there are some marketing( sales ) agancy , or just somebody trying to still money from us. I found out after I called them back but using VoIP number not from my cell ohone. So don't answer if they call again.
They call my cell at least twice a day. There is never anyone on the line. Very annoying.
I got this missed phone call several times. I finally answered it once, but there was no response. It is same as the message posted above me. It is very annoying. We need to find a way to block it.
After seeing this number a few times as a "Missed Call" I finally answered it. I said "hello?" and there was no response, just dead air. Now I regret answering the phone after Googling this number :(
I guess I'll have to find out how to have it blocked because I don't want my phone ringing at all hours of the day!
Did not leave a message and caller ID just showed the phone number 12:09pm 4/4
we also just refinanced our home and have begun getting calls from this number. i haven't spoken with anyone yet, but it is pretty obvious from everyone else's comments who this is and why they are calling.
Was a call from Orion Marketing on behalf of CitiMortgage's Welcome Program. I was skeptical at first and didn't give any information. He asked how the transfer process went and then connected me to a CitiMortgage CS rep. I didn't give CitiMortgage any information either as I wasn't sure if it was a scam, but it turned out to be legit. My only worry would be that Orion Marketing doesn't hang up when they say they will and may have a record of sensitive data.
If they offer to transfer you, I suggest you call the number they are transferring you to directly and do some research to make sure it's legit!
i've received a call from this number the last two days in a row. both times, i have called back and it says orion marketing, and a rep will be with you soon, and then nothing happens. we also refinanced with citimortgage, and after reading some notes others posted about it being a possible scam to get info, i am so glad that i didn't answer the phone.
Called the number, it is Orion Marketing. Asked them to remove me from their call list, they said no problem. We'll see.
Called every day for weeks with no message. One day I called back and got an Orion Marketing message. Finally answered and he said he was from a bank about a mortgage product. Sounds like a call service to do marketing for a variety of firms, but annoying nonetheless. I expect they'll stop calling now that I've answered.
They called and did not leave message
i just applied for a mortgage refi with PNC Bank in VA area
i called the number back and it did say Orion Marketing and "wait for a rep"
did not feel like waiting for a rep - i would have yelled at them anyways
they called my cell which is on every do not call list there is (FED and VA State list)
They call once or twice per day on my cell phone. Never leave a message.
These people call almost everyday and about twice each day. My number was registered on the do not call list over year ago. But I am still recieving the calls. I re-registered again last week. Sounds like they still are in the operation of harassing people. I filed a omplaint today we will see.
No Message.
They call on a regular basis
This number has called me a few times in the last month or so.
Just got a call from this #, no voice mail. If I remember right, I think i've seen this # in the past. How annoying...
called twice today. no messages left. called back and got nothing.
Called me I answere. Said he wanted to get me a better home load. gave him my rate and that it was fixed. He hung up. I plan to do the same from these from now on.
If you are registered on the do not call list- then go to donotcall.gov & register a complaint for every time they call (even if it's 3 times a day). I did this, and within a week the phone calls stopped. If your not registered, go to the same site- register & after 30 days- you can start filing complaints.
Got a call from Joe Johnson, and that he was a representative from CitiMortgage. I asked him if his employer was CitiMortgage and he tried to change the subject to confirm any loan info with CitiMortgage. After asking him again if his employer was CitiMortgage, he said yes. I told him that I did not believe him and he then he hung up on me. I called the return number and got Orion Mrktng.
These jerks called my cell phone at 9 p.m.!! Recently bought a home but did not use BofA. Ended up with Citimortgage. Called back at got a recorded voice that said "Welcome to Orion Marketing, please hold while you are connected with a representative" but nothing happened, and I was afraid it was one of those scams that entices you to call back what you think is a toll free number but actually charges you an outrageous pre minute fee. I'm just ignoring these jerks and will hope they go away very very soon.
Orion Marketing Spam/Scam
I received a call stating they were from CitiMortgage and was calling to welcome us and did we have any issues that customer service could help with. I did talk with a person in customer service and unfortunately I did give out some vital information. After wards is when I realized I may have been fell into their scam.
I get called at least once per day and it's been happening for the last couple of weeks. I usually just ignore the call, but today I picked up and didn't say anything and some lady said "Hello" and then I hung up. Next time they call I'll actually try to find out who they are and what they want.
Recently got a HELoC (Home Equity Line of Credit) from BofA, been receiving this phone call for the last couple of days, on my Cell!!! Not cool. Rings twice then hangs up. Rrrrr!
They keep calling my cell 'phone, but I won't answer. They don't leave messages. They've called 2-3 times a day for 5 days or so.
They have been calling me several times a day but when I answer there's no one there and they never leave a message. When I called back (most times) the recording says "Orion Marketing" and puts me on hold to wait for a rep. So, 3 times this week I have called back and told them to take my number off their list. This seemed to prompt even more calls. Today (5/18/07) I called and spoke to "Robert Martinez" who is the supervisor (supposedly) and he said he'd take my number off the list himself. I got a call 1/2 hour after he told me this (another hang-up). If there is legal action being taken, I'd like to know more about it.
called today. when i answered i heard a male voice. i just hung up...........
I don't answer, but when I call back, the recording saying Orion Marketing and to hold for a person at which point I hang up. I also filled out a home equity loan app. from Bank of America. I didn't complete it, but it did warn on the site that even if you start the application and don't finish it, a representative may contact you. Now that I've read what others wrote re: B of A, I bet that's it.
They called me 3-5x a day for about a week... when I called back they would say it was Orion Marketing and that a rep would be with me - no one ever picked up. FINALLY I got through and they said they were an answering service for several mortgage lenders. I told them to put me on their do not call list. However, right before the calls started, I DID apply for a home equity line of credit with my BofA. Are they selling our numbers??? >=(
called did not say where they where from asked for me I juist said they where not here they ung up with no info left I call back number and says all cercist are busy
I called back the number and they said they're ORION Marketing a calling center...did not specifically said how they got my work number!
No clue who this is.. still keep calling!
This makes three days in a row this number has called, never leaving a message. Maybe they'll give up soon, although I'm not counting on it.
Tampa FL
Got this call at least once a day at the same time around noon everyday-so annoying... It rang twice and then cut off! When I recognize this number of course, I didn't answer it. I believe this is a telemarketing call...

They call my number at least twice a day and don't leave a message. I tried calling back the number but nothing happens.
Said they were from Bank of America, calling about my internet inquiry regarding mortgage refinance. Well, we are in the process of refinancing with B of A, but are working with real, live local loan officer & have not done anything online. I was leaving for the office & gave them my work number. The guy said he would call me there in 20 minutes, but never did. I suspect a scam and will not be answering if they call again.
