i received a call from a man named will anderson i don't know how he got my number. but he was calling getting information from me. he stated that the was with car loan surperb. i would like someone to let me know first why he called and why he wanted to get some information from me. i could barely understand him because his accent was so deep. i am not on the do not call list but i do want to be on there from this point on.

I to am on the national do not solicate list. This number called me stating I was approved for a 500.00 Pay Day loan. They got all of my info including checking acct and now I am seeing charges on my acct.

They call me I had applied for cash advance on line at the place they named. Like a fool I gave them personal info what should I do. My credit is not good anyhow do to an ex hhusband. So after reading these comments I am worried.

This man called and said his name was Edwin LaGray and that I had been chosen for a $1500 cash advance. This took place after him calling me 6 times in one day.

This number called my cell phone over twenty times in four days. I don't understand why they are still kicking. Will report to Louisiana Attorney General.

Then asked if I had a checking account, the catch was you get a free digital camera and 3/2 vacations anywhere you want to go. Fine print: you had to pay $1.95 for shipping and handling and needed your account number. Well I passed on that one, needed the cash advance most places require you to be on the job 3 months. Oh, by the way her name is Carol Jacobs (alisas).

HE STATED I WAS QUALIFIED FOR A CASH ADVANCE OF $1500. HE ASKED ME PERSONAL QUESTIONS ABOUT MY RESIDENCE,PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT,BANKING INFO AND STATED THAT A LOAN OFFICER ASSOCIATED WITH CASH ADVANCE MUTUAL WOULD CALLED ME BACK TO GIVE ME AN APPROVAL ON A $500.00 CASH ADVANCE. AFTER 20 MINUTES INTO THE CALLED I HAD A FEELING THAT THIS WAS NOT A LEGITIMITE CALL. IT WAS TOO LATE --- THEY HAD MY PERSONAL INFORMATION. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL TROUBLES AND MAY BE VUNERABLE TO PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION TO GAIN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. I keep receiving phone calls on my cell. I reported it and since so I have received three more calls from the same number. 800-441-6858 This time I got the name of the company( Majesty Cruise Lines) After speaking with the supervisor I thought it would stop. What can be done. Thanks Joe

-One person mentioned that they might be stationed in Zaire.

-If the cat is finally out of the bag, admit defeat and ask them something like "How many people have fallen for this scam?" or "Do you get all the money from this scam or does your 'supervisor' take most of it from you?" or even "How many of you are there?" or "Okay, I give up, where did you REALLY get my information from?"

-IF THEY KNOW YOU WON'T GIVE THEM ANY MONEY, YOU'RE OFF THEIR AUTOMATED LIST.

HOW TO GET A FEW STEPS CLOSER TO NABBING THESE GUYS

-When you receive a call from them, say "hello" calmly a few times. If this doesn't work, try being completely silent. Hopefully you will not get disconnected.

-Act calm and falsify any information they ask about. Do not yell at them or threaten them. This will just get you laughed at or disconnected.

-Delay the conversation with casual comments to try to gain the person's trust, then ask very simple questions, like "What time is it?" or "How's the weather where you are?" Take small steps to asking questions and make note of the person's voice, but especially background voices - they're more likely to disclose information. If you can record the conversation, that will help you out.

-They love getting at the SSN, so tease them for as much information as you can get before giving it away completely. Rattle off a few fake digits and then say you need to find your card, or something.

Could somebody please post the most offensive phrase in Hindi/Urdu to say a man and a woman. Please post it phonetically. I know there's many more languages in India, so perhaps something generally that would be understood. Thanks!

If you check with the BBB another company comes up. Here is the address so you can shove the phone into where the sun don't shine. They been harrassing me too. I just got a call from this number as well, they call my house everyday and when I call it back, I get a busy signal, WHO ARE THEY?

I got two calls from them on a Saturday morning. I let them listen to my answering machine.

