They call everyday. I mean, every single day. It rings a fax, so I plug it into fax machine. It connects to fax, but fax recieve fails.
I got a call about debt relief. Had to press 1 to get someone. When I questioned them they hung up on me. Wish I knew who it was cause they'd be gettin a good ole redneck ass whopping!
These cock suckers keep calling reported to the fcc and no one gives a damn
They keep calling me
This number has called and has hung up.. Who is this?
Recorded message about back taxes owed. I filed complaint with National Do Not Call Registry.
Something about reliefe for people owing back taxes
Represented themselves as a "411 verification for Google" Then proceeded to sell me something to help my business page ranking. When I pointed out that he misrepresented himself and was trying to sell me something, not verify anything for Google, he became nasty and said he had "deleted me". What a jerk. SCAM, LIARS.
they called saying that the government had granted a new law to forgive all your debts and it sounded too good to be true, it would not apply to me because i am debt free but i called back to see who it was and the phone is disconnected or it is setup not to receive any calls
This one of many calls from debt relief companies that ALL seem intent on calling my cell (on the National Do Not Call List)
They must be sharing a list.
They come from -
425-484-1802
253-561-7906
301-246-0986
402-982-0779
214-302-9997
701-217-1010
This number came up as Cellular Call and since it's the same thing that comes up when my mom or brother call me, I picked up without looking carefully at the number. It said "Congratulations! Your family has been selected to receive a free home security system" and I immediately hung up. I'm pretty sure it's a scam anyway, but they should check where the people they call live first. I live in a trailer park and everyone out here is pretty poor. Therefore, no one needs a security system. I know we certainly don't. Nothing here worth taking.
Scam must be bringing in good money to be able to constantly use different cell phones. The phone bills have to be astronomical.
This is just another demonstration of how useless the Do Not Call list is. The idea is great, but it's so watered down that any telemarketer can easily figure a way around it. Charitable organiation? You're exempt. Pollster? You're exempt. Bill collector? You're exempt. You did/do business with the person? You're exempt. Political organization? You're exempt.
Do Not Call SHOULD mean Do Not Call, PERIOD: no exceptions.
Bill collectors should especially have to follow the Do Not Call Rules: they're just telemarketers that can legally practice extortion.
THey called, and hung up. Name was listed as "Insider NEws" 7-19-2010
WHenever you get these calls from these people, being that they called YOUR phone, you say something like "hey, hold on the business owner/decision maker just walked in. His name is Bob. Hold on I'll put you through." - and then stick the phone in the drawer and forget about it.
Either that or play along with them, or pretend to listen, answering all of their questions, going through with their 8 minute sales pitch. THen, at the last minute right before they want you to buy something, or commit to something, pretend you are having a heart attack, or yell something like "Bob, I just found out you are sleeping with my wife, and then put the phone down and go out of the room."
It's time to turn the tables on phone solicitors. That industry needs to die.
Good ole' Montana, calling me in Brooklyn. Gosh, I hope they've got something they want to sell me, cause the cash is burning a hole in my pocket.
I answered the call and no one responded???
I LIVE IN SPRINGFIELD OR AND HAD THE SAME EXPIERENCE AS STATED ABOVE
Caller id says Insider News. I answered on the first ring and there was no one there, then busy signal.
Automated caller offering to remove debt. Gives options to press for a rep, or to be removed... removing doesn't work.
This number is SPAM and a SCAM.
