I get call from this # 8 times a day no msg to my cell phone

I am so tired of getting these calls, if it was rpm, they called me after I moved and told me I owned for my telephone company which I already paid, I sent them the payment and then they charged me $6.00 more, I called embarq and they are returning the 25.00 to me not the extra money they charged.

I get call from this # 6 times a day no message on my cell phone.

I get calls on my cell phone from this number when I answer it a recording comes on and it says my warranty is going to run on my car, about then I hang up because I know it is a load of crap

They keep calling asking for Nancy Thomas and I tell them this person does not live here. Then they start with a barrage of questions: How do I find her? A: I don't know her. Q: Well she gave us this number, you must know her or be her. A: She doe not live here for the last time!! Next call: How can we reach her? A: I don't know her, she does not live here, trying looking her up in Bummed F***ed Egypt, I don't know. Please stop calling here. There response: Not until we speak to Nancy. My response was click!!!! Now since they continue to call, I have to start screwing with them. I have asked them, do you want me to pretend to be her and make a promise to you that won't be kept!!!??!!! There response was no, we just want paid, if you want us to stop calling then pay the debt. OMFG!!!! Are you kidding me, just pay her debt, a person I don't even know!!!!!!!! CRAZY MFing IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!

Lovely bunch of leeches. They have several phone numbers, all to circumvent caller ID and call blocking methods. They are zombie debt vollectors-- that is, they go after debt that has expired: they can't sue you, and chances are the debt is so old it's off your credit report.

Two things you must NEVER, EVER do: 1) answer the phone (make it a habit not to answer numbers you don't recognize), and 2) NEVER give them even a dime. Sure, you'll get them off your back for a while-- but you'll feel lower than dirt for having done it. Not to mention taking money away from the things you need.

Always remember this: as long as they keep calling, you're winning. See the calls as an admission of defeat on their part.

Also, remember that the people that work for these places are the very bottom of the barrel. A lot of them are ex cons. Some are still on parole. Why give your money to criminals?

they let the phone ring twice... soooo if you aren't fast, you don't even get a chance to answer the phone.. Not sure what they want.. don't really care!! I don't answer unfamiliar numbers.. if you want something mail me!!! I have lived in the same house for 15 years!! I just set their number in my home phone and set their ring as silent!! Yeah for the uniden phone I bought.. the best phone ever!!!! I have to clear the ID to see if they called!!!!!!! Everyone should invest in this phone!!!!!

calls from 8 am to 8 30 pm up to 4 times a day verible times

This number calls multiple times a day, every day. Other numbers also call under the same "RECEIVABLESPERF" ID. Every time I've answered there is only silence.

they call me at least 2 times per day. sometimes they just let the phone ring 2 or 3 times. other times when I answer there is just silence. Caller ID shows the caller as receivables PERF. I've spoken with them several times and they are very unprofessional and just like to argu.

Getting calls from this number 2 - 4 times daily. Rings two or three times. Never a message left. I never answer calls if I don't recognize the number. Now I'm really baffled because according to the other posts, they're in the business of debt collections. I'm not aware of any outstanding debts I have that would give them a reason to call. Oh well...I can let the phone ring just as many time as they can dial it.

Please someone figure out how to stop these calls. Very rude! Mine was from a guy named Daniel. (he said) Keeps calling.Laughed when I told him I was turning them in. He said there was no one out there that could stop them!

They called and asked for someone who does not live here. I responded with, "I'm sorry, but there's no one here by that name." She immediately copped an attitude. I said, "Please take this number of your list." She snapped at me, "Just what do you think I'm doing?" I told her there was no reason for her to be angry with me, and her response to that was "It's just a wrong number!" I couldn't hear the rest of what she said because I lost my temper and told her to f*** off.

Go to ftc.gov and file a complaint.

They dont care what time they call you. I have recieved a call on 10/26/09 #@ 12:30AM....

This number calls me periodically. They ring a few times and then hang up. They ALWAYS call very late. In fact, they just called me at ONE O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING. Never leaves a message. Never make it to the phone in time to answer, either.

i just received a call from this number, "unknown name". I did not answer. FIrst time ive received a call from this number.

Rasheeda, Bob, Joseph, Max, Janet, John, Wade - they call and leave messages. For a while they were calling every hour on the hour, I never answer the phone from numbers I don't recognize. Now they only call 2 times per day and leave a message to call an 877 numnber. Hold your breath folks -it ain't happening. Hopefully they will get the hint and move on.

What a pia this company is - and so rude. I work from home and they call with a message upon answering that their representatives are busy and to hold on. When you get a representative, they are rude, rude, rude. I spoke to Aaron Saulter and his partner in crime today - James. Have requested multiple times to be removed from their call list and today - while on a conference call they called three times in less than 30 minutes and when I made the request again today was asked if I TOOK THE TIME TO ASK in the past or if I just hung up. Did not realize that hanging up was making a request. Anyway - long story short, they have done nothing by way of training their staff to be professional or polite. If anyone can get me more information on this company, I am looking to do whatever I can to stop these harrassing calls.

Ask for the fax number when they call. Once you get the number, fax them a notice that sites the fair debt collection act and no further calls shall be made to your number. They will often hangup because they know why you are asking for the fax number. I think they can call you one more time and that is it. If they call after that it is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act.

they call 4-8 times a day from various numbers.....this number, a 703 area code (703-291-9039) and several others - all of the numbers end in 90xx - never answer, hopefully they will stop

This place has called me for two days and they never leave a message. It is kind of frustrating when this number pops up on my caller id. I don't answer it when they do call but it doesn't ring for that long. I just wish they would quit calling me.

Receivablesperf 2/24/10. I just hung up. I'm sure it was a collector. I get a couple collection calls a day for a Melba Edwards. Even when you tell them you've never heard of her, they still keep calling. This caller is now blocked.

Just Called my daughter's new Cellphone, that was just turned on yesterday, I hope that they don't continue to call...

Read the Wiki on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act en.wikipedia.org if these people violate any of the terms listed there, you've got grounds to file a complaint. These people thrive on taking advantage of people who don't take the time to research the law and let themselves get intimidated into making payments they don't have to make, based on threats that these unscrupulous companies neither have the financial means nor the legal backing to actually carry out. Don't be a doormat to these people.

Or, you could do like me and just don't answer the phone.