Should clairify my last post on here. I looked up the number given for smartadvertisingsolutions.com , and then chose to make the long-distance call required to get a human being. I left messages while they were out for the weekend, and flooded their voicemail system with my messages. THEN Matt Olson contacted me back on Monday around noon. After being advised that I had filed multiple complaints with the donotcall registry, and the Federal Trade Commission, Matt Olson was only too happy to help me resolve this issue! I contacted Matt Olson, in quality assurance, at smartadvertisingsolutions.com. After leaving MULTIPLE voice mail messages, over the weekend, Matt Olson called me back. He was only way tooooo happy to remove my number from the call list. It was effective immediately, and after 1 week, I still have not received another annoying call from this number! Keeping my fingers crossed, though. Try my solution, maybe it will work for you also.

Its 9pm on 8/8/07...These annoying idiots called my # at least 20 times during the day alomost everyday. I have pleaded with them to remove my # (they arent even calling for anyone who lives at my home!) and when I ask to speak to a supervisor, you can hear laughing in the background...like its a joke or game. Three Calls from Unified Services in the past 6 hours. One Hang up, One asked for me by name then hung up, then there was Nancy. The third call was from a moderately Indian accented female caller who called herself "Nancy". Without identifying myself, I asked who she was representing and she told me "United Services." I advised Nancy that I had filed a complaint with the FCC regarding calls from her call center and that she is in violation of federal telecommunications law. She insisted on speaking to Mr. Finegan. I continued apprising her of the FCC complaint and gererously offered to provide her with the complaint number for her records, still, she insisted on speaking to Mr. Finegan. She just didn't seem to get it! I think I finally got through to her when I promised her that if she EVER called my home again that I would hunt her down like a dog and personally and with great relish proceed to stuff her phone where the sun don't shine. (or words to that effect.) Could you believe it, She hung up without even wishing me a good afternoon. How unprofessional.

what a waste of time & money

I have been receiving calls from this number for months. They don't call every day, but when they do, I get 5 to 6 calls within 10 minutes of each other. It must be computer generated, because no one ever answers. I was told to register a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General's office, because that is where the calls are supposed to be originating.

This number has called repeatedly 3 to 5 times each evening. The line is always dead, no sound, buzz or anything. This has been going on for several weeks.

And let the calls begin again. They stopped for like a 2 weeks but starting today they started coming again. They have called 8 times since 10:30a

Addition: I went to a new site, manta.com, which allows you to look up businesses all over the country. When I looked up United Lending, nothing came up. When I looked up AEGIS lending, multiple numbers came up all over the country, a couple right next to me. I started calling the numbers, and after I called about 6 different numbers around the country, they are all disconnected or no longer in service. I also looked up US lending, and it gave this info.:

Okay, here is the scoop. I keep getting all the damn calls from this no.--8009681876. When the answering machine turns on, they hang up. When I return the call, it is always busy. So, I decided to google the # and found this site with the same complaints. I started googling both companies names, United Lending and US Lending. Both companies' numbers are not in service, which, I'm sure alot of you found out, too. Now, here is the other thing that I found out. If you google United Lending Corp, a different lending company repeatedly shows up by the name of AEGIS Lending. I didn't pay any attention to it at first, but, I will get back to that. I then found the website for United Lend., which is unitedlending.com. It is one of those websites you go to to find prepaid, prepay, advance cash loans, etc. But, it has no way of contacting them. I then did a reverse search for United Lending on superpages.com using there address only, not there name. It brings up a listing of all the companies listed at that address. The company AEGIS Lending is one of those companies, and, when you try to call it, the call won't go through. It repeatedly says all circuits are busy. I could be wrong, but, my guess is that they are one in the same. I reported the calls to the FTC and donotcall sites. Hopefully the calls stop.

