Who Called Us

Call came in on my cell phone. Just as on my land line, I don't answer if I don't know the number. I'm on the DNC list, but these calls keep coming through!

has called several times since new year. shows 7016255008 or unknown. who is this?

I received a call today from 7016255008. I am worried they are scammers or identity thieves.

They called twice. Don't know who they are.

701-625-5008 is one of many FAKE numbers and names that they use. It is a telemarketing SCAM.

Have received at least two calls. Did not answer as there was no name associated with number and I don't know anyone in ND.

It's a skype number. Alot of companies and people are using skype to get around blocked calling. when they run the calls through skype it just generates a number and that is why so many people are talking about the same number but different calls. There is also a app. for cell phones called bluff my call and others like it that allow you to call any given number and make it show up as another number your caller ID.

I followed up on "doug's" suggestion and called Pinnacle Security at 1-877-746-7233. after going through their menu choices i was helped by a young lady. I explained that I AM on the DNC list asd don't care to be called by them or their representitives again.
she took my number and told me I was off the list..
I also said they DO NOT have ANY permission to pass my number along to anyone.....

They are telemarketers they do not care about the do not call list and continue to call my cell at work.
I have asked them on several ocassions to stop call but some one new makes the call. They aslo ask you who you are and where do live. They are trying to sale wiresless secuirty systems. They are not licend in the State of MN to offere any type of service for security and they will not give their company name. they also ask if you have credit card.

CID is 701-625-5008 "Weight Lose". The caller is a machine that asks you to press '1' for a special on a security system. I pressed '1' and the salesperson asked if I would have time for a series of questions about security systems. I asked for a callback number. She said there wasn't one, that it was an answering service. I said "Fine. Give me the number to call back and answer." She hung up. Calling the CID number gets a recording that requests you to press '1' to be placed on their 'do not call' list.

Second time this week that I've gotten a call. This time I pressed '1' to talk to an operator. A live operator came on the line and took some basic contact info: name and street address. This time I didn't ask any questions, I just gave them bogus info. The operator said that a customer service rep would be contacting me shortly. Right after I got off that call, I got a call from someone selling security systems. I let the guy go on his pitch as if I was interested. Found out that the company is Pinnacle Security - pinnaclesecurity.com. The outcall agent at Pinnacle said that their lead generation vendor is Elevate. Took some digging, but I think this would be thinkelevate.com, who, not surprisingly, don't list any snail-mail contact info on their web site.

Have been receiving calls. Recording tells you to press 1 to talk to a rep. or 2 to have your number removed, I have pressed 2 numerous times so this time I pressed 1. When RICHARD answered to sell me his alarm system I requested removal and the jerk hung up on me!!

Well, it could be any sort of sales. Call centers have more than one client, you know. The credit reprice scam has gone on for years, and the security calls sound somewhat like the Monitronics affiliate game.

Robocall offering to connect to an operator for a special offer on a wireless home security system. After getting connected to a live operator, I asked for the name of the company that was calling, at which point they immediately hung up.

Actually they are in Virginia not ND. Also they are not Lose Weight, they are a bogus security systems company, attempting to obtain personal information. Just block the number. If you press 1 they immediately track your call, determine when you are home, etc.

No message left.

Caller ID says Lose Weight, but the voicemail was about lowering interest rates.
