Got a call from this number trying to get my Credit card information for a survey I took.
Little did I know it was a scam.

Ok, so I have spent all morning reading everyones responses. I received this really cool voucher in the mail stating I would qualify for 4 different vacaton packages. I was extremely excited as it said Ramada on it! When I called, this guy must have been doing this all day becasue he created the best visual! I immediately thought, SCAM! They told me it was now or never and that always throws up red flags in my mind. I quickly hung up so I could do some research prior to handing out my CC number to them. They have been calling me all week and when I answer, they hang up. I finally received a voice today and said "you spoke with ____ last time and noticed you did not reserve. We have a couple vacaton packages left and could do 1/2 price." I told him I had a conference call and to call me back at 12. He said ok and will call me back later. From what I hear and read, if its too good to be true, it is. Calling back is useless, you either get a busy signal or they hang up. I've been getting calls from them for two weeks. I answer and they never say anything. I call back and they hang up or take the phone off the hook for a minute. Or they just don't answer.

I have been receiving these unwanted calls from "cruise-line" solicitors since I filled out a ballot (for a free prize) at a Toronto exhibit show (wasn't sure if I should be giving the name of the show, but it's large and lots of exhibitors and things for sale)this summer. The solicitor himself told me they received my information from filling out the ballot. The first call was within a few short weeks of attending the show and the ONLY ballot I have filled out giving my telephone number. These free vacations are a real hoax and alot of people have been takin' by them! Do Not give out any of your financial information thinking your paying for a deal of a trip! I have read through Better Business Burea many people have been double and triple charged by these people.

I've registered at national do not call and filed many complaints against this number yet they still call!!!! I never pick up the phone and they never leave a message.

OK EVERY ON I HAVE THE SOLUTION. I TRACKED DOWN WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE. THEY ARE RAMADA PLAZA IN BOYNTON BEACH FLORIDA. THEIR PHON NUMBER IS 561 364 4140. I CALLED AND ASKED TO SPEAKE TO THE MANAGER AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY NEED TO KNOW WHAT IT IS REGARDING, BECAUSE THEY SCREEN THE CALLS BEFORE THEY SEND IT THROUGH. I SAID THAT IT IS REGARDING A COMPLAINT, THEN THEY SAID THAT I SHOULD BE TALKING TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I SAID THAT I WANT TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER OR OTHERWISE I WILL BE CALLING THE POLICE RIGHT NOW AND THEY WILL BE AT THEIR DOOR SHORTLY. I TOLD THEM I WILL HOLD AND THAT THEY CAN RELAY THAT TO THEIR MANAGER. MANAGER GOT ON THE PHONE. HIS NAME IS KENNY. I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE DISTURBING PHONE CALLS AND ASKED FOR MY PHONE NUMBER TO REMOVE IT FROM THE SYSTEM. HE SAID THAT IT WAS ABOUT THE CRUISE AND THAT THE PRICES ARE REDUCED. THIS IS A COMPUTER SYSTEM THAT CALLS ALL THE TIME.I ASKED WHY DO THEY HUNG UP AND HE SAID THAT IT IS BECAUSE THE SYSTEM DOES NOT GET CONNECTED THAT IS WHY IT HUNGS UP. HE SAID THAT HE WILL REMOVE MY NUMBER AND THAT IT WILL TAKE 24HRS. I TOLD HIM THAT IF I DO RECEIVE ANOTHER CALL BE SURE THAT THE POLICE WILL BE INVOLVED. SO I SUGGEST THAT YOU ALL DO THE SAME.

This number calls every day for the past 3 months, sometimes 3x per day, starting aas early as 6:00am. When I pick up the phone noone answers. I no longer answer the phone when I see the number

This number called me 12x these past 5 days, sometimes 2-3x/day... i never answered because I didn't recognize the number. This time, about half an hour ago I answered. The caller hung up. Now I learn this is Ramada. They sent me a "free" vacation voucher to the Bahamas, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando & Mexico a few weeks ago. I called the 800 number, but I got suspicious when they started twisting my arm to cough up $899 & for my CC#. Then the guy called his supervisor, and she "sweetened" the deal w/ free dinners. But I "have to buy it right now." I refused. She got really huffy and slammed the phone in my ear. I tore up the voucher and threw it in the trash.

If you have been scammed by them please report it to the FTC. You can reach them at #877-382-4357. You will go through a few menu choices before talking to someone directly, so be patient. They need numerous reports to make a case, so it's important to call if you've been victimized by these rude idiots in any way.

these are 4 and 5 times a day and i am on the do not call list...i would call it harassment

I'm guessing that it really is a computer glitch but that they don't care enough about the fines to actually fix it. My other theory as to why it takes six months for them to finally stop calling is not actually because of the fines from the 'do not call' list but rather that the list of numbers they have purchased is replaced with fresh meat. I'm full of conspiracy theories. For those who have not yet come across the info on how to get registered against these rude rude companies here is the info you'll need; donotcall.gov and or 1-888-382-1222.

I once called back and I asked who they were. They said they dealt with vacations and I asked to continue. Then a bunch of people talked in the background, chuckling; and then she hung up on me.

We are receiving several calls a day (about 5!), and no one on the other end. It's most aggrevating when it's our children's bed time. I would like someone to hold accountable, and rest assured that when one is found, I will insist on their taking full responsibility. This is intollerable!

I don't know how all these people get my cell phone number, but i just recieved a call from this number at 9 pm. Now it's hard to believe a business would actually call this late at night! They call around 3 times a day, i never once answer it, because i do not recognize the number

First time I get a call from this number (10:51am). No one answered.

