How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Caller said they were calling about Harbour Walk Falmouth and left message as if they were responding to my call requesting I call them back. Stayed at Harbour Walk Falmouth once for a marathon. Not interested in a time share. I have been on the do not call list since 2008. Reported call to National Do Not Call Registry.
REceived numerous phone messages from this number and I finally called back and they said I won the biggest gift ever and airfare I would just have to go falmouth, MA to pick it up. I said that I would have to call back and if she could mail me the informaiton, she said she couldn't do that becuase they need to schedule an apptm. I said I would call back and now I'm not going to after reading the comments. I spoke to a very very pushing person.
I've had this number calling me for the last few days, but since I didn't recognise the number, I haven't answered. Now that I see it's a time share scam, I'll have some fun if they try to call again! lol
Vacation/Timeshare scam caller.
Said his name was Jason and that my mother won a "free" get away vacation and four round trip tickets anywhere. If she wanted to avoid paying the $700-800 taxes she could pick the airline tickets up. My 87year old mother dropped her name in a box at Twin River Casino. Five days later, they are calling her to say she won all these trips, etc...Thank god I was sitting there when the call came. Jason was aggressive, rude and when I (the daughter)picked up the extension, he was "ticked." Everything fell together quickly, and I told him that I have POA he started yelling that he wanted to speak with my mother, I hung up.
He called back. At this point I said do NOT call again or I will call the FCC and I hung up again. That was the end of that, for now. Watch out for this company folks, they are swindlers!!

update: I blocked this number. There were two more attempts by their predictive dialer and that was it.
This number is used by a timeshare company that puts "entry" boxes in fairs around New England. Your "entry" is a sales lead and thus they call back every phone number with "great news". Borderline scam as they promise so many free goodies, but nothing more than a high pressure sales pitch is delivered instead.
