I received a call from this number on feb 1 2014. If it is a non profit charity, politician or surveyor, I believe they are exempt from the do not call list.

The FCC has temporarily halted 7 minor unprofitable boiler rooms who will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since they are making money with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like www.telephonemanagement.net and www.CallerID4U.com

In their own words: 'Every day your company makes thousands of outbound phone calls. Every one of those calls generates revenue for many companies, why not yours? Our CNAM revenue-sharing program helps you make money every time a Caller ID request is made by a phone carrier. A high-traffic call center can lose hundreds to thousands of dollars a day to phone carriers by allowing them to charge for access to your own data.'

You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. They are making money even if you don't answer the phone. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their scam then it is just icing on the cake for them. These people are the lowest form of filth on this planet.

What To Do When You Get an Illegal Robocall; www.ftc.gov
1. Hang Up. Do not press 1 or any other numbers to get off the list and NEVER call them back
2. Consider blocking the number or on a cell phone add it to a contact list and assign NO ring tone
3. Report it at www.fcc.gov
4. Report it at www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
5. People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office
6. Report any criminal activity to the FBI here: tips.fbi.gov

This is an all out attack from these scum suckers! EVERYONE should be reporting them everywhere that they can. Since this is an obvious attempt at identity theft the FBI should be forced to get involved. (Prosecute them in criminal court instead of civil penalties).

Register your phone numbers online at www.donotcall.gov or call (888) 382-1222 (must call from # you want removed).

Nothing that you do will stop them from calling you. The major players behind this have made millions of dollars, which means that they are too big to fail.
One of the major players specializes in aiding the rich with tax evasion and shell corporations set up in Belize. You can bet that the well to do in this country are not getting lower your credit card interest rate calls and due to that fact our government just considers a few phone calls a minor annoyance.

If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their con then it is just icing on the cake for them. These people are the lowest form of filth on this planet. The only way to stop this is to contact the FBI and ask why this crime family is allowed to operate and facilitate the ongoing criminal operations. This is one of the reasons that the RICO act was put in place, so why aren't they using it. Is this because this isn't a high profile, news worthy operation or is the FBI too understaffed and busy with Homeland Security issues. Maybe if we were rich they would take this seriously, but then if we were rich we would be using that criminal organizations services and protecting them instead of trying to shut them down.

They call leving messages undercovered with: surveys, political organizations, charity funding, etc, which are allowed by FTC. If you call them back or you pick up the call, they will continue offering: Credit Card Services, Lower your Interest Rate, phone services, voice networks, and many others. They sell phone services, so they can call you under many differen products, dependig on their "customers". They may appear as without name on the caller ID or: Pacifictel, Political Survey, Voice Network, Political Opinion, Political Opinion of America, Flake Wilkerson Marketing Strategies International, Outsmart Marketing Solutions, Americas Survey, Public Service Announcement, opinionology of Western Watts, The Nielsen Company Ratings, CBCS Comprehensive Collection Services, Inc., Management Receivable Services, win. winner, MN, Ohio, Won a Caribbean Vacation, Caribean Cruises, Cruises, Credit Services, and many more, depending of the generic name they are working for. I've benn following this SOABs for more than 5 years, but I never, NEVER take their calls, or call them back. I report every single call to Do-Not-Call and to FTC no matter if it works or doesn't. They have a huge network so their calls come from many number all over the country. Some of these numbers are:
