Received call from this number more than once. The last time, I picked up and said, "hello", and they hung up. Maybe they are required to make a certain number of calls per day. It doesn't matter if they get through or not. So long as the records show it. I have a mortgage through Wells Fargo and they have been GREAT. I opened a checking account with Wells Fargo... DON'T DO IT!! Entirely different company as far as I am concerned. NEVER AGAIN!!

Shot these idiots down before he could get a word out. I simply ask it this was a sales call. And it through him off. I then told him this number is on the "Do Not Call List." He then tried to say that I was using it as a business number, I told him, "Nope." He tried to challenge me by saying it was listed with the National Association of Realtors, I said, "Nope." (It is, but I don't do soliciting calls, don't solicit me) I told him that I would report him and then hung up on him. Scrub your list idiot!!

Dozens of calls and when answered hangs up. never leaves a message.

When I call back the call wont go through. Pain to keep getting these calls.

I don't now nor have I ever had an account with wells fargo no credit cards or loans or even a savings account butt they started calling me several times a day.

2010-12-21 21:24:55 UTCtbone

In this case, the Wells Fargo call was to alert me that I'd missed a credit card payment. However, they don't leave a message nor do they identify themselves. I figured it out when another post said it was WF calling about a late payment. Checked my WF account, and sure enough, that's what it was.

thay hung up as soon as i anserd it and we are now on the no call list so stop calling we dont want you calling us

I have been avoiding the calls because I live in Georgia, and the number was unfamiliar. If they ever bothered to LEAVE A MESSAGE, I would have gotten back to them before they called twice a day for a week!

Wells Fargo! The next bank to fail! It's no wonder, unprofessional business tactics. It's like they think they're the only bank in town. News flash----it's the 21st century, not the 1800s!

2009-10-28 20:52:59 UTCAnnoyed

We asked Wells Fargo branch about the number. They said it wasn't them.

I don't have an accout with WF. The calls are relentless. never a message. SO bad I unpluged my cordless and turned my other phones ringer off. Friends and family have my cell.

2009-05-29 15:39:01 UTCcard holder

Man, I run to get the phone, answer, & it hangs up! I don't even get a message.

2009-05-04 21:48:51 UTCwellscardholder

late for 3 days but called cust serv - that payment on it's way in 3 days - late charge removed voluntarily - yeah! Today I missed 2 calls from this number. Surprised that it's wells collection after notifying them of my late.

2009-03-30 17:29:15 UTCwolfcat

Yep, it's wells fargo looking for cc payment. One way to help avoid the annoying calls is to change your home phone to your cell phone number.
It takes awhile before the new number will kick in, but it works. I'm now changing all my personal information on my cc's to my cell phone number. At least I can turn off my cell phone! I can be one day late and I get calls now. I feel badly enough being a couple days late, so don't need to be reminded everyday of it!

I will NEVER answer a call when I don't know who it is. So 503-503-2674 can call all they want and not leave a message and I will NEVER return the call.

This is a Wells Fargo Credit Card Notification alert that should remind you that you are past due on your pmt.

2008-05-22 01:51:44 UTCJason

this sucks, I've already called and thought I was removed from their list. I don't bank with Wells Fargo (and never will due to this) but I get these stupid auto-dialed messages at all times of day asking for someone that isn't me. I'm going to file a class action suit to get back the cost of these minutes on everyone's cell phone. Who's with me!?!?

2008-01-01 16:35:08 UTCSarah

They called and asked me to make a payment.

2007-05-09 13:50:52 UTCJ

I believes its Wellsfargo's collections or something like this because I havent paid my CC bill

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
