This company is hired by COLLECTION AGENCIES to verify the telephone numbers of people who owe money.

Employee says--just listen to brief message! SCREW YOU!! I don't have to listen to anything---I think I'd rather screw with you and waste your time. I will tell you to hold on--then go about my business till you figure out I am not coming back and you hang up. The longer you sit there---the less people you can harrass. How about that??? EMPLOYEE

"Bernett R" called 4:32 on a Thursday afternoon, they were doing a radio survey. I asked for talk radio or music, but the guy on the other end just repeated the question (like he didn't understand). Found out it's for local radio stations, mostly FM dial. Completing the whole thing took about 15 minutes.

When you register your phone on the DNC list, listen to the recording. It does not apply to market research companys or non profit organizations. I work for Bernett research and have for a couple of years. We call you, yes we do. If you don't answer we call back untill we get an answer. Only because we are trying to reach you, and have no way to know if we missed you or you were ignoring the call. We are not the only market research company that does this. there are thousands of them- all legal. If you answer and JUST HANG UP without saying anything you WILL get called back. We have no way of knowing if you hung up or if the call was disconnected somehow. If you DON'T want to do the survey, Listen to the brief intro and tell us you are not interested. We WILL NOT call you back. A lot of the surveys are " Blind ' surveys. Meaning, we do not tell you what it is about, so the survey is not biased in any way. Some of them have a reward, such as the asking above, or even better yet....FREE stuff or CASH! We do not tell you this upfront, because we want your HONEST opinions. We don't want you just to fill in the blanks so you get paid. Your opinion really does count. Market research is a vital part of the U.S. economy. Every company does it to see what their customers want, or what they might be lacking in. If you owned a company, you would have the need to do it too. It is important to get feedback from customers ONLY to provide the best products and services you can. It has been going on for many hundreds of years and will continue for many hundred more. It is one of the most important parts of economy. You probabally like to read consumer reports? Well all that was done through SURVEYS! That is what the information is used for. If you ever read a ratings on a company before you dealt with them, guess what....ANOTHER SURVEY! If you want to reap the information, but not provide any feedback yourself, then just listen to our into to see what it is about and say ' No thanks. ' and we will NOT CALL YOU BACK. But just remember, if you do not like something about a product or a service, you have the power to change it through your opinion. If you do not want to provide your opinion, thats okay too, but don't complain about it later

We are on do not call list.

Caller ID showed BERNETT RSCH, called on a Sunday afternoon but no msg left

She said that she was Bennett Research....I interrupted her and said that this was my cell phone, do not call this number again and I hung up on her. ALL my phones are current with Do Not Call. I understand that in Pennsylvania you have to renew DNC every 6 months. I have a pay as you go phone so it cost ME for that call.
They have been calling the house phone every week which is DNC also. They won't give up.

Did not answer as I was on the phone with a call I could not interrupt. The caller ID showed Portland, OR. I am also on the National Do Not Call Registry.

I am on the do not call registry for home and cell and they still got my cell number and called !

these people call multiple times per day and never leave a message; playing back the message you don't even hear the "click" of a hangup. when you pick up mid-ring it's always dead air.

same as the others...annoying!

Called random times in the LATE in the evening over several days. Never left a message. I finally sent a text asking the caller to identify themselves by leaving a message, or stop calling. They haven't called back since.

I picked up because I have kids in Oregon (503) just want to ask a few questions so I said OK they ask If any kids ages 0-10 resided in the house then 10 to 18 then 18 24 i answered negative to all, they said thank you and good by. If they make it a habit of calling I'll go to there web site and ask to have my # removed

I check my phone once every 2 weeks and they call every day

They have called every day for a week. Sometimes 4 times a night. Never leaves a message.

Numerous calls over several weeks - never left a message.
