed at them and hung up, the number called her back and said some very nasty things to her. This proves it's not a telemarketing system, because they can't do that. It's actual people making the calls, so beware. I'm not answering it anymore.
We get this one at least every other day. I've answered, but do not remember getting a response. Not even a machine recording or anything when I say hello to try to set off the voice activator on their recording. I don't know what the deal is.
I have been receiving calls from this number for weeks on a daily basis, when I answer I get no response. So I decided to look the number up and I am seeing so many complaints about this one number and NOTHING is being done... WTF??? Why can't someone find out what phone company the number is from and call them about it? Who can call out from a landline and have it set up to be disconnected to anyone that calls back? Thats a phone company error. This is BS.
