Here it is, 2:13 in the damned morning, and I get a call from this number!! Nothing but a beeping noise on the other end, as if a fax is waiting to be sent. What the hell !!

I keep getting calls fro 777-777-7777, and no one is on the other end. Who is this??

Got a voice mail from this number with a pretty deep voice saying "Why won't you pick up your phone"

This was a call from the union local I belong to about the elections in November.

I kept getting a call from this all 7 number one night. I finally picked up once and heard someone there but they said nothing. So I hung up. I do have an ex boyfriend in Iraq... so I suppose it could have been him, but I'm not the only one with someone being silent on the other end so who knows!!!

I got two calls from a number with all 7s on the caller ID. I tried to call it back and It couldn't be completed. When I answered the second time around, nobody said anything.

My friend called from Japan on Yahoo Phone and it came up with this number. I'm glad I ended up picking it up.

I got a text message from Verizon Wireless stating that my account information had changed. I logged into my online account and my contact phone number was changed to 777-777-7777. I am not sure if this means my account was hacked or if it was a system glitch on their side. VERY WEIRD!

Indian woman voice, wanting to know if I'm available for work. Hard to understand, I think she said she was sending email and someone calling me back.

a Hindu women called and said I had federal grant money owed to me. I recognized it as a scam and told her so. Beware of this number. Scam!!!!!!!!!!!

It would seem according to comments that this is the outgoing number reported (possibly bogus via Caller ID spoofing) that links a VoIP service to the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) and as such, calls with this number reported on the Caller ID could be from anyone and about anything.

Once again, the same person from "Sprint Network" is calling with an offer for a free phone and complete wireless service including internet for just $39.99! If he didn't have such a Middle Eastern accent, I would be more apt to believe him. Is there nothing that can be done to stop these idiots? It is the same exact guy week after week! Sometimes it's Sprint, sometimes other companies. Come on, federal government - crack down on these overseas predators.

Got a call from 777-777-7777 with some Hindu guy on the other end trying to say I qualified for a goverment tax grant of $3,000 based on my tax history. After asking him if this was truely legit he said 'Yes it is. All you need to do is give us your banking information so we can deposit the money directly within 5 working days'. After I told him I was going to call the IRS to confirm this, he started to get irratated with me. I asked him if there was a phone number, website or legal document that can be mailed to me so that I can verify this for myself, his response was 'We can not do that, you have to provide us with the info first, then we can do that'. Such a SCAM!! TIP: The IRS NEVER ASKS FOR YOUR BANKING INFO OVER THE PHONE, ITS THE IRS, THEY CAN GET THAT INFO ON THEIR OWN.

This is someone using their computer to call from Yahoo Messenger. It's 1 cent per minute.

This number popped up on my caller id on5.21.07 I did not answer,though. I tend to not answer unknown calls.

I am recieving calls to my cell phone from 777-777-7777 & from 888-888-8888 between 12am & 2am.