I have been calling the number for the business that this # is supposed to be connected to. It is smartadvertisingsolutions.com ...... I have been pushing 4 which connects you to Matt Olson's voice mail. Matt Olson is quality control. I called, left a crappy message, then hung up and immediately called back and did the same thing. I have done this for the past hour. I figure that if his voicemail doesn't fill up from it, I will at least make his Monday a very crappy one!

I am on the do-not-call list, and I also have a law enforcement block on my phone. (My immediate family is in law enforcement.) I was told by the Operator that this was a scam computer calling to see at what times people answer their phones. ... Which really pisses me off, since I answer the phone no matter what time it is, in case of a law enforcement emergency! They are calling me at least every 15 minutes. We need our representatives to do something about this bull crap!

800-968-1875 has called in a one day period at least 15 times. They call and let the phone ring once. I have spoken to about three people and told them I will report their business. One representative said their name was America Financial.

They called again... twice just since my last report. This time I decided to play along and acted like I was the person they were asking for. The person I spoke to identified himself as Vang (I think; thick accent) from United Lending Corp. (I asked him to repeat that 3x to be sure). After he told me that I was prequalified for a cash advance, I told him that I had previously told them to place me on their do not call list, the person they were calling was not here, and if they called again then I would sue them. He apologized and said he'd take care of it and hung up. The call ended at 8:25 PM PDT on 7/29/07. Adding this as public proof of the event. WM2777

They call my cell phone hourly. If I answer, they either hang up or ask for someone not at this number (same name every time). If I tell them that, they hang up and call back later. If I ask for a supervisor or not to call back, they hang up and call back later. If I ignore them, they keep calling.

When this number called my home it showed up on the caller ID as Toll Free Call and when I said HELLO i got no responce so i said HELLO about 3 more times then I said if you call back I will get you!

I've started getting calls from these people as well. So far, it averages about 8-10 calls per day. So far, this Sunday I've gotten 5 since 10AM. It's now 12:40 pm. His name is shane Quint he's the manager and president of this situation 1-800-207-1983 x 4228 you can call him to have you removed off the list.

I am at work and have gotten 17 calls in 2 hours from these jerks.

When I answered, they finally responded and said they were United Lending Co. I told them to stop calling me or I would turn them in to the FTC... he quickly said, no problem, you are off the list.

I am repeatedly getting calls from this number. I have 25 missed calls on my phone since 7/2, and that is all the farther back my cell phone stores them. Sometimes there are three or four in a row. I have the same problem with this number...It calls, and when I answer, it hangs up after about 3 seconds. When I call back, it's busy.

I get multiple hang up calls from this phone number daily (at least 5 times each day), and just added my cell phone number to the National Do Not Call Registry. I'm hoping that the calls stop after the 31-day period stated on the Registry website....
As I was writing this, they called again, but this time I actually got to speak with a live person who said that I was pre-qualified for a cash adavance through United Lending Corporation. I immediately stated that I had registered my cell phone number with the National Do Not Call Registry, and asked why he was calling, because his company was not being compliant to the U.S. law regarding the Do Not Call list. He proceeded to still offer me the cash advance! I interupted him to say that I had lodged a complaint and to take my number from his company's list. Then I hung up!

I have requested that this number quite/stop calling me over 7 times and they continue to call. Generally I hear a mans voice say" hello" after I say hello then it goews to a voice recording. I am on a do not call list and I want these calls STOPPED IMMEDIATELY!!!

This is the number of United Lending Corporation. This is a payday loan company and a company that claims you are approved for an auto loan. The call center is apparently not in the United States.

Everyone needs to file a complaint with the FTC and list thier number on the DO NOT CALL registry. I Did!!!

