never have owned a house or been on anything that is remotely connected to hsbc or a mortgage. have tried blocking the calls but they call with a different number. they will not respond to any verbal or written "back off" demands. the calls are 8-10 per day. just keep the phone on vibrate and ignore them.

2010-04-16 15:15:13 UTCsh

am getting multiple daily phone calls from this number, first to cell phone and now to office phone number. states it's hsbc mortgage, hsbc mortgage says its not them--phishing scam!!

2009-07-11 23:18:56 UTCDenise

They call our house ALL the time. I say hello, then start counting...1...2
usually they hang up now when I say 1.
So ridiculous, just call, say what you want and #$@#$@ be DONE with it!

2009-06-17 22:15:59 UTCDENNIS

I no longer have a mortgage with them because i found a better rate elswhere, and they wouldn't come down. Their loss, my gain.

2009-04-20 03:43:16 UTCVivo

It's HSBC Mortgage. Never had an account with them, but they call multiple times, even on Sunday! Jerks.

I called their Executive Offices at 1-877-472-2005, and sent an e-mail to the executive office at hbus.executive.office@us.hsbc.com

Call them! E-mail them! Harass those big-wig executives the same way they make their little minions harass YOU! Please use the info above to voice your complaints to them.

HSBC calling on a not yet late payment. Agent was very friendly and understanding when I advised her that I am currently unemployed.

2009-03-28 01:40:39 UTCchurva

i just wanna tell you jim that based on the contract that you had signed with hsbc, you should pay the mortgage on time, (meaning on the due date it self) even though you have a grace period // any ways that is just given to you no to have a late fee.. why is it that customers are so stupid!!!! crap ////// hsbc the world's local bank

i accidentally hit enter before completing the comment below: anyway, today is 3/22 and since 2/28 i have been called 117 times by them, and they are STILL calling starting at 8 AM and going until after 9 PM and now they are calling my cell phone for which i am not sure how they got that number. it's prepaid and i will not accept calls from them on it because i pay for incoming calls i accept. like others have commented, you pick up the phone and an automated voice will tell you to stay on the line. i just hang up and now have their number blocked via a full feature caller ID box. they are the worst company i have ever done business with and i am trying to find where to file a complaint against them.

HSBC. i have a smalll second mortgage with them. things went fine for years until a couple years ago i transposed a couple account numbers making an on line payment. the error was found and immediately corrected soon after, less than 10 days. for over 6 months after this every time i would log in to make a payment i was greeted with a message that my account was delinquent and i had been turned into a collection agency. i complained about it to a customer service rep and was told ""that's just how we do things." since that time they will begin calling me the day before or on the day the payment is due starting at 8 AM. my payment was due on Feb 28 and by 6 PM they had called 11 times. When i went on line to pay i was blocked from accessing their on line payment page although i could access every other page on their site. they have done this to me about a half dozen times before. i tried again on Monday, 3/1 and i was still blocked, so i just mailed my payment. contractually, i have a 10 day grace period. i checked my bank and the payment has cleared.

2009-03-18 23:22:55 UTCchurva

Have a 2nd with HSBC. Getting up to 10 calls a day. We send the payment though our bank and are never late. Have had this 2nd on our home for the past three years. Never received a single call until we started to investigate refinancing and rolling this into our first mortgage which has an interest rate 1/2 the size as HSBC. They are not interested in doing a refi at a lower rate but they are more than willing to call us every day and NOT talk about it. Have answered a couple of times and get the recording with no one on the line. Now today they have started to call my cell phone while I am at work. Still no one on the line. Can't wait to get away from them.

2009-01-27 19:48:44 UTCKarry

we do have a mortgage through them they never leave a message either we hadn't had any problems with them till this past yr when we tried to get refinancd we had am arm thnrough HSBC and we found a company to refinace through and HSBC wouldn't provide the new company with the info we needed so now we are scrwed intrest rate went up 3% and i think that is what they wanted just to get more money from us it sucks i know that :(

2008-10-05 21:04:17 UTCnan

Caller was looking for someone who had our phone number previously (8 years ago) we requested that they remove our number from this person's records and we received another call, same day. Calls come through multiple times a day and we usually ignore. This time we picked up.

2008-06-22 14:51:23 UTCAmanda

From right around 8am (on Saturday) till 9:42 am they called 5 times. I'm sick of it. They won't stop calling it's non stop, all the time.

2008-05-12 19:07:03 UTCrebecca

HSBC Mortgage. they call at least 4 times a day, NEVER leave a message. well maybe once a month they will say this is an important call, blah blah, but no details. if you call them back, the rep never seems to know that someone had called you in the first place or why.

2008-04-29 01:52:12 UTCMike

call 10-12 times a day" message is please hold an opeartor will be with you shortly". Calls are from India.....

2008-04-24 20:26:22 UTCJay

It's the collections department from HSBC. These leeches start calling easily 10 times per day starting after the due date. Never mind that they have a 10 day grace period- they start the harassment right away with no delay.

2008-03-15 18:12:20 UTCHeather

In the past 4 hours HSBC has already called me 3 times. When I answer I hear "please stay on the line I have an important call for you". Nobody ever comes on the phone though, just that recording. I really wish they would stop calling me.

2008-03-09 22:32:29 UTCDisgusted

Why are these people calling 'round the clock? They're ringing the phone off the hook at 2AM! Can't a body get any sleep anymore? Turn the ringer off at 9PM, back on at 10AM & connect FAX machine when they start their BS.

