This is National Associate of Credit Management. (NACM) They collect for business debts, mostly for those stupid credit card machine leases. It's sometimes a computer, and sometimes a live person. Best not to answer the phone at all on this one. If you get a live person, they WILL hang up and call back over and over and over again. Since it's a business collections agency, they are not covered under the FDCPA. However, in some states, they are required to follow similar laws such as this state. (MN) They are not under the FDCPA however, MN laws state they must act as if they are. Best not to answer your phone with these guys. They are unprofessional, the debt they claim I owe is invalid, we sent them closing paperwork, AND, the matter is 8 years past the statute of limitations. Their written letter from me actually stated "go pound sand".. Best to leave the voice mail get it.. I'm sure their machine will enjoy talking to mine - that is, if I don't put them on the call block list again. (They have several numbers they call from)
I don't answer and they nevr leave a message on my ang. machine. I never will answer either.
no message just a hang up after answer machine picks up
Whoever this is, they keep calling my house and asking for people who don't live here! I lost my temper with one agent after that 'please hold message', and I'm sick of them.
G!DD!MNED COLLECTION AGENCY? I returned their call and I asked them why they called me when I don't have any outstanding bills (that I'm aware of) and the AS!HO!ES hung up on me!
they didn't leave a message and I don't answer calls from people I don't know.
Collection clowns
Here is what I started doing.
Answer the phone, say hello so the computer pulls it up.
Wait till they put their clown on.
Now for the fun. (Keep in mind odds are they will keep calling)
Remember never say who you are at any time
As they start their hello-hello stuff, you just jump right in and ask who is?
They come back with I need to speak with so and so- or are you so and so?
You tell them (you called me I ask the questions here not you)
They will try to bark out some BS. Cut them off keep asking who this until they tell you their full name
Ask who they work for and where they are calling from (city state country)
If you can get all this out of them?
Then ask (and just what is this all about)
They will say I looking or want to speak to so and so?
And no matter what just tell them you
Another collection asshole with nothing better to do except to worrying the HELL out of people. Get a REAL JOB! I think it is some more of that Christina Simley Debt Recovery home business group. MLM system.
computer generated message, asks if you are------ and says if you aren't-----than disconnect now. I was ----- but what the hell, I hung up anyway.
This is sounds like a collection agency. The message they left on the answering machine was for someone who does not live at this address and to the best of my knowledge has never lived here.
This is Merchants Credit Guide,a collection agency. They have many numbers. I never answer and never will. Let it ring for ever more.
Several calls from this #. No caller ID, just says "CHICAGO, IL." These started about a week after calls from caller ID "CALIFORNIA" (805-567-0153) started.
