Who Called Us

I have been getting calls 16 times a day (on my cell phone)for two months, all from Wells Fargo looking for someone I never heard of. I told them on three different occasions that they had the wrong number. I finally talked to Verizon and they said it was a problem with my recycled cell number (it was a new phone for me three months ago) and they offered me a new number for free, but no guarantee that it won't also have the same problem. These are all the numbers Wells Fargo has been using to call me:800-947-5024,800-832-0202, 800-451-9849,800-322-9782 and finally today, this Iowa number. This is really abusive, they should be required to at least try and verify that they have a valid number before they can call like this....

they are ding ding bats, and they are couple of Idiots who live and a bamboo huts.

This Idiots make me sick. They keep calling, even at the early time, we talk to them and ask them take our no# out of their list, they say okey, but back again keep calling, like I told you they were Idiots........

Called by this number 10 times a day. I called back 515-331-9160, pressed option #3, and was transferred to the dept. They told me that I will be removed from the list. Hope it works!

They call 4-5 times daily...up until 9PM. I never answer. I put the number on call block and it still gets through. Its getting frustrating and I have no late bills.

They have called us all day today. I answer and no one replies and then I hear a hang-up...obviously a computer dialer. Finally a person answered and asked for my husband and wouldn't disclose who they are. Husband wasn't home.

you can DEMAND that no collector call your work.

you can files a small claims suit and require payment of up to 1K per violation.

When I called back, it was Wells Fargo Financial. The first thing it did was ask me if I had an account number, didn't know it, or didn't have a Wells Fargo account. I have 5 and don't know which they would be calling about. So I press two. Then it asks for my social security number . . . are you kidding me? I'm not even sure who's calling or why, and you want me to give my soc. followed by the pound sign? Good idea.

**I have the answer...if a number was calling me an insane amount a day I would answer it to find out what was going on. This is a Wells Fargo number, they call when your account is past due. If you want the calls to stop; ANSWER THE PHONE!! Even if you cant do a payment that day, just let them know when it will be in. So sit down with your check book figure things out so when they call you can give them what they need and never hear from them again, assuming you can be on time from then on. The numbers from that guy above are right. SO TAKE CARE OF YOUR BUSINESS AND STOP COMPLAINING!!!! I hate collection calls, but ya know what, it happens when your late, deal with it.

i wish they would stop calling here every second of the day... i paid them off two months ago and they wont leave me be... i was always up to date with my payments... even though i had sent in payments they would still call me on the DAY the the note was due.... come on now this is getting ridiculous its up to six calls a day!!!

If this is Wells Fargo, they are very annoying. They leave a message without any information except to call them back which is unprofessional and a waste of time.

Wells Fargo is calling?
Not really. I called Wells Fargo( 1-800-869-3577), they state this is a phone number of one of there sister companies. But would not disclose the name of what company. Sounds very fishy. Do not give any information out, remember the people you do business with all ready know your information.

i got several calls from this number everyday. i refused to answer this phone. i am wondering why they keep calling everyday!!!

I get calls 3-4 times every day from this number, the last one is always around 8 at night. This time they left a text message with a return # of 866-818-5260. I called it and it is Wells Fargo, and somehow they have my MOTHER'S name and want to speak with her only, that it is a "highly personal matter". This is bs, I asked my mother and she doesn't have a Wells Fargo account. They said she gave them my number (no way) and I asked them to stop calling since it isn't her number, but they keep calling. How do we get this to stop???

I keep receiving calls from this number. It is Wells Fargo. On occasion they will tell you that you need to call them now. When you do it is nothing that is urgent they just have a promotional for you to fall for.

I finally got them to stop calling. Wish I thought of this earlier. After about the 100th call I picked up the phone, without even saying hello. I said, I know you are not calling here again, unless you want me to call the police. Last call ever.

Called the business extension for one of our finance leaders. Refused to give any information and got progressively more upset with me the more I prodded. The caller identified herself as "Bobby".

Just to let anyone who gets a call from Wells Fargo Financial know, they will continue to call you, as they legally can every day between 8am to 9pm, even on Sundays. If they speak to who they are trying to contact, they should not call again till the next day. The only way to get the calls to stop are to pay your account up to date. If you have any account with a store, and you are sure you don't have a Wells Fargo account, you might want to find out who your financing is through. Many, many companies are financed through Wells Fargo. Such as Raymour and Flanagan, Slumberland, Thomasville, Best Buy, and others.

