my hell 4 calls per day how do i stop this i owe nobody anything even my mortgage is paid off

Was not home, they did not leave a message.

800-998-5000 calls me at least once/day EVERY day. Today is Sunday & they just called for the 2nd time. By law they cannot call greater than 2 times per week, after 8:PM or on Sunday. In Massachusetts that is a $500 fine per event. Looking forward to my cell phone bill that will show each of these calls; a few after 8:PM, at least a few more than twice a week & today's 2 Sunday calls. Not that I owe any money, but it's fun getting back at the assholes who kicked me when I was down. LET'S KICK BACK!!! THEFED.ORG

They keep leaving a message for someone called Argentina Otero. They say to call back to take your name of the list. Yeah, right.

I callled the number and they said that they are collecting money for a vehicle that I have insured through country financial, the vehicle isn't on the insurance anymore, they haven't even sent anything in the mail about this.

I just got called by this number and then googled the phone number. This is the site I saw first. The number 800-998-5000 belongs to a collection agency working for Farmers insurance. I called the number back and talked with someone. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY!! insurance companys normally dont have you sign a contract saying you will keep the insurance for a period of time (like for example a cell phone company) so when you dont pay, the insurance gets canceled...end of story you dont owe the insurance company any money for canceling or not paying. this collection company is bogus and the only reason to call people (like us) is to try and scam us. Insurance companys have to tell the state DMVs who had insurance then who doesnt anymore (like when you cancel or stop paying). someone is finding this information and using it to call people (like us).

Hi this company called and said that I owed them for a past due bill. But when I asked them for the address they couldn't give me their address and was missing the apartment number on mine. Something seemed fishy and now that I know they are scamming I can't wait for them to call back so I can ask some questions.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT BILL THAT IT IS AND ANYMORE ATTEMPTS TO CALL THE NUMBER THAT U HAVE WILL ALSO FAIL UNLESS THE NAME OF YOUR PLACE SHOWS UP ON THE CALLER ID { ALL CALLS ON THIS NUMBER ARE BEING SCREENED BEFORE ANYONE ANSWERS THE PHONE

they called me three or four times day and leave no message...i don't what know what they want and i can't talk to any one..they won't pick up the phone..

it's credit collection services. but even after paid they continued calling so I dont know how legitimate they are

This company calls me at work on my work cell phone number. Says it is regarding a personal business matter with SallieMae. SallieMae says my account is current. These calls have been reported to the better business bureau and the consumer protection agency.

Credit Collection Services calling about bill from Farmers Insurance for cancelled coverage. Also calls from 866-945-4973 and 800-326-6400. Leaves message.

stop descrimination so the usa economy would improve, and people would be able to pay back when

what is the matter with the fcc, ftc and bbb in controling these telemakter from calling your number when you are on the do not call list, quess the govt can not do their job like they such

CCS just called me. I returned the call but they were closed. I can't positively identify them through a google search, but I did find a link to a court case against CCS where they "defrauded consumers nationwide through the deceptive telemarketing of credit cards and lines of credit for an up-front fee". I probably shouldn't have returned the message... ftc.gov

This is a credit collections agency. They will ask for payment via check or credit card over the phone.

Who is CCS and why are they bothering me? They say they are not a telemarketing co. but they don't say what they do want during an automated message.