2008-02-06 23:12:20 UTCBob

they call here around 5-7 times aday,, thats less than it was, they did call 3 or 4 times an hour till my wife threatened them with phone harassment (told them she had consulted an attorney), then they backed off to around twice aday, but it has started up again.

2008-01-25 20:01:13 UTCShannon

It is HSBC Mortgage Services. We Do have our mortgage with them BUT they start calling if you do not make your payment on the due date even though you have 15 day grace period. They will call NONSTOP!! I answer and let them know hey we have 15 day grace period not every payday falls on the 7th, they start calling on the 8th, and I get the response " we are just calling as a simple reminder and when will you make the payment" and not an hour later I get them calling AGAIN and AGAIN.I have had my mortgage with them for 10 years and they just started being harrassing to me this past year yet I have never had a late payment. Why allow grace period if your not going to abide by it???? ANNOYING!!!!

2008-01-11 17:05:38 UTCMichael Raimey

I tried to get help on a short sell on a property in Fl months ago and no one wanted to help. Now that I can not make the payments anymore they call me all the time expecting that the money will just show-up and the 112,000 loss on my investment is ok with me and that I should just keep on paying it.

2007-11-12 02:01:00 UTCdave

this is a horrible mortgage company! they are all a bunch of friggin jackasses, they fuck up my payment EVERY month, trying to double dip into my bank account, claim they didnt (when I have a bank statement that says they did), then they play the "im going to make it so fucking hard to talk to a real person who isnt a minimume wage phone jockey from india" game - hoping you will give up (sorry when you STEAL 1500 dollars from my bank account Im not giving up so easy!). They are one of the crappy subprime lenders who buys up other mortgages, so even if you can avoid them as your mortgage company, if it gets sold, it will likely be to these assholes as they are one of the largest mortgage co's out there. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! They call from 8:01am to 8:59pm literally 20-30 times per day no matter what you say. I finally just had the number blocked by the phone co. fuck em.

2007-10-25 13:21:05 UTCJon

Nothing, don't answer but they just keep calling every day. Came on here to look them up. Have no connection with this company.

2007-08-29 15:22:22 UTCShannen

They've been harassing me on my cell phone. I told them so many times that it was the wrong number, but they keep calling me 10 times a day.

2007-08-29 15:18:08 UTCShannen

I told them it was the wrong number so many times, but they keep calling 7~10 times a day.

2007-08-14 12:17:18 UTCJohn

Even though I am one month behind on the mortgage, these people call my house at least 25 times a day starting at 8:02 am and ending at 8:55 pm. This is ridiculous! I want to tell them so bad "DO YOU THINK CALLING ME 1000 TIMES A DAY WILL MAKE MONEY MAGICALLY APPEAR IN MY POCKET!!!!!!!!!!!

2007-07-19 16:59:07 UTCKAT

HARRASSING! HANG UP CALLS. SAID THEY WOULD BLOCK CALLS, THEN CALLED AGAIN IN 20 MIN. I FILED A REPORT WITH THE FTC AND SUGGEST YOU DO TO AT rn.ftc.gov

2007-06-11 16:58:56 UTCEvans

The calls start at 8:05am and end at 8:59 pm even when you talk to a person, they continue to call.

2007-06-02 14:43:50 UTCSAT

These people calls 10-20 times a day, just being stupid. something really needs to be done about them. if any know who to contact please put it on here.

2007-05-12 15:16:31 UTCEF

PLEASE REMOVE FROM YOUR CALLING LIST. WE GET AT LEAST 15 CALL PER DAY! AND DO NOT SEND EMAIL!

2007-05-09 18:59:13 UTCJoe

They call me at work about 20 times a day. I answer and get a recording "please stay on the line, you have an important message". It is never a human being!

2007-01-16 10:25:56 UTCBen

They've called me about 4-5 times now... usually about once a day. I'm just playing the ignoring game at this point.

2007-01-15 08:27:36 UTCVictoria

these people started calling around 1/9/2007 and will not stop, they ask for someone unkown to me. I have communicated that to them and been assured I would be taken off the list only to receive a call a couple of hours later. So far, at least 15 - 20 calls. I have asked to speak with a supervisor, manager, or asked for an address and they just hang up. How do we stop them?

2007-01-07 15:30:04 UTCLupe

They keep calling us looking for a Joanne or Doug. I have told them many times they got the wrong number; yet, they keep calling many times a day.
What can we do to get rid off them?

2006-12-19 14:40:12 UTCSadie

Called me like 10 times in a row. Not sure how they got my # but I googled it and found out it was HSBC. Who are they????

2006-11-01 15:06:09 UTCemma

I have gotten 2 calls from them today, asking for "laura." I told them it was the wrong number the first time (when they woke me up!!!!) It's the collections people from HSBC mortgage (hi, I live in a dorm). These people SUCK. Oh, and there's an article about them on the site "Rip Off Report."

2006-10-17 14:07:50 UTCRabbit

Been calling 4-6x in a row, usually twice daily. Googled the number, HSBC Mortgage. Never anyone on the line when I answer, so now I don't.

2006-10-12 10:48:20 UTCann

They have called me 6 times in the last week, and always hang up after the second ring. I don't even get a chance to answer.

2006-09-09 22:20:57 UTCsue

these people work with lending tree to my knowledge

2006-08-19 16:33:49 UTCjennifer

hsbc mortage, not sure why they are calling me. Don't have a mortage.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
