Who Called Us

This Company CFFA called my office today and said I had tried to apply for credit and was denied. They would like to help me out. I can assure you this company is a scam as I have high credit scores and have not been turned down nor have I applied for any credit. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. They did not even have a name of a person they were trying to get in touch with and when I inquired about their business information and why would they be contacting a business, they could not get off the phone fast enough. Phone # they called from was 727-683-0722 Beware.!!

They want to help re-establish your credit with a new credit card

Ok what I want to know is how do that get your number in the first place? Secondly, this company has repeatedly called but never leave a message when finally my mother in law answers the phone. After stating to whomever was on the other end that I was unavailable, she ask if they would like to leave a message and they hung up the phone. When I go to do a search on this company, nothing come on the internet about them.

They talked really fast so that I couldn't understand them. They said that I have been turned down a for credit and they were calling to improve my credit. I asked if it had to do with a credit card and they said no. They wanted to improve my credit and they asked for my bank, birth date, how often I got paid, and checking account number. I almost fell for it.....be careful. when I started asking questions all he said was sorry I bothered you. Then he hung up. I called back the number and no one answered.

THEY say i am appoved for acredit card, but wher is it, how did i win it ,who,s paying for this card. help us please.

Me and my fiance keep getting calls from this number and the same thing happens they dont leave a message and the only thing that shows up is the number on caller id. And when we call them back we get either a busy signal or it just rings and rings and rings and then says the person i ahve tryed to reach has moved out of the service area. So it is very frustrating.

why r they calling me? who is it? every time i try to call back, its busy!

They called offering me a credit card to rebuild my credit. I asked if they would send me some information about their agency. They guy ignored me and kept asking for my bank routing and account number. I told him I had to do some research and get back with him. He started laughing and hung up!!

Received a call from this number, couln't get to the phone on time, no msg left, found this site when I searched the number, I am an active member on the do not call registry.

I miss several calls from this number, I also notice that they call I pick up the phone, hello I say no answer. However today a young lady called. After introducing herself she was talking at about 100 words per minute, so I said could you slow down for me. She were offering me a credit car to help repair or establish my credit. I have only been living in the US for 10 months (great I thought, of course I wanted to establish my credit). Next she said are you 18 years and older?, Do you have a valid savings are checking account? What the name of your bank?. This is what got me really suspicious she said we are going to need your checking account, and routing number.
I replied "who do you say you are again?" about now she started to sound angry, Do you have callers ID she asked? Yes I said. She said do you see CFFA on it we are South Florida Financial. I said could you give me your number and extension so I can call you back, she repeated the number that was already on my callers ID, there is no extension she said just the number.
Immediately I Google the name and found this site. I private my cellphone and call back the phone kept ringing without an answer. Thank you all. I am doing the best to protect myself please do so too.

My wife was suckered into giving out her bank info a few weeks ago. Since then every week a different company calls about payday loans or free car giveaways. Fortunately she was able to cancell her account before anyhting happened to it. Still, this is absuredly annoying. CFFA is apparently out of Florida. DON"T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION, EVEN YOUR NAME!

Same company as the below link and number 408-731-7348 AmeriTrust Financial. BIG SCAM!!! Some have given personal info as well as paid for their "credit card". Report this to authorities especially if you are on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

they told me i was approved for a $300.00 payday cash advance into my bank account as of today 1/14/2008 i have not receive a dime in my account and they have all my information is fastmoney911 a legimate company.

These peole are so rude the first guy persuaded me to sign up for the card and i told them sure then he aske for my account number which i was afraid of he said he needed it to see if i had an open account so i was like ok then he switched me over to another person as i started to ask lots of questions he started attacking me and being rude telling me that i didnt know my own information i did not continue with the process because they seem like a scandal and very unproffesional i tried to report the number to the police but they said they couldnt unless they took money out of my account so i am going to close my account i dont know who these people are and if they are scandal or not but if i were yo$u i would be aware i dont know what all they can do with my information but im not trying to find out

A guy named anthony from cffa called and got all of my husbands info and didnt tell him the term of agreement and when he told him he was going to talk it over with me he said no and that he wasted his time. so we stopped payment immediately!!!!!!

