A man answered the phone asking if I wanted to take advantage of some offer to lower my credit card interest rates. I told him I wanted to know who they were trying to reach, and to ask that my number was removed from their database. The man asked me why I cared who they were trying to reach if I wanted my information removed. He then acted as if he were "transferring" me to someone else, but instead, he somehow transferred me to a woman's personal home number, who complained to me that I had been calling her all morning from the same number and she wanted me to stop. I explained to her that I thought it was some scam and that I was also trying to stop these random, similar calls and let her know that I was somehow connected to her. When we began comparing stories and the phone numbers on our caller id's, a random man in the background started making growling noises and began talking incoherently. The other lady hung up, and honestly, I stayed on a few seconds longer to curse his ass out!