I kept getting these calls at my WORK number. Thye asked for someone that I did not know and then they went on and on about this great offer for $1500 cash and a car loan. I told the foreign sounding lady that I was not interested (they did not car that I was not the one they called for originally)and that this was a work number and not to ever call me again. I am so glad I found this site I finally took a chance and typed in this number today and found out I am not alone. They have called four times today (it is only 2:00). I couldn't really understand the guy because he had a very thick foreign accent. He was asking me to verify some information and then he asked for my SS#. I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving out that information, especially since I had never heard of this company. I said that if they really wanted my info then give me the web address and I would do it myself. He said that I was approved for a $1500.00 loan and it would be in my checking account within 24 hours. He told me that his verification department would be calling me to verify my routing #, account #, and personal information such as drivers license # and social. I did receive that call and all the information they had on me was correct. I was then told to wait for a call from someone who would explain the terms and conditions of the loan to me but that never happened. Needless to say there was no money in my account the next day and I have no idea what was done with my information. I've tried calling the number back but all I get is a busy signal. I spoke to one person and I asked for a URL and she said carloans.com. That is a valid site, but not for them. The company that site belongs to has no affiliation with this number.

Every time they call and we answere, they hang up right away. I was told I was approved for a cash loan one week ago, and still haven't recieved my money.

It is not likely any "law enforcement" agency is going to help us out. They are too busy being busy to deal with little stuff like this. So, I propose we hit the bastards where it hurts them most. Every time they get an incoming call on their toll free number they are charged a fee by their telephone company. So, if we all just call their 866-904-7796 number time after time, hang up after 10 seconds or so to make certain they get hit for the connect fee, after a while their incoming toll call costs will start going up. They have to pay the fee or lose their telephone line, their life blood.

They are a government agency that works with the FBI, FCC, and White Collar Crimes division. You have to spend a few minutes filing out an online form, but it is worth it. Even if you did not loose money with this company, which I did not, you can still file a complaint with the ic3. You can type exactly what your complaint is about, which mine was on the non stop harassing phone calls I keep getting on my cell phone, which I have to pay for!!! Please everyone, file complaints with as many agencies as you can find. Maybe if they get enough complaints they will do something about it.

correction to previous entry: 94truth.com is the number that keeps calling me

It is ridiculous! They call twice every thirty minutes. My phone plan blocks all calls from numbers such as this but this one keeps on popping up. If they ever leave a voice mail it is an automated dialing machine telling me to press one. They called me, why should I press one?

I have been receiving the same calls, when I answered, a guy identified himself as Greg and said he was from National Lending Corporation.

I recievd like six calls from this 800-968-1875 number roughly 5 minutes apart. When I answer the phone I dont get any response. I feel like is harassment or maybe the gov't doing something sneaky.LOL

They called my phone and hang up when I answer, finally after the 10th call they waited and a guy said that I was pre approved for a loan for 2000 dollars and said that he needs a little more information, I hung up on him

Nothing but hang ups.. as of 11:45 am they have called 14 times.

This number is calling 5 times in 20 minutes. Pick it up and nobody is there. I am listed on the National Do Not Call list.

I've received approximately a dozen calls from this number within the last 24 hours. When I try to answer the call they hanh up. When I try to call the number back I get a busy signal. Who the hell is this?!

I have received many calls from that number today on my cell phone. No one speaks when I answer and then they hang up. When I try calling back there is a busy line.

800-968-1875 calls every 2 minutes for 30 minutes and all day long on and off, and when we answer, there is no one there. Tried calling back the number and get a busy signal. Did a search and the phone number listed in the search is no longer in use. What can we do to stop these anoying calls.

Just got a call from this number. Answered and they said they were confirming some "Acclaim" Debit Card I had registered for and they needed my information. I told them I hadn't applied for any card and he argued with me for about 10 minutes before I finally told him to cancel the card please. After that, he quickly said "Ok, bye." and hung up. Pretty sure this is a scam.

I think this number is also connected to 1-559-291-9191 the same thing happens. They call you say hello and they hang up. You try to call both numbers back and they are busy.......

There is a webisite that shows you how to get rid of these annoying people for free, they dont ask you to register or nothing, go to adviceontime.com they have a lot of useful info. hope this works for you too.