Got a call from this bunch for the same thing. I told them I was not interested and they asked me if I wanted to raise my credit, I was like sure but right now I can't afford a credit card cause I recently lost my job. They were like ok and hung up. Good thing I told them no though. Even if I had said yes I would have told them forget it when it comes to bank account information as I've already been a victim of fraud several times over the last 10 years.

I didn't apply for a payday loan though, personal loan yes but not a payday loan nor would I have done a payday loan anyways as I don't like the terms. If I want to get a loan I would prefer to pay it off in installments anyways.

I noticed someone on here mentioned did an internet cash advance. I also recently did one and now they are calling my house. Maybe it is related? But if you ask them not to call they aren't allowed to call anymore, right?

They call me at least 4 times a day as late as 8:30 PM!!!!! They never leave a message!

They called me twice this week but did not leave any message....I do not know who they are.When I called back there was no response.

I usually get these sort of calls on my home phone, but within the last week I've been getting them on my pre-paid cell phone. I never pick up and would advise others to do the same. They also call from 408-731-7348.

Threatening them doesn't work. Next month they'll start calling you all over again with a new number.

these people called and asked for someone that wasnt home.i was in the middle of telling them they were not in and could i take a message and they hung up on me.then i tried to call them back multiple times..sometimes a busy signal sometimes it rang until a recoding saying my party wasnt picking up.i dont know who they are but im tired of it!

Just got this call this morning and it comes up Florida on my cell # called back and busy.

I received a call from CFFA. I didn't answer the phone and of course the yleft no msg. I lost my job sometime back and my credit has taken a major hit, so I receive calls, such as from CFFA quite often. I assumed they were a company seeking to take advantage of someone in my position.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone, first time. Did not leave a message.

My cell phone started ringing and when it did my landline was ringing at the same time both with the same number. The caller id read CFFA it freaked me out so I didn't answer it.

Don't know where this number came from, don't recognize.

They wanted my acctount info and gave me a cc limit of 2500.00 when i asked for a website and if they were BBB listed my cell phone wetn dead.

The do not call list is a joke. I think I get more calls since being listed on it

I called 800-682-0923. Someone put that number on here and they said the 727-683-0725 might be there new accounts phone number. Call and tell then you want to be taken off the list. Hopefully that works. It's a cradit card company

they just called me and asked for my fiance. I can't seem to get any info on the number but you can go to donotcall.gov and file a complaint.

They call me constantly on my cell phone. I have no idea who these people are. I'm on the Do Not Call List, but they still call.

I just received a call from this number (CFFA) a few minutes ago. I blocked their number using my local phone company's Call Rejection service.

Call Rejection is a BEAUTIFUL THING. :)

I read several complaints on goolge and also called 800 682 1923 which is Central Florida Finance. It seems that when they get in touch w/anyone they want your banking information. I recently done and internet cash advance and wonder if they obtained information from it. I reported the # to the do not call registry hopefully it helps. It is a land line from Florida and the services are being provide by Deltacom.

They keep calling. I looked them up and found negative comments so there's no way I'm answering

THEY CONTINOUSLY CALL AND LEAVE NO MESSAGE MY PHONE NUMBER IS ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST AND THEY STILL CALL. IF THEY CONTINUE I WILL FILE CHARGES WITH THE FTC.

This number called twice today. I answered it the second time they called and the man asked for someone that doesn't live here and I said "she doesn't live here." Real quickly he said "thank you" and hung up. Strange!!

I actually found this site while trying to find out who these people are. My caller ID says their CFFA. They didn't leave any message and they've called twice so far. I called them back blocked and all I got was a busy signal. After a few frustrating attempts at that, I called them back without blocking and just got a ring, nobody answered. Undoubtedly they have caller ID and won't pick up for me either. Anyway, this is something new so will post as calls come in, now that I know this site exists.

called the number it rings 7 times and then a computer generated voice indicates to leave your remote access code...

I have no idea who this is - they never leave a message.

Nothing comes up as far as company name or information but they have called me several times in the past few days.

I get the same, they just started calling the past couple of days.
