Who Called Us

This number has been calling my house 3-4 times a week for a year now. We moved in last November and I'm guessing a Spanish family had this number. Whenever I answer they ask for somebody who doesn't live here so I tell them they aren't here and to stop calling. When I try calling them back, I get the broken dial tone sound.

Seriously...what do these homos want that they call repeatedly for no reason?

Interesting......just got this scam call 2 minutes after that scam 'america's best' called and I disconnected them.

If you call the # back it is an automated service that has an option to have your phone number removed from their call list. Hope this is helpful since the jerks call several times a day , sometimes with noone on their end.

calls daily, sometimes I get a message about a low interest Capital One card, and to push 1.

This number call number times a week...call willn't leave message...they always hang up when maching comes on

My husband answered the phone when this call came in (about 2:15pm Pacific Daylight Time). The caller asked for me by my first name and maiden name (been married for 15 years). The caller immediately hung up. I see from the messages that the callers, at times, reference a connection with Capital One. I do have a Capital One card, but use it infrequently and don't owe anything on it.

For the first time in 3 months I got a real person on the other end - said that they were offering a free credit evaluation through Capital One - I told them thank you for calling, and that I would be giving the information, including the person's name that was given to me, what they were offering, and the phone number that showed up on my caller-ID to my attorney, and he would be contacting them directly. They hung up - will be interesting to see if they call back again.

Hangs up when I answer, leaves no msg when I let go to voice mail.

This is the 4th time they have called. They keep asking for someone who does not live here. I keep telling them to stop calling but they still do.

Got a call around 11.15 am they asked for my husband told them he wasn't here, hung up immediately I browsed another website someone claimed that they are from Capitol one but after calling them, Capitol one couldn't confirm, so it might be a scam. Thanks for this website I console it everyday when I get numbers I don't know and thanks for the people that keep posting.

I get calls several times a day. I agree with victor & jackson.

i asked who was calling and they hung up. called the number back and it was a recording saying that they had east coast business hours, yet they had just called!
another outsourced piece of crap company using overseas call centers...

They call every day. I don't pick up. Someone mentioned Capital One - this seems likely. They should really give up on this - it fosters ill will.

This is a really aggravating these people calling several times a day after asking them to stop!

I got a call from this number as unknown caller during the day. I just delete it. Reverse lookups that charge @$15 "say" they will ID the caller, but I'm not that desparate to know who the spammer is.

No identification on this one. Caller ID says "Not provided". I have answered some and they are selling cruises or vacations. They never give up. It seems if you block a call they simply use another number. I am so thankful for this site. I use it several times a day/week and it helps with the frustration of dealing with this type of intrusive phone call.

This number just started calling today. Just like most others. They leave no message.

Didn't answer. Did *69 to get number. Came shortly after another by "Greg" who left a callback on answer machine to 866-779-3934. I did a *57 to "Greg" in case police want to trace it. For info on "Greg" see another page at this site.

get these calls every other day or so. tried calling back, but got recording that gave a message and hung up.

May take 72 hours for the number to be removed but I tried it today!! I have been receiving constantly never answered but I called back today to get on the do not call list.

I received a call from a man named Rum Jon saying he was calling on behalf of Capital One. He had my name and phone number correct but the wrong address. I spoke with his supervisor Chris Domingo and he told me the company was located in Manilla, Phillippines and that they must have the wrong phone number. I told him that I have had identity theft recently and he gave me the company information.

They call daily, it seems and they don't leave a message. I don't have a CapitalOne Card and don't expect any collection calls, so I don't know why they are calling except to sell something.

Rcvd call-called back ITC group the message stated that it does marketing for companies. Can chose to be put on do not call list. However, this might work for this number but if they have other numbers all they have to do is call you from another number.

Just started getting calls from this number last week but now they are daily. I don't answer and I would like them to stop.

@ 3:20pm on 2/2/07 I rec'd a call. No answer, I waited to see if anything. They tried disconnecting twice and it finally went back to a dial tone.

Calls at 9 p.m. on December 19, 2006. Has called 9 times in past week. They need to be taken out and shot by firing squad!

I was home sick and received several calls that day from this number. I checked my caller ID and there were calls every day! If you registered your number with the DoNotCall.gov national registry, you can file a report at donotcall.gov.

The co is called ICC-they are the collection agency for "Capital One". They called me on 11-17 looking for someone else

They're located in Canada, they're definitely phishing for information and they're a marketting/survey company too. They call at least twice a day, unless you can block this number, they'll continue to call. If you call back, an automated answering service offers the option for you to be put on their do not call list... not sure if that works, tried it but it hasn't been 72hrs, and I still get calls...my VOIP enables me to see blocked #'s that try to call, even after they're blocked.

I didn't answer the call, but dialed back the number. Its from a telemarketing group. The automated voice allows you to add your phone number to their Do Not Call list. Try it!
