If this IS Marriott, I may never stay there again! I hate being harassed for staying somewhere. That said, NEVER stay at the Ocean Beach Club resort in Virginia Beach. I FULLY paid for my room, no discount, yet was harassed non-stop from the moment we arrived to the moment we left - to buy a timeshare. It was the worst behavior ever by any resort I've ever been to. They nearly literally follow your through the resort humping your wallet all the way...
We received 3 calls in one day from this number and want it stopped NOW! This is harassment!
They're telemarketers. But they're even more bold than most. They'll post here pretending to be satisfied customers. On the internet that's called being a sockpuppet. So hat guy who said he was very satisfied isn't necessarily legit.
We've gotten these before no ID
No ID or name an dno message
Call came in after 9pm EST on my cell. Not happy if it is Marriott.
Caller did nor id self or left a message
I got a call from this number about 4 months ago. I picked up because it said Marriott on the caller ID and I like staying at the Marriotts when its an option. It was a guy named Mark and they were offering a 4 night stay in Orlando, at a really good price(marketing their resort, of course). I hate Orlando, been there 50 times asked if they had any ski destinations, he put me on hold came back said that they were promoting Lake Tahoe. I've never been to Lake Tahoe, so I gave it a shot. It was 4 days and 3 nights for the 4 of us for 200 bucks. We also got 2 free lift tickets to the ski resort and it was a lot of fun. As soon as I paid 200, I immediately called American Express to verify that it was Marriott who billed my account and it was. The only hitch was I did have to go to a Marriott Timeshare Pitch, but it wasn't bad at all. The resort was so nice that we may purchase in the future. Hope this helps.
These people (caller ID "Marriott") will call often 2-3 times in a row (within a 10 minute period). I never pick up and they never leave a message. If this were the real Marriott hotels, I assume they would contact me directly via email or postal regarding my Marriott Rewards membership.
Caller ID says Florida...no message
Calls a couple times a week for a couple weeks now.
This call comes from Marriott Vacation Club. Just call Marriott's corporate office 800-936-6824 and beleive me the calls offering the 85% discount will stop. They even made sure my $199 was refunded to my credit card.
Marriott Vacation Club (Timeshare division)
Marriott Vacation Club time share come on.
They call repeatedly and won't acknowledge "Please put me on your DO NOT CALL list". They won't stop calling!
Caller ID says Marriott, but they never leave a message. This is the second time they called in a week.
I keep getting call from this #. Marriot shows up on the ID. I'm glad it is nothing important. Thanks for this forum.
These calls are starting again - Says Marriott but leaves no message! Haven't had them for about eight months.
this number is on my caller id quite often. i never answer.
These douchebags call occasionally but I am never at home. I just see the number on my caller Id. Today, although I am home when they call, they do not respond when I answer the phone.
Called me & when I said this wasnt a good time they said "fine, we'll just give this to another rewards member." Also, could not get vacation time in the western US
it is marriotts timeshare division in orlando...signed up for 4 nights in virgin islands $199 and just have to sit through presentation...this is their call back number to set up the trip
This appears to be Marriott's time share division. They offer you a "free" vacation if you are willing to sit through a time share sales presentation for their property
got a call from them right now and googled it, no message. Who cares?
Keep getting this call - no message on machine.
Calls 2-3 times a day for a week now.
Calls twice per week, 830-9PM. Started Early March 2007. Caller ID says "Florida"
We got a call from a guy at this number today claiming he was with the Mariott and was calling because we won a free vacation. When we said we needed to wait a few days, he hung up. Fishy.
She said she was from Marriot calling me because of a special 80% discount I could get as a result of my Marriot rewards membership. I said I was eating dinner and they should mail the info. The woman asked when it would be convenient for her to call me back. I said I didn't take phone calls of this nature and she should mail the info to me. She thanked me & hung up.
They called once. I spoke with the person who said they're from the Marriott. Then they called back immediately, twice in a row, without leaving a message.
They've called a couple of times and goes to voicemail but they never leave a message. If it were important, they would leave a message.
