Finally picked up after weeks of calls seven days a week from various phone numbers.
There was a long pause before caller responded, but I asked to be taken off their
list and was assured that as long as it was an ADA number, I would be removed. We will
see if that happens!

I get calls from this number 4 to 8 times a day.

Whoever this is calls from FOUR DIFFERENT NUMBERS, but never leaves a message on our Voicemail.

I answered the phone and no one was there.

Mike asked how many phone numbers does the ADA have.
27 as of today. If you enter ADA in the "Caller ID" block and click on Lookup this site will give you
all of the numbers.

Receiving calls several times a day from ADA. Called the number back and it is the American Diabetes Association, you get a recording. Listen long enough and you can get your phone number taken off their list.

Theses douchebags call 2-3 times a day, as late as 10PM. Various numbers, all show ADA on call ID: 410-202-0108, 301-223-0109, 434-878-9983, 703-291-9032

I filed complaint at National Do Not Call Registry, Everyone, please do the same to get these people stopped. You don't have to give any personal information other than the phone number receiving the calls!

Get calls w/no message from 410-202-0108 ID shows ADA. This time a woman's voice said "you suck" and I hung up. I just found this site and will continue to report to all authorities.

Calling daily, now..though today actually called in the afternoon instead of before 9am. They're calling a business so no one is here. Rings 3 times then hangs up.

I called back the number and it is the American Diabetes Association. If you stay on the line you can have your number deleted from their call list.

I receive calls from ADA every day. The last few days in March 5th,6th,7th,8th & 9th. They ring 3 times then hang up. I used to pick up the phone but do not anymore. I have no idea how long I have been receiving these calls but it has been too long. I am beginning to be very concerned on what they are up to.
ADA's phone numbers are! 434-878-9983 248-218-7182 571-261-0106 410-202-0108 301-223-0109. They usually call around 9:AM but not always.These are the numbers they have used in the last five days.Help Someone.

They call daily for last couple of weeks. Once I answered and asked who was calling etc., but they would not tell me anything unless I conformed my identity to them. They are exempt from the DNC list because they are a "charity" organization. Annoying as it may be, it is best to just call the number back and go through the process of removing your name from their list

Calling every single day, Sunday to Saturday, ranging from 8:xx am to 5:xx pm. Never says who they are, never says why they're calling, always sounds like the same girl. Caller ID only says ADA and this number. Looked online and found this website: adainfo.org. In the website the

Several TIMES a day receiving calls from several of these numbers!!! STOP!! STOP!! STOP!!!

PLEASE.....STOP CALLING ME...I AM DISABLED AND CANNOT BE BOTHERED WITH THESE STUPID CALLS ALL THE TIME.

they call a minimum of 2 times per day- the other # is 240 210 7102-i have reported both numbers. If the phone company does not get involved I will drop their service.

ADA calls us several times each day and this has been going on for weeks. The few times I've answered they hang up immediately. This can't be a legit charity. Finally decided to Google and see what was up.

Received call yesterday, they stumbled on the name but said they were from the Leukemia Society. Seemed like they really have a list of names and choose one to fit. Received another call from Leukemia Society with different number, 866-229-3821. Am bracing myself for more.

Claim to be American Diabetes Association, but I have called the real ADA and they said this is NOT them.

They would constantly call me, then when my machine answers, its just a dial tone! So finally after reading the below comments. Yes, you can call them back(to get a machine answering! LOL) and it lets you remove your phone number from their annoying list. Otherwise, they will just keep calling. Of course the machine says they have 30 days to remove you from the list, but they will "try" to do it sooner and not call anymore. ha!

Received two hangup calls from this number in the last two days. We're on the federal do not call list. I called them back and immediately got a recorded message saying it was the American Diabetes Association and to enter our phone number if we don't want to be called, which I did, and it said it could take 30 days to process.

We started receiving these calls after the beginning of 2010. We were away and received calls from 2 other numbers 703-291-9032 and 301-223-0109. This morning they used this number. I have donated in the past skipped this year to donate to some other organizations. I guess they are trying to thank me for past donations!!! Yeah right. I will call and try to get my number off as well. This is one way to get me to find other charities permanently!

Left no message and no ID - probably yet ANOTHER bill collector looking for my sister. (NEVER let a family member move in or use your address - or you will suffer with these kinds of annoying calls too)

We also have received numerous phones calls from 410/202-0108, 434/878-9983, 571/261-0106 and 703/291-9032 and they are all from the the same group - ADA (American Diabetes Association). I work 3rd shift and the phones calls were getting irritating, so I called the phone number from the ADA website (1-800/DIABETES, or 1/800-342-2383) and complained to their customer service rep. We are also on the state and federal do not call list and I was told that since they are a non profit organization, that they do not have to honor the do not call list. I requested that our phone number be taken off of their records and she also asked for our home address so that we will not get mail from them either. Lets see if that works

Unknown party called at 7:06 p.m. local on Sunday, 9/13/09. Caller ID showed Salisbury MD and the number 410-202-0108. I did not answer the call, and the caller left no message on my answering machine.

Just got a call from this # a little while ago while in the shower....wasn´t happy to be hung up on when I answered dripping wet !!.....I have been approached by the American Diabetes Assoc. before asking me to send out letters to my neighbors asking for Donations....I myself am on dissability, with Fibromialgia, Degenerative Disc Disease and some Chronic Fatigue Syndrom and secondary deppression thrown in to make things just SO much fun for me....not to mention I live alone and have no one to help if I need it.....I REALLY don´t need to be pestered.....like others who have been bothered by this # if I could help or donate I would, but I am having issues just taking care of myself...thanks for reading.

My neighbor bugs the hell out of me to donate to the diabetes association all the time. But I'm a single parent of 3 and have no extra money to give anyone else. Now I'm getting these annoying calls so she probably gave them my number. Why doesn't she just come over here and take the food right out of our mouths. If I HAD money to give away, I would. BUT I DON'T! So please leave us alone. Make you hate the neighbors.

I figured that ADA was the American Diabetes Association. They have called everyday for the last week and never leave a message. I will block their number, but I'm sure they'll use another number to call from! Thanksfully I have a home phone system (panasonic with "babies") that allow me to block any number from my phone.

These idiots call several times a week from several phone numbers. Most of the time they hang up when I answer. Yesterdays hang-up call was from their 2402107102 number. I am tired of their calls. They fail to remove my number from their sucker list. I report every call to esupport.fcc.gov as you should.

How many phone numbers do these parasite scammers have?

For the past week I have had a dozen calls from ADA, and they have used at least a half dozen different phone numbers. The calls begin at 8 am and continue until 9 pm.

This number comes up Salisbury, MD. on my ID caller. I am a diabetic so maybe it is legit but I still don't answer calls that I don't know.

I called the number back. They said it was the American Diabetese Association. They asked if I wanted to be removed from their list and then allowed me to enter my number to do so.

Do note, however, I got a call on 7/26/09 18:17:58 with duration of 17 seconds.

Is this really a coincidence? I get a one-ring call from ADA. Does this have any connection with 434-878-9983?
