John: Clever digging you did there on First Financial Asset, AKA National Financial Systems. Their record speaks of horrid abusive tactics and ignorance of the law. I would guess a verbal request will be ignored. A brief and polite C&D letter must be obeyed per FDCPA. Send USPS Certified as cheap insurance against a lawsuit.

This is indeed First Financial Asset Management. They called my number looking for a person unknown to me. Returned calls were routed to extension 1406, which promptly disconnects. Since they do not take calls at 1406, I started calling proximal extensions, beginning with 1400, 1401, 1402, etc. At 1405 I reached "Andrew", who answered & got a major earful. He says he took my number out of the system. We shall see. But since a failed extension rotates you back to the opening spiel, I recommend this method. Eventually you reach a human being. Someone else suggested a "cease and desist" letter to the company. I intend to follow up with one.

I got my daily call from them, they either hang up or ask for someone not me.

Looking for Erica again

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