Just called them back from a different phone than the one they have programmed for us and they picked up. They said they are trying to sell vacations. We asked them to place us on their do not call list. They have been calling twice a day.

Verified that I'm on the National Do Not Call list and then I filed a complaint (donotcall.gov). Everyone that is on the do not call list that receives these calls should file a complaint so maybe they'll get a big enough fine to stop.

The calls started on 8-1-07. Man mumbled something the first time and then hung up on me and every call since I have been hung up on. I am on the do not call list and this is getting annoying.

I got calls from this number. giving me some offers about a vacation that will cost me $395 for two persons instead of $1400 per person. They requested me to pay them the money on the phone. Of course, I didn't do that. I think they wanted to steal my money.

They called only once so far and when i called them back, i got the buzy signal. I called the 800 number someone said it filtered back to and they answered ramada resorts. When i inquired about it, they hung up on me. I won't pick up the phone any longer.

My fiance got a call on his cell phone from this number and a girl said "tim, it's me" The only person he knew in florida was his ex gf who he hasn't seen in 6 years who has his child and wont let him see. It freaked him out

Okay I missed a call from this number one day, I called back and never got an answer. So I left it alone. Next Day in the afternoon I got another call but again missed it. I called back and they did answer with a greeting saying they were some Ramada Inn Hotel and Resort.I was like, "Hi I got a call from thsi number and I don't know who called me". She said "ok" and hung up. I was so MAD, I called back and told that BITCH off! Then they kept playing little prank call jokes and I had fun with it. So anyway, don't answer these people's calls they should go get real JOBS! losers:)

ramada sent me a flyer a couple month ago saying I had a voucher for a free trip, they asked for a credit card number and i needed a drivers license to do it. When i said I wasn't 21 didnt have a drivers license and no credit card they huing up on me. They called back today, saying I refused the trip, but no, they refused me, they then said that i needed to me 18 with a credit card, but in nova scotia you need to me 19 to even have a credit card, which I am not!!! I looked up the flyer and they are scam artists do not give them any information!!!!!!

Called twice at my cell at 11:00am on 5/16 and 1:20pm on 5/16. Didn't pick up the phone. I wish I could block the number!

I had my husband answer the phone, after they had called multiple times at various hours of the day. When he answered no one responded. We then called the number back and it rang probably 10 times before we hung up.

I couldnt understand what the woman said so I asked her what company she was with and she asked me for my number, so I said no, what company is this and she hung up. I kept calling and she continued to be rude. I have a feeling its a computer generating random calls and a company is trying to build a database of home or cell numbers.

This is a scam. They call to offer you a lucrative vacation to Bahamas. Initially they make it sound like it's all paid for; however in the end they ask for your Credit Card information to pay for taxes and other fees.

These are annoying, call 2 or more times a day and soon as you answer the phone those shit heads hang up.

They have been calling 2x a day. I finally added them to my broadband phone (voicepulse) filter. Now their calls will forward to 800-513-0943 -back to their own office! Ha! That'll get 'em!!

This number has called my in the past, the exact dates I don't remember. They have called three times between January 17th and 18th. My caller ID just reads the number, nothing else. VERY irritating!

I have received three calls from this number 561-424-0845. Two on Jan.17, one on Jan. 16. They knew my name. Yesterday a guy just said he wanted to talk to me. And I asked who he was. And then he hung up. And today a guy called and said he is Bruce Li.

Follow up to previous message- I haven't received a call since calling the ramada people. They originally started calling as a result of my purchase off the TV. This resort is linked to them, and should be correcting their "glitch" by now to avoid legal action. I'm enjoying my peace and quiet. Hope you all can do the same.

Called December 6 and December 7 2006 at my work. Only the phone number display. No answer when I picked up on Dec. 6. Did not pick up on Dec 7 and they left no message.

They've been calling me for the last week, 2 or 3 times a day. Today is the first day I talked to someone - named "Cliff". He said that he acquired my name from some bridal magazine (don't get any bridal magazines). He then went on to say how my name was randomly selected by a computer to receive a great deal for a 7 night stay in Florida. I told him I couldn't talk right now - which I really couldn't. He said the deal would only be available for this one phone call. I said that's too bad because I have to go - dear Cliff hung up on me. Sure enough, about 2 hours later there is another call from this phone number, but I wasn't around to pick up the call, and there was no message left. The rest of my family has be hassled by phone calls from this number continuously for the last week. They never respond immediately when I pick up the phone... must be a computer dialed system that connects their operator when my end of the phone picks up.

I get calls from this number several times a week. Normally it is when I'm not home, but when I am, they disconnect when I answer.

Me again. I finally got through to someone at this number. They got my number from a purchase i made from the TV. I told the lady I was on the no-call list and i would take further action if the calls didn't stop. She said the familiar, "it's a computer glitch", and promised to take my number out of their system. This so called resort offer needs to rethink their strategy for their business. Certainly harassing folks can't be that lucrative, unless there's more gullable people out there than i can imagine. Thanks for the opportunity to give my 2 cents. I'll keep ya'll posted if my effort was successful.

these folks have been calling my son's cell phone 3x/day (morn,aftnoon,evening) he has never picked up and they do not leave a message. i tried calling but only get a busy signal just tried calling again and someone did answer with a Marriot name. said the computer is generating calls and they are having a glitch. asked to have my number removed from the calling. she said it would be removed. we will see

Several calls per day for weeks. I called back - they answered "the Marriott" I checked with the local Marriott - they verified it was not a Marriott hotel and they did a search for me - the number is a land line (home phone) in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Rec'd a discounted offer in the mail for some trip by Ramada and I called curious about the offer but I never accepted anything. Now they are constantly calling my cell phone number and hang up. This is ridiculous. It needs to stop!!!
