Who Called Us

This number calls my office every.single.day and hangs up. I think when they hear me say the name of a business they hang up. Tired of it.

stopped getting calls from a so called boa rep two weeks ago from a different number , now they are at it again calling from this 626 number. i never answer and their voicemails are static, less than a second. losers

This is a scam. My husband works for Bank of America, so they picked the wrong house to call today to get info. When I told them that my husband worked for BoA they hung up, lol. If you have any doubts call the number on the back of your credit card or on your statement. Don't call any of the numbers offered here, as some of them are not legit! Bank of America does not conduct business this way. Beware!

Ask me to verfiy, birth date, last four of social, mother's maiden name....first thing on the call. Never said what it was about. They did not like it when I said I did not know my birthday. Told them to mail me what they want, either by USPS or my email on record.

They keep calling and then I call back and all I hear is static after it stops ringing.

They do not respond when I say "Hello". Call repeatedly.

Wanted my Bank Card number, Told them I did not have the card with me and then wanted my Social. Decided this must be some kind of scam. I would never give that type of info over the phone. If they are calling you they must have your account number and Social.

why would I call back a message that doesn't give me a company name? And is just a recording.

They would be calling and hanging up for a while, about 20 calls during a week, finally they responded when I answered and identified themselves as Bank of America. Since I have no business with BofA the caller indicated BofA as being in charge of FIA Card Services and then the name of a bank. Just having the 666 in their phone number indicates their bad taste, the multiple IDs indicates their disorganization. In any case the guy was calling from a call center in Mexico. To which I say. No-one in the US has to answer about anything to foreign nationals on foreign soil. Just hang up! if BofA wants to talk with me they better call from the US and hire locally, other wise I won't answer.

"Bank of America" comes up on the CallerID, but I have never had an account with Bank of America. My accounts with other banks are in good standing and always have been. Obvious fraud.

626-666-6754 is FIA Card Services, they are calling me in regards to my B of A account. They are pushy and rude, they called me 10 times in a 6 minute span as if that would magically make me have my job back and money to pay them. There is no human factor with these people, they have their job to do and they will not stop at anything to get it done.

I received a call from a Customer Svc Rep saying that they could make a payment arrangement. I agreed to set up automatic payments for the next 2 months. However a week later I received a letter via FedEx from FIA Card Svcs, and it told me I needed to pay a certain amount of money within 2 days, or the entire balance would be due immediately. I called BofA who told me to disregard the letter. Interestingly enough on the FedEx envelope, FIA attached a label that said "DESTROY if undeliverable", that is definately suspicious and a red flag.

I do not trust these calls. It's always someone with an attitude as well. threatening and telling you to contact another number. They are also telling you it will be the last time they will contact you and allow you the chance to reduce your interest rate to 6%. They really do not offically identify them selves- all they say is they are from card services for your CREDIT CARDS.

Also, the website on the letter that I received was fiaeasypay.com. The website that the customer service representative told me was fiacardservices.com. She verified that the sites were affiliated. Again, if you have any doubts, call up your credit card company. I know it's embarassing to do it if you've missed payments, but just do it to protect yourself.

I got a letter from FIA card services because I've been unemployed and haven't been able to make payments on my BofA account for a few months. I called them up and set up a payment through them, though my card is now closed. I had just assumed this was Bank of America, but then i started to question it after I had set up the payments with them. I just got off of the phone with BofA customer service, which was actually FIA card services and found out that FIA card services works with other credit card companies as well. I had them verify that the payment plan I made the other day. If you're concerned, just call up your credit card company and speak with either card services or the fraud department.

It's a collection agency whose employees pose as Bank of America account services representatives. They scam people into making payments to them, but if you've seen the Dateline NBC and 20/20 under cover reports, they are all shady. They take people's money, supposedly for an authorized payment toward a debt, but are really committing fraud--breaking the law and stealing people's money. They lie about who they are and where the money is going.

Don't answer...report all calls from this number (list all times and dates...i know, its probably 3-5 times per day) to "donotcall.gov". It is the governments consumer protection agency and the sooner people start reporting these telemarketing con-men, the sooner they will be put in prison. It takes 31 days from registering to report a complaint, which is off-putting I know, but patience pays off and registering your phone number in the system supposedly makes it illegal for any telemarketers to call you.

This number called us and represented themselves as American Express--wanted to know if everything was going okay since we are close to our limit. Sounds super fishy!

Will BOA work out a payment plan?....They wait till you go over the limit and you cant pay...this is a scam....I hate BOA....One person tells you one thing another person tells you something different they all lie

Receive a call from this number on a daily basis. I do not answer. I have no accounts now, or in the past, from Bank of America.

