Stop Calling- is that so hard for these people to understand

Didn't pick up.

Left a recorded message offering to finance a computer purchase. Now that I think about it, it would be GREAT to have a computer!

Oh, wait, I already have one.

I got this call while in class, and it pissed me off. so im going on every website that requires a telephone number and putting in their phone number.(these websites are marketing sites that will call) now they will be getting a bunch of calls. Fight fire with fire :)

I answer, no one is there, This happens several times a week on my private cell phone. same number each time.

some satellite tv automated call. arrived at 10 PM!

I tried to call back and the number just cuts out.

I am usually very polite or very rude when dealing with telemarketing calls. I did something this time that was so much fun! First, there was a message that said to push "1" if interested. I did this and then pretended to be verrrrry interested, (they were offering satellite TV and DVR's), but I made sure to have TONS of questions, taking up alot of time and behaving like I was confused and needed things explained to me 3 and 4 times. We were on the phone FOREVER! Well, the guy can see that I am so impressed at what a DVR can do and can see that I am just so amazed that you can actually pause live TV! He is sure it is a done deal and asks me how many TVs I have in my home so that he can get the DVRs out to me as soon as possible. Well, I broke it to him that I must have been confused about his services, and I hate to have wasted so much of his time, but I don't have a TV! Hehe! We actually have 5, but it was a new way to deal with telemarketers. If you have a few extra minutes, try this. The guy was so pissed that he wated his time, and I was actually laughing and happy when I got off the phone. Absolutely hilarious!

If you keep thier numbers on your caller id, and your on the no call list, PLEASE call your local attorney general's office and file a complaint. In the process of doing this to this company as well as 3 others. They DO get charges filed against them if enough people come forward and file a complaint.

Offer of free computer financing. Didn't answer but they left a msg on the machine. They call 2 or 3 times a week.

The called saying they are a firm that deals with people who have "poor credit" - thank you, but I don't - then the twist - their finance department has preapproved me for a new computer. All I have to do is have a valid checking account. Then they tell you to call back an 866 number. Oh yeah! I can't wait. Bet they really want to help. I'm sure!

Started leaving a message from National Computer Alliance and babbled something about working wioth people with bad credit-which I do not have........buncha losers.

I got a call from this number, but I didn't answer. The message left on my voice mail was from some guy from the National Computer Enrollment Center, or something like that. This guy said basically the same thing as Terry.

I got a call from this number too. The message they left on answering machine, "Don Robinson of National Computer Enrollment Center. Said they were financing people with bad credit for desktop computer and will throw in a printer. The call back number they left was 866-674-7434.

THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN REPORTED TO THE DONT NOT CALL REGISTRY ON A CALL COMPLAINT! EVERYTIME I ANSWER I TELL THEM THAT I AM ON THE D.N.C.LIST, WELL TODAY, THE MAN BY THE NAME OF 'JEFF' CALLED MY A LYING BITCH! I'VE HAD IT WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Got another call today, played the "polite" roll and talked to "Brian", once he gave me his line about satellite offer I told him I was not interested and to please get me off the list. He told me to go to hell. I then yelled as loud as i could in a high pitch tone. Perhaps that will persuade the S.O.B. to stop caling!!

Receive SEVERAL calls a day from same #, sometimes wait until someone live talks and then i let out a high pitch noise. Maybe, this will make them deaf!

I've been getting a lot of these - and no luck getting removed. It's a federal offense in the US with a $500 penalty, I just need to find a real contact so I can sue the bastards. The FTC has a page to report this - donotcall.gov

Calls from "The Satellite TV Company"...when asked to remove my number from call list, they just hung up. Sounded like call transferred to call center in India. Call said Iowa.

I have asked MANY TIMES TO BE REMOVED OF THIS LIST, YET THEY KEEP ON CALLING. I called back, got a person and said "TAKE ME OF THE LIST" BEFORE I COULD FINISH HE SAID "BEAT IT LADY!" I will report them to the Atty. Generals office!

Answered a call, when i said hello no one answered, so i waited a few seconds and said hello again no answere again waited a few more seconds and they finally hung up. So i *69 it and it gave me the number 712-872-3351.

It was a satellite TV offer that I had already asked to be removed from via their automated "If we reached your number in error press 2 now" option. So I waited for an agent and asked to be removed. Before I could finish the request she had hung up on me.

Did not answer,but, did a call back and there was no answer.

telemarketors getting around the no call list

Did not answer, have been getting a lot of "spoof" calls lately.

Caller ID said Iowa. Did not answer. This call is probably related to the Alabama calls that I've been getting a lot recently. The Do No Call List is a bunch of crap IMO.
