Called on Lan line which is forwarded to cell ... this is the second time tonight @ 7:04 pm & 8:14 pm and did not answer nor the caller leave a message. No Message NO Talkee ... DO NOT answer calls that you do not recognize the caller. Will put block on cell phone!

Colegrove: Document those calls thoroughly the moment you disconnect, and record clean phone audio if possible. The right kind of ''rude and harassing'' over an illegitimate debt can get you paid probably a lot more than PRA is claiming in a FDCPA suit. Be sure your wife makes a proper written dispute when that required dunning letter arrives.

My wife got a call from port folio recovery to get money from a 11 year old phone bill that she never owed and tried to get her accont number but she wouldnt give it to them,they were very rude and harrassing.

Well virginia, new york, pennsylvania, back to new york. 7 diffrent numbers 3 states and its portfolio recovery everytime. lookms like this number goes on the "list" also. Keep calling so I can trace the numbers you call from. "11 year old supposebly debt" Statue of limitations ran out along time to ago, as well as in this economy you think people are going to give you money for something they may not have had. Do not think so. At least when I was a telemarketer I did not stoop as low as you in harrassing people over "11 year old supposebly debt".

Prior reports are correct .... PRA has half a bazillion numbers to dial from and likes to chase moldy accounts past SoL. Learn the industry rules, which PRA violate often, if you want peace and protection.

Calls repeatedly throughout the day from various numbers. Shows up as Incoming Call and can only see the number after the caller hangs up.

Very rude and aggressive male called saying he was a business associate of two people who he is looking to get in contact with. Neither of these people live at this address. His rudeness was almost laughable. I simply hung up the phone. He must be a joy to have as a husband or father.

Same sorry a$$ people from Portfolio Collections, trying to fool you with multiple numbers, i.e. 404-921-2521 or 800-772-1413, etc. Collection company who buys out of date collections still trying to collect. . . get a meaning full job Suckers!!!!

I thought the State Atty General in NY was supposed to be tough, but most of the zombie debt collectors seem to be from there or Florida. Like Moonheart, my debt is close to 20 years old now. I had insurance sold to me by the credit card company at the time. They paid for a couple of months, until the reports came back permanently disabled, then they cut and ran and Portfolio picked up the chase. Nowadays I don't answer any calls w/o a complete caller ID & even then, hardly ever unless they are personal friends or family. Too many of these greedy bastages using computerized autodialers.

Relentless these people. Calls start around 0830, then a couple more during the day. They have multiple numbers. This is a debt that is 18 years old!!!!! I guess they will try FOREVER, and I will ignored them every single time they call!!!!!

I see portfolio recovery has another new number that they are calling from. They are relentless.
