they called again. never ending. using several different numbers. no csll list is just a joke cause it doesn't do anything. they have been in business forever, no one stops them.

I don't know why these people started calling me. They have called several time in the past 2 days. I didn't do anything to make them believe I am interested in chatting with them. My phone is listed on every please do not call me list I can find, even the the state list too. All these phone calls are upsetting to me. I guess it's nice to have this place to let out some frustration...thankyou.

Timbo, maybe if you actually read those rules which you feel are so unfair, you would realize they give you options.

The dirty secret is that many charity calls are placed by a commercial fundraiser, such as Associated Community Services, Dial America, Donor Services Group, Harris, InfoCision, MDS, and TeleFund. These non-sales calls are exempt from federal DNC, even though such call centers are very much for-profit and pocket most of what their periodic campaigns collect. At times the ''charity'' client is itself a closet profit enterprise, compounding the deception.

However, as commercial entities, these hired call centers are expected to honor an internal no-call list and add any number upon request. Break that order, the FTC declares, and ''the telemarketer may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000.'' They are also covered to a point by other regulations for telepests, so you can kvetch about abandoned calls, bot calls to mobile phones, and so on.

They call every night at dinner time; don't leave a message.

These aholes called me 10-17-2011, so there is nothing you can do, they won't take you off their list. Think I'll go bother Congressman again and axe them, "How do you like getting annoying calls every day", after all, they made the laws that allow these people to constantly interrupt you with annoying phone calls.

Claimed to be a fundraiser from the "Breast Cancer Awareness Fund." Told them to put me on their do-not-call list.

There's no one on the line because it's a robo-caller and they just want to know what time of the day a human answers, so they call several times before they are sure that a human is going to answer (that's why there's no one there). Then, on the third time they call they are pretty certain that you'll be home. Try this: pick up the phone (DO NOT SPEAK) and start pressing the pound key (#) repeatedly. This sends a tone to the robo-dialer that essentially tells it, "there's something wrong with this line, remove this number from the database".
You can also call your Congressman/woman/homosexual everyday and axe them, "how do you like getting annoying calls every day?" Congress made the rules after all. Call your state Congress people too and tell them you are switching parties since charities and political a-holes are exempt.

These people have called us three times in the last two days. Always hang up.

It is a telemarketer claiming they are a charitable fundraiser company and exempt from the do not call list. They do offer to let you remove your number from their list. I entered mine, so we will find out.

They call at least once a day but leave no message. When I finally answered, they hung up.

Lady said they were calling for Wounded Illinois Veterans. Told her she was working for outfit out of Michigan. She said they were a calling center for the charity. Told her she was a pawn for a outfit that made millions for her employers and hardly anything went to charity. She said she needed the job and that was the only reason she called.

Had to call back, said insight telemarker, collecting for charity, remove name from list. Another SCUMBAG A##hole telemarker.

Same results, I picked up phone on 2nd ring...I kept saying hello, hello with no one responding. I continued to listen till the party humg up. I get calls from this number every few days. Disgusted having to waste my time to get up to answer or even look at caller ID.

Call from above number (734-369-9220) twice today - Wednesday November 24, 2010. No one responds when I answer.
