Who Called Us

They call all the time, asking for contributions to the Republican National Committee. They refuse to take my name off their list, despite repeated requests. They also bombard me with solicitations for donations in the mail. Just received one today as a matter of fact.

Republican Party (RNC) begging for money. I keep telling them to remove my name/number from their system, but they don't.

They have been calling almost daily all week. I don't pick up, but I'm annoyed!

I've received a number of calls asking for "Sally mylastname". They claim she gave them this number. One of the calls was about a brokerage account.

I called back and they had an option to put on their company "Do Not Call" list. Said it would probably take 2-4 weeks to remove from all their lists. but would immediately remove our number from any incoming new lists.

Just got a call from this number. CID says Toll Free Call. I never answer these, but my husband does and they are alwals soliciting money for political parties. He just tells them to take me off their list. ....They're still calling though!

Who are these people connected to this number? Fundraising for both Democrats and Republicans? As if the fat cat Congress people haven't stolen enough of my hard=earned money. These calls are insulting. So much for "change we can believe in." I got no change left after taxes!!

Five calls in 24 hours. I called back and left a message asking them to take my number off the list. Got two more calls since.

Interesting how our STELLAR politicians of whatever party manage to exempt themselves from any regulations such as the "Do Not Call" list. Have a mind to call their various offices and just hang up on them

1-800-796-0596 is MDS communications They are a fundraising company. If you call them back they apologize and let you know how to get on their do not call list.

They said they were from the Democratic Ladies Society and that the would like a donation of $25 so they could send flyers to known republicans to convince then to stop ridiculiing President Obama. I told them where to go.

Another call from this company, same company yet they use different phone numbers. They are a fundraising company that makes call on behalf on non-profit organizations, which under the Do Not Call Registry, this is perfectly legal. When you call the number back, you receive and recording and instructions on how to have your phone number added to their internal do not call list. The recording also states that it may take two weeks to purge their system of your number. Well it is going on two weeks for me and I just got another call!!!!

Called several times and doesn't wait for the answer machine to pick up. I haven't answered. It seems as though I am getting more calls of this nature in the last few months.

Came up as "Unavailable" - they hung up when I answered

Asked question right away, without even asking if I was interested in participating...."In regards to your opinion regarding abortion, are you pro-choice, pro-life, or somewhere in between?".

No republicans in my house... and no one with any money, either... so they are definitely barking up the wrong tree if it is indeed the RNC. Couldn't tell you since they didn't have the balls to leave a message.

I called them back and got a recording sayying they are a fund raising group that represents major organizations and political gropus. They also claim that as fund raisers, they are exempt from the national do not call list.

Have gotten several calls from 800 numbers, leaving no message, all from different numbers. Weird.
