These jerks called and said they were from Capitol One. Capitol One never has a visible number. When I called back they said they were Total Credit Recovery (what the hell does that have to do with Capitol One?) and you can't even talk to a live person!

Woman called my work named Catherine Royds or Roids said she was going to freeze all of my accounts yet would like to give me a courtesy call since i have changed my number just to make a deal! bs- another illegal tactic. do not call them back and leave a call back name if calling from your cell. Put the name to the number and your screwed..
First time I could see the number and I didn't know and care about 'cause the caller asked about somebody else. They've called few more times and I ignored them. They stopped calling but I started to receive calls from an Unknown number. I ignored them few times till yesterday when I answered and they asked, again, about another person. Today I checked my calling history on my provider's website and I could see their number... s|_|ckers!

They called me today and threaten to lock me in jail unless they receive payments. Person on phone said he will recommend to judge a minimum jail term of 90 days without bail. Can these people do this????

They called me yesterday with unknown name, private number so I answered it. I thought it was illegal for them to hide the number when they call people? Anyhow, I told the lady on the phone to send me documentation in the mail because I wasn't clear about what she was talking about. Today she called again without the number hidden. I guess in her mind the mail works instantly. She was from the middle east. Very thick accent. Don't agree to anything over the phone until you see what they want from you on paper. If you agree verbally to a bill that is not yours, you will be expected to pay it.
Google the companion telephone number 201-210-3618. According to those subbmissions this company has called and asked to speak to children by name and inquired about neighbors. Their description of my brother-in-law's case, although scant, seems uncredible.
For the person who doesn't get these kinds of calls because they pay their bills, good for you! I hope you never have catastrophic medical bills or a loss of job of even a change in income due to circumstances beyond your control. Others may not be so lucky. What I can't figure out is why you would visit this site at all.
I don't get calls from these type of places because I pay my bills on time and know how to budget my income.
They called my work number and I guess thought it was someone else, they left no message and called twice. (I saw it on my caller ID)
The person on the phone threatened to take my children from me. WTF??????????????
These people have harassed our home continually, looking for someone who does not live here. I am reporting them to the FCC at fccinfo@fcc.gov and think everyone should do the same. I have asked them to quit calling, but they won't. They make money on recovery of bad debt -whether you are the person or not. They WILL HARASS you and use SCARE tactics.
I have no idea what these assholes are calling me about, but they want me to blindly send money for something that they can't explain as to what it is, or they will keep calling, and "ruin my credit" according to the representative. Obviously a very low reputation collection agency, just wish I knew what they were calling about, or could tell me what the $105.00 they say I owe is for. I am so sick of these arrogant, rude bastards, I may start being as rude as they are back.

Person on the phone (Alex)was very rude and unwilling to arrange any type of payment plan. Not a very good rep. for the company.
They are in Canada and employ mostly indians. They are a very low budget collection agency and will harrass you. Contact the BBB to file a complaint.