FYI...if you are on the DO NOT CALL LIST...for more than 31 days let them know that you will file a compliant at donotcall.gov and that they are subject to $11,000 fine. That should stop the calls.

This number called me three times yesterday, a Sunday, and three times today. Yesterday I answered twice. Twice they asked for some lady named Shameeka (or something like it), and after I say "no," I try to explain that there isn't anybody at the number with that name, they've already hung up. I think it's some kind of debt collector and the person who had my cell number last had credit problems. Anyways, I didn't answer today and won't anymore.

This number called me on 4/15/07 5 times in less than an hour and I am getting sick of it.

Hello, all. I bring the reported calls up to 473. This is really annoying. They started calling me yesterday- saying nothing, of course. I've only given this cell number to the daycare center and a few relatives, so I usually don't even look at the Caller ID. Guess I'll have to start doing that, now.

Called at least every 10minutes today regarding verify a credit card application the was done on line. Explained I did not apply and to not call back. Recieved another phone call asked them for the name of their company and phone number and they hung up.

This number called my cell phone twice, first time asked for Jolan, or something, and the second time they just hung up. It was very annoying as I was at work.

I hope I fixed the problem. I called the telephone company (which is a cable service) and they told me to dial *49. I was able to block the number. I hope for a long time. The telephone company said it's a computer that is dialing the numbers. What ever happened to real people? We have been replaced by a stuped computer.

I got a call from this number on 03/30/2007 At 5:22 pm! It came on my cell phone caller id! When i said i was on the DNCL (Do Not Call List) they were very rude! When I called , it was busy? NO 1 Seems To Know This Number!

These people call a few times a day, never answer. Well after 4 or 5 calls just today i finally answered. They asked for my roomate who was at work. told them what time he got off(for all i knew it could be a collector) then in an hour they called 4 more times. so i looked up the number..now i'm just waiting for them to call..i'm going to have some fun with them :)

I recieved numerous phone calls from 1-800-968-1875, when I would answer the phone and say hello, I would get hung up on. I tried to call the number back, busy signal. The last call i recieved, i answered the phone and said nothing for a few seconds. To my suprise someone actually was on the line. He begain to tell me how I was approved for some loan or something. I explained to him with a serious tone in my voice that I was not interested and did not appreciate the number of calls i had recieved from them. I instructed him that I did not want to recieve anymore calls from this number, and that if I did I would be forced to take action. That was the last that I have heard from them. To anyone going thru this right now I would urge you to try the method listed above. I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER NOW!

To warn you all. That is an infidelity private investigations. I had received the calls at work, home and cell. No lending company has my cell number. That is why they are so rude on the phone. If you actually get through. They must have different numbers too because I get other 800 calls as well.

When i first answer the call I told the guys I wasn't intrested and he kept pushing for my information. I told him I was working and to call me back. After words he was calling me every 10 mins. at work. I had to but my phone on silnce because it was distracting. After an hour of calling they started to call every five minutes mind you I am still at work. I went back home to go with my husband because we are planning to move and during that time they call 15 times with in a half hour. My husband finally answer and ask what they wanted. I guess they ask what time I'll be home he told them that he didn't know and that was that. I am hoping they won't call any time soon, but this is day one for me. Oh, their calling again I going to see if I can block them. I already told them I didn't want their service, wish me luck.

This number has called me every day, 5-10 times a day, starting at 0800 and continuing until 2130, which is in direct violation of State and Federal PUC codes that state that they may not call more than twice in one day, and may not call after 2100 local time or before 0800 local time, or call more than six days of the week. I will be filing this with my local PUC and filing this as a harassing phone call and quite possibly get them shut down. I too find their way of calling and not saying a word, then hanging up quite annoying and I too am on the National DNC list. I wish all of us luck in this matter and if all of us contact our local PUC and file a complaint as well as contacting the FCC and doing the same, then we all might stand a chance of closing their doors forever.
