I "Never" deal with telemarketers they are 10 levels below than jock itch on the ewww meter! i wish Obama would use gulf oil to tar and feather these low life turkeys. i hope all telemarketers kids die a slow death of cancer... thank God business and residential are protected by the FCC's do not call list lmao!!!!!!

"Cindy" called selling advertising space on "HelloChicago.com", another web page pretending to be the next great thing after the yellow pages. She had a prepared, canned, text that would be posted to the site. I told her I would look first before talking more. The site is nothing spectacular and will never bring me any business, because, like so many of these ventures, a seeker after services has to know to go to that site, and know what the site lists. Three years ago these goofs, or their first cousins called me. I said I would consider. Within 10 minutes I was hit up by another call from one of their other divisions for some scheme. I called the company and spoke to their president and read him out for using his business lists this way. I told him I would not do business with his companies. And so I shall not, again.

Caller ID said CPI.

This is a local number in my area. They have called several times in the past and the one time I answered I thought they were collecting for some police fund. I looked them up after todays call and the company is listed as Contract Publishing and James Wootton is the President. They are located at 3710 Indian River Road in Chesapeake, VA 23325.

These people call my number all the time, even after I tell the to dnc. I have told them several times, We are Platinum Web Marketing, a Manhattan,Las Vegas, Nashville,Orlando, and Long Island internet marketing company, and certainly do not need any help marketing on the internet.

You're being harrassed by Contract Advertising in Chesapeake, Virginia in the hopes that you'll answer so they can sweet talk you into donating to the Wishing Well Foundation or Cancer Recover of America, or some other charity. Very unprofessional operation with no respect (contempt?) for their donors.

4-24-09 Hung up on my answering machine. Am on Do Not Call. Here is a list of 172 nuisance callers since May, 2008. Most call multiple times for months so the list represents thousands of calls in less than a year. Each has been researched on a site like this one. Print and put by the phone and do not answer. Don't get upset and argue with telemarketers. Ignore them and save a lot of time. I have been totally turned off on telemarketing by the aggravation and will not respond to anything coming from telemarketers.

Spammers. They called my business number. I blew them off and they said that they would take us off the list. I doubt that!

Bill Smith, YOU ARE COMPLETELY FULL OF SHIT! I have received phone calls (the last one today) asking for donations for undercover cops. I'm sure you work for this bullshit company.

If a company that you have not done business with calls on your cell phone that is not listed in a directory it is ILLEGAL per the Federal Trade Commission. If they do not remove your number file a Grievance with the FTC and tell them such as well.

Harrassing and not truthful. I have asked to be removed and they have not. And they ARE asking for donations for undercover cops, Bill, but I'm sure they appreciate you rallying for them.....
They are a perfect example of a fraudulent company asking for many different things. They have called repeatedly from the same # and company, however, sometimes they want donations for undercover cops, sometimes they want my business to advertise with them, sometimes they are conducting a survey for yadda yadda yadda, etc. It's something different every time. I have stopped answering and just send them through to my fax line....

I'm going through another cycle where this company is calling me 3-5 times a day, and hanging up without leaving a message. I've actually done business with them in the past. They're called Contract Advertising, and they sold me an ad for my business in a local newspaper. I was very disappointed in the quality of the ad, and asked them to remove my business's name from their list for future promotions. Unfortunately, they continue to call me in spurts like this every couple of months. I've given up answering and trying to get them to remove my name from their list. They say they will do it, but never have done it. Beware of doing business with them!

Just received a VM to my extension at my business. Lady said her name is Lindsay Campbell and she is with Community Focus Online and she was calling to "follow back up" with me even though I have never spoken with her. She left the number 8008276692 as a call back. Obviously I have not called her back now that I've see this list.

I have asked serveral time for this company to take my name and phone number off their list. They still call at least once a week requesting donations.

Called 2x today, left no voicemail.

I say that Bill Smith is full of himself. It is inappropriate and negative behavior for any company to disturb people at their homes with their telemarketing crap. People don't want or need that nonsense.

All you need to do is to call back the company, ask for the general manager and request that your name be taken off the list. It's as easy as that.

And I'll have to say Bill is probably an employee of that company as I'm going to side with Doug based on my experience with this company. They won't stop calling me!

Doug is full of him self. I wont put my real name on this site but I will say that I formerly worked the the company he is speaking of. WHile I hate telemarketing calls and especially ones for donations, this company is very legit and they will not and do not tolerate false representations. They never would have said anyting about under cover cops.