Call several times a day. They will call and get answering machine, hang up and immediately call back again...same number. Have been calling every 15-20 minutes this evening.

Left msg. for one of our employees. I called back with the employees approval and it apparently is Bank of America card services , but since the caller did not leave an extension #, the person who answered couldn't connect me to the person who called.

They called me and the gentlemen I talked to didn't sound a bit professional in the slightest and they asked for way too much personal info which my wife and I gave them none. BoA relates no relationship to this phone # and I advise you to have them take you off their "list" and hang up. If that doesn't work then tell them you will notify the authorities in pasadena about them.

This is BOA collection. They called my child's cell looking for a woman who had this number before him. If you call them back (and you do not owe BOA) they will remove your number.

Caller ID showed "card services" and 626-666-6754. A man asked for a former employee by name. When advised he was no longer employed, caller did not want to speak with anyone else and hung up.

If you are concerned goto your local Bank of America branch and speak to a customer service representative and allow them to search for any accounts you have outstanding, if its due then pay it, if you cant don't.

I keep getting this phone number showing up on my cell phone. I don't answer it because I don't recognize it. They never leave a message.

I contacted Bank of America, and if you really are dilinquent on your account, you can go to FIAEasyPay.com. Or call 1-800-234-5356. Can't always trust companies calling you. So, be safe do not answer any 626 calls.

626-666-6754 is a collection agency for Bank of American and FIA card services. They have my account number, ssn and correct balance when they called to collect my payment that was 2 days past due!

Was Bank of America. It is possible that other scams take information from legitimate companies and use it (i.e. caller id phone #'s). The message to all consumers is always the same. Never give out information. Any legitimate company should offer information to you first.

I called them after receiving the call several days in a row and got a woman with an Indian accent. She said the name of her company is Card Services and that the collect for credit card balances. Since I don't have one, I guess they're out of luck or mistaken...hmmm.

also, WATCH OUT! There are people POSTING here who are RELATED to this fraud activity!!!!!!! They are posting misleading information for you to trust and give out your info. 626 is a pasadena area code and UNRELATED to BOFA operations!!!!!!

This number is a scam. NO BofA agency has a "626" number.

First, they called and left NO VOICE MAIL message. BofA rep LEAVES a message.

I called back, a lady named "Andrea" started talking to me. In a "demanding" voice she asked for my name and last name. I asked where she was calling from, she answered, "Card services." Then, she moved on asking how my name is spelled -- I asked her again WHICH cardservices are we talking about? She said BANK OF AMERICA. I HAVE TWO ACCOUNTS with BOFA in GOOD STANDING. WATCH OUT PEOPLE -- this is FRAUD! Her voice was shaky & unsure of what she exactly wanted.

I am a B of A credit card holder but my bill is and has always been up to date. Did not answer the call but called back and no answer. Also, no voice message left.

called twice today. i did not answer, but am wondering how they got past the 'do not call' list.

My son keeps getting this phone call, and Finally I got the phone and I asked them why they were calling my son and they asked if he had a Bank of America account and I said no, they asked "Do you"? I replied "yes" and they said "Well let me check your account" ...."Can I have your account number Please?" and I said HELL NO !!! and hung up.

My 97 year old grandmother has gotten the same call 2 times and they got enough info from her to withdrawl 87.00 out of her account

These people are scammers and I will turn them in. What ever you do, dont give ANY information out at all., period.

i called boa fraud center and they transfered me to customer assistance, which also has an 800 number (800 234 5356). you see when they call from California, the outgoing calls come from the direct lines at their desks,(or computer system that auto dials your number) the last four digits of the number ie 6754 is actually the extension of an employee of customer assistance aka collections. I trust this info because the 800 number given to me from the nice women in fraud when called they asked the same thing right away ssn, or card number. They sound like a tough group they are basically a (pc) collections dept. of BoA.

A recorded message from 'Bank of America', one time it said [no name] the other time it said Unavailable with no phone number but was the same place.

These idiots got me in trouble today. They only call me at work when I can not answer my phone. I am assuming they can not answer thier phone at work either... Hope they get a life. At least leave a message. Geeez

Calls only when I am at work. Attempted to call back. No answer. Message on my voice mail from Bank of America Card Services at the same time of incoming call. Not sure what they need unless they are offering me a credit card.

Calls work for an X-employee. They don't speak good English and wouldn't accept NO for an answer. They were told that no one by that name worked for our company, but they wouldn't hang up and kept telling me to get the person.
They wouldn't hang up...so I did.
Bye scumbag collection agency. When we say don't call our business, we mean it. They have been WARNED. Next time, a complaint will be made to the proper authorities.

