called cell numerous times - no message left. Thanks to those who report, have filed fcc complaint as well.

This is a telemarketing company hired by other firms to make their sales calls. After not answering for several calls, I finally answered to see who they were and to get them to stop. It took a couple of minutes for them to connect, so wait. They called me about renewing a subscription to Better Homes & Gardens. I told them no and they have not called back.

These people call several times a day, they never leave a message or answer when you pick up. Their answering machine allows you to leave your number to be placed on their "do not call list". I hope they quite calling me.

Call at least once a day. I don't ever answer and they do no leave a message.

We also have been receiving this number with the caller ID "Graven Austin". No message is ever left on our answering machine and when answered, there is no one on the line

Took the advice and called 1-800-888-6780. Operator said she was sorry for the calls and would put us on the Do Not Call list but it would take 48 to 72 hours. If it works - GREAT! The website will tell you all about this organization - gadtelecom.com

This number calls almost every evening and sometimes twice an evening. The caller ID shows Graven Austin. It is driving me NUTS!!!

When you call the number there is a recording asking you to leave your number to be added to their do not call list.

I WISH WE COULD BLOCK ALL NUMBERS WE DON'T WANT BOTHERING US.
This call came in on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 6:44pm.
It was in regard to a current subscription to Better Homes and Gardens being received at our address.
The person they asked for was not at home, so we don't know the full extent of what the call was about.
The Caller ID showed "Graven Austin" which, according to Google, is a Colorado firm (Graven Austin & Drake, Inc.) offering call, telemarketing, and database management services.

So I'm gonna do what this guy did.......
This is a sales company called Graven Austin in Colorado. To get even with them I faxed a note to them at 719-548-9225 that said, "STOP CALLING ME" with my phone number. I did this 500 times and used op a ream of their fax paper. Works great!

Received a call from 719-219-0669 twice in the last 2 days. Never leaves a message on the answering machine.

This # showed on caller id several times. I finally answered it an some male asked for me by name. I didnt like the sound of it so I hung up. Looks like its from Ladies Home Journal according to other comments on this web site. I have let my subscription lapse and will not renew it.

Keep calling a couple of times a day. I called back and got a recording that said to leave my number to get on their DO NOT CALL list. I'll have to wait to see if they stop calling. Another site says it's Better Homes and Garden. My wife used to have a subscription but let it lapse, so they are probably trying to get her to sign up again.

I keep getting calls from this number & when I pick up no one answers - I'm supposed to be on the national list of no solicitations - what can I do

This number has been calling for several weeks. Never leaves a message. Our number is on the Do Not Call list. Thanks for the info regarding calling their toll-free number to have our number removed. The only magazines I'm interested in are the ones we receive for free!

This is for Ladies Home Journal subscriptions. Yesterday I got a call from 201-257-4090 from NJ. It was for subscriptions also. I have caller ID as the ones below also have. I thought I was on the do not call list, but somehow these idiots got by that. They need to get a real job.....

We have received several phone calls from these people since December 1, 2009. They always hang up when my husband or I anwser. However, when my 11-year-old daughter answered, they spoke to her and asked for my husband and I by name????? We were not at home. Tried *69, got busy signal. Googled name after receiving another call tonight, found what sounds like a telemarketing company by the name of Graven Austin & Drake with same contact number. I will be calling them again, and I do not plan on being "friendly." These people are creeping me out!

I answered this after seeing it on my caller id numerous times. It was someone asking me to renew a magazine subscription.

I just filed a complaint with FCC. Submitted the online form it was very easy!! esupport.fcc.gov (Federal Communications Commision Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau)

Shows up on caller ID and no one answers......kind of a nuisance to say the least!!

When I answered the phone, there is no one on the line. I understand the calls are placed by a computer for determining the time frame when someone is home......then in the next few days, you get a call from the telemarketer. If I have the opportunity, I will inform any magazine company that I will never subscribe by means of a telemarketing company.

We have received several phone calls from this number. As with the other people who posted comments, when we answer the phone no is on the line. It has become a nuisance. I also left a message for them to put me on their Do Not Call list as we are the national list. Hopefully this will stop the calls.

I did what Jennifer suggested below. I called the company and asked to be put on their do not call list. The receptionist/operator took my number and said it would take approx. 72 hours. I'll see what happens after that!

this number called today and my dad said it was a female who asked for me, said to call back later. i tried calling back and got the "mail is full" recording also. Graven Austin shows up on the caller id.

The call was regarding whether I wanted to renew Ladies Home Journal.

Have no idea what these calls are all about I just wish they would leave a message so I could resolve the matter

These people NEVER leave a message. They call every day, several times a day. The Caller ID number changes from time to time, but Graven Austin always comes up with the ID. What does it take to have these people remove a name from their "list." Suggestions appreciated. Presently on "do not call registry" and obviously these people don't comply. Nuisance!

Receive Caller ID of Graven Austin. However, no-one is on the line... I have reported to do not call registry but dont know if it will help.

I found this from another site. I called the 800 # and asked to be on a Do Not Call List. Hope this helps.
