How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Now receiving two to three calls per day. Call is automatically blocked, and number & time of call recorded. There must be a way to stop this....
When I answered they hung up. I called the number back and they answered with "can I talk to so-n-so" why hang up then answer the call back as if they called me. These companies need some serious ethics training
how to block this phone call. Keeps calling me! Nobody answers after I say, HELLO? I call back get same dead air stuff.
this call is from an insurance company. If you went on e-surance or sites like that they have your name and are trying to sell you car insurance or any other type of insurance. They have your name and address and actually if you call the number back******** here is the kicker..... they will answer the phone and actually say hello mr. so and so.. or hello mrs. so and so.. for example if I called back they would answer and say hello mr. big vindog... freaky huh?? Ask them nicely to take you off of their list and they will, get lippy with them and they will say they took you off and you will somehow get 100 times more calls because they say you are intrested in buying products and your # will be sold to everyone.. have a great day!! chao!

Just received a phone call from 1-800-290-5898 they did not leave a message. Information at spokeo.com says this is a Telemarketers phone number. I never answer phone calls from Unavailable phone numbers. There R 2 many nuts out there trying 2 get U, 2 give them personal information about Ur self so they can go & rip U off. So B Carefull. U can get a whisle & blow it when U answer the phone :) that might stop the phone calls or at least make U fell better.