These are the rudest people in the world. This is a bill collector from a family members bill that they have a $5.00 outstanding balance. They call at 7:10am, 7:20am, 7:40am then not again until 9:30pm, 9:45pm and 10:15pm. They call on Sundays. When I tell them this is a message number only, they call back five minutes later and go through the whole thing AGAIN!
They hang up when you answer, if you call them back, they answer "Card Services". Another number associated with these horrid people is 1-800-613-6144, it comes up "Card Services" or sometimes "Toll Free".
I will be cross noting these numbers. If you can, block them. They yell at me or my grand-daughters when we answer the phone. I wish we could shut these horrid people down. I don't think they are based in the America's, so they do whatever they want, include threaten my son. No amount of telling them this is not the person they want makes them stop calling.

If you look at the official BofA website, they also talk about myeasypayment.com. It is a BofA website that has processed over $335 mil in delinquent payments. Yes, I know this mean that I too have missed a few payments. But this just to let you know that myeasypayment.com is infact a real website opperated by BofA. The site is not a scam, but i can't be sure about the phone calls.

myeasypayment.com is actually part of BofA. It was actually listed on Credit Card statement that i recieved from BofA. I have used myeasypayment.com in the past and the credit did show up on the following statement.

Okay, so if they are collectors for BofA then I would like to know why they are calling ME all the time because I have no accounts with them of any kind.

Verified with BofA (800.432.1000) that myeasypayment.com and the 626 number are NOT RELATED TO BANK OF AMERICA. Those losers called me AGAIN today and I answered, I told them to take my # off the list and that I knew they were scammers.

VERY suspicious. I got a call from the 626 number (this is a SoCal area code) and they didn't leave a message. When I called them back at 9pm, I got a message stating the offices were closed and to go to this website:

to make a payment. Anyone even remotely internet savvy will realize this is not a valid BofA site... not to mention the fact that we have 1 BofA checking account and NO cards or loans with them. That site asks for specific account information (cc numbers, etc). This is clearly a scam.

This is my second call in an hour. They didn't leave a message last time. Second call said his name was Ian calling from BOA with regards to my Suntrust bank account. I DON'T HAVE ONE!!!! Left 800-487-0396 call back #.

When I called they did not have a record of my phone Number and they said they were sorry.end of call.When they called they left no message on the answering service,I called back the Caller ID info.

Wow... Do any of you even realize that by filling out these "comment forms", you may very well be providing the SCAM artist with that one last bit of info needed to rip you off completely. These questions on these "forms" quite possibly could be set up to IDENTIFY YOU, allowing them to slowly piece together all the needed info to run away with your credit line. Everything typed on this page may very well be feeding right into their own database.... The webmaster of this page could be the person you talked to on the phone - and now you may have just identified yourself, zip code, I.P. ADDRESS, etc... Not to mention whatever else you may have voluntarily told them over the phone.

... Or maybe not. But it's an awfully generic webpage dontcha think?????

It's either Bank of America or a 3rd party collection agency. I know for sure b/c in my case, Im not paying a credit card from BoA b/c I lost my job so waiting to settle the debt.

Very suspicious- ben banking with bank of america for 4 years and never had a phone call. Asked me to call a number back, which I did but then it disconnected. I was going to tell them I intended to call the main number and resolve whatever the issue was that way.

Did not answer, they did not leave message. I have received other calls where they stated they were from Bank of America.
They are very good at what they do, they will state that your account is past due and say that your post office has returned their mail. They will try to get you to pay a "past due" amount by phone. I don't even have the credit card they referred to (of course they only gave me the last four).

They call two or three times a day which included Saturday this week. I don't answer unknown numbers and they don't leave a message

I didn't recognize this number (626) 666-6754. They didn't leave a message. I don't feel the need to return their call either. When I look at this number, it doesn't look good with all of those 6's and equals EVIL to me.

Your bank will know how to contact you if there is a problem. I hate getting blind calls on my cell number. Don't give information over the phone unless you are absolutely certain who the caller is.

try giving them a fake ssn and see if they know it isn't yours. Then you'll know they already have it and it is in fact just a confirmation as to whom they're speaking with and not a scam. What's really suspicious is that they call from a regular number and not an 800 number. It seems they'd be paying an awful lot of long distance charges just to try and recoup some money they probably won't get anyway. Something doesn't add up.

yeah I don't know. I do know that BofA was calling me from another number, different area code, and I only know that because of this site. But I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Just got a call. I answered no response and they hung up.

They have been calling several times per day and do not leave a voice message. I won't pay for minutes from any numbers I don't know. If it really is Bank of America, they know where to reach me by mail. I don't give out address or SSN info on the phone, so they're out of luck if that's what they're hunting for.