I keep getting the same call.At least once a month I get the call, but recently is been every other day. They don't leave a message nor anyone talks when I answer. I noticed the number is traced back to Des Moines, IA.

its def wells fargo.. you either has a recycled phone # from someone that hasnt paid their loan or someone you're related to put you as a refference and they have been avoiding payments..

Got a call from them for my 25 year old daughter in law who lives in another state trying to collect from her. They called 4 times in one day. One time when they called my call waiting kicked in and it was them on that line too! Reported them to the Attorney General who quickly fired them off a letter telling them they were in violation of the law. I suggest you all do likewise. They will NOT stop otherwise. If enough of us take this action against Wells Fargo maybe they will get the picture.

Since last fall we have received literally countless calls from this number (515-331-9160) at all hours!!! Only the number shows on our caller ID. No idea who it is (the call is coming from Des Moines, IA). We pay our phone bill, therefore we only answer to names/numbers we know (if whomever is calling wants to pay our bill then we'll gladly answer their contiunally annoying calls). All our phone
numbers including cell, are registered on the National DNC list. If we unsuccessfully called someone as many times as these people have called us we'd get the hint and scratch them off our list. These are not persistant callers, they are DUMB as mud!!!!! Get the hint!

I just got 2 calls from that number, and it's Sunday! The first time, I answered it, and there was a recording so I hung up. They called back 20 minutes later. I didn't answer, they left no message. The caller ID said 'caller unknown'.

i don't have any finacial connections with wells fargo. i don't have bad credit or owe anyone money. yet they call me everyday several times a day beginning at 8am until 8pm 7 days a week. it's really annoying.

my only guess is that i have a recyled phone number and they want to aggravate whoever had this cell phone number before i did.

they do it when you dont pay your payment ontime for a credit card of loan from wells fargo..

its an "automatic dialer" as one guy mentioned.. I was annoyed so i called and mentioned it.. seems i forgot to pay my payment.. well after i paid they said "ok sir we will be removing you from our automatic dialer"

I keep getting these calls on my Tracfone. I never answer, just send it to voicemail. They sometimes leave a recorded message with a 866 818 5260 number for contact, but no company name or other information.

I recived a call from this number, it didn't state who it was, and it was in spanish asking me to wait in line for the next person.

stupid. I wonder if it really is wells fargo or some kind of phising scam?

next time it calls, I'll wait for the whole message to compleat its self, if they ask me for any personal information (SSN CCN Bank account #) I'll be placing a call to the attorney generals office.

Same problems as others have noted here, but on my cell phone! Mulitple calls, no message, recorded message telling me to hold when I call the number (I won't be "held" by a machine!). They began to tick me off a LONG time ago!

I get calls every day from this number , several a day and no messesages are left ? I call back and they want my account number from an automated answering service. Screw them.

Yes, it is Wells Fargo. It is a collection call if you have a line of credit from a big purchase (usually appliances) or a credit card. Their colelction tactics are poor because they will not leave a polite message, or any message. And they hound you over and over, even if your minimum payment is less than $25!

Wells Fargo recorded message starts "this is not a sales call", which is a shame because this is a sales office...ask to talk to a supervisor and see how surly they get! Call them obsenities & vent on them, it's fun, try it.

I was able to block this number through my phone company, but beware, these morons have a new number, now I have to block it.

I tried answering once and after a delay there was a computer message to wait for the next available agent. I will not be put on hold to wait for a high pressure sales call placed by a computer.

This number keeps calling my cell phone, but my phone won't let me answer it. But they call it at least 6 times a day.

We've told them to stop calling us but they still call all day long well past 9pm local even on Sunday.

I got a call from this number too. They call several times a day and well into the evening hours. It's 9:00 p.m. now and I just hung up on them. My bill is current and there is no need for them to call me this late in the evening.

As with the other comments, I receive a call every hour at 10 mins. past the hour. I would like to stop the calls. Any suggestions?

Wells Fargo trying to get me to take an additional line of credit. They already had my credit report from who knows where. Very annoying. They will not stop even though you ask to be put on the "National DNC List"

I get calls from them a couple of times every day for weeks on end. They call at all hours!

also, they leave me messages every other call, but i never hear the entire message, i just hear the woman giving me a number to call back, and it's usually the last 4 digits of the number. the funny thing is that the digits are different from the number she is calling me from. i don't really understand why a wells fargo in Iowa is calling me all the way here in southern california.

It's wells fargo. They refuse to leave messages. Since i do not answer calls from numbers i don't know, I have asked them on at least 3 separate occasions to leave a message if they ever call again. It is noted in my account but they still refuse to do it. Terrible customer service. Seems also like a big waste of time on their part.
