Get called once or twice a day - also get calls from 366-522-8999. Have no debts anywhere - but still get these annoying calls.

Got a call on my facsimile line from this number at 17:52 UTC.

I don't have any accounts with Citigroup.

we have been getting this call for the last week or 2. When I ask who is this calling, they respond rudely as 'I will tell you who this is when I know whom I am speaking with.' I didn't budge. I asked to be removed from their database and hung up. An hour later they called back. How can this be stopped?

Citigroup called looking for William Smith.

phoned number back. said they were sears. said i did not have an account. he looked up phone number (my cell which was call) and he said it was not in system. Therefore he said although it is annoying he cannot make the cals stop if he doesnt show they called.

I've been called 4 times a day the last 3 days... They're looking for someone named Scott... Take "DO"'s advice below from the 8999 #... I called Sears and sure enough, they flagged the number as bad and blah blah blah... called on cell phone when I called back (i was waiting for on important call wasn't for sure if this was the call I was waiting for) party wanted my cell phone number did not give it to party, he kept asking for number he wouldn't indentify himself I told him to take my number off of list and he said it was an auto dialer told him to go to he## and hung up

Sears Great Indoors Card Collections

Sears credit card company (Citigroup, Citicards, Citicorp, all one and the same) collection department. Call from 7am-9pm manyyyyy times daily. I have all the CC companies and the different #'s they call from saved to my phone and save the ringtone as silent. That way I can actually look for work as they already know my situation and my layoff and not be disturbed!!!

They call us 6-7 times a day. We have politely asked them to stop. It is getting to the point of harassment. Please make them stop.

They called but left no message. My Sears card was cancelled quite some time ago..

Citibank/Sears - call several times a day and leave no message. I refuse to pay a late fees, my payment was late by 1 day because father died. I wrote a letter explaining and they refuse to stop harrassing me!

i just a got a new phone on friday 1/30/09 and not even 5 minuets after i got my new phone and got it turned on i got a call from this number. i called on saturday 1/31/09 since they called me around 7-8 in the morning and when i answered they didn't respond on the other end. i called number back since i couldn't sleep, the man i spoke to left no name but said he removed my number out of the computer. i don't believe it now because i got a phone call from them again tonight around 7:51, i called back around 7:55 and the voice message i got said they close at 8pm on sat and sun so i have to ask, why couldn't they answer their phone 5 til closing?
bout to take them to court if this continues.

I was getting calls from this number 3-5 times a day. I had to have my phone turned off for about a month. When I had it turned back on, guess what was the first number to call me. You would think that after getting a "This number is no longer in service." message they would quit calling.

I get calls from them every day, even weekends, multiple times a day. i tell them to stop calling, i swear they call more now. my account with them has been closed for who knows how long, they really need to stop

I also got a call on the same day from 336-522-8998. Both had nothing on the caller ID and nothing on the voice mail

When I called 336-522-8998. The person on the phone said she as from Sears Citibank accounts but could not give a reason why they called and stated that Citibank phones leave 336-522-8998 on the caller ID but that doesn't mean that this is the number the user is calling from. And stated that this is a problem Citibank is trying to solve.

When I called 336-522-8999. There was no answer.

told her you have the wrong number she accused me of lying, then she hung up her name was martani or something like i could not understand her from Ebonics or linguistic skills

When i called the number back they said it is about my sears account, but I dont have a sears account that is active. They said that they must have misdialed, but this has got to be a scam of some kind.

I receive several calls a day. I have no accounts with Citigroup, yet they continually call- several times a day. They call iin the morning, afternoon and eveneing. It' becoming very annoying. Hey Citigroup, I am not going to answer your call.

These people call us constantly. It's very annoying. We've gotten to the point where we don't even have our ringer on anymore because they call so much.

everyday from 8am cst to 10pm cst including weekends usually anywhere from 5 min apart to 30 mins apart have tried to call back and get put on hold automatically.tired of them blowing my cell phone up w/no message left. i won't answer if i don't recognize number but May/Maybe not return a call if msg is left

Calls repeatedly and then hangs up. This is illegal. Please complain to the Do Not Call registry if they are harassing you.

Calls everyday 6-10 times a day even as early as 8 am on Sunday mornings. Sometimes leaves message. The message will either be for PayPal, Wal-Mart, Sears or Belk card. If I do answer an automated message asks me to "Please hold." I then hang up because it is to my cell phone.

Called twice in under 3 hours. I let the call go to my ans machine but they left no message. Caller ID says Citigroup. I've never had any dealings with Citibank nor do I have any past-due credit accounts. I used to have a credit card with Sears but haven't used it since the 1980's, so I doubt it's active anymore. It's either a telemarketer or a wrong number.

this number rings if you call it and when I called the person who answered said thanks you for calling may i please have your sears account number. I explained that I was not a cardholder. He then asked for my phone number and then said the call was for Raymundo Chaves. I told him that there was no person here by that name and he very politely told me that my number wuold be removed from the list.

Call 7 - 10 times a day with no message.

I get have recently started getting calls from this number for the past few days now. They have never left a message and have called as late as 11pm. I do not have any business with citibank nor have i had any business with sears in over 5 years.

Also, do not have a Citibank account. They call every couple hours from 8:00 am till 9:00 pm. I am also thinking of filing a harrassment suit. They NEVER leave a message. Sometimes I pick up the receiver and just set the phone down to frustrate them. Otherwise, I just never answer, but it is annoying.

This number is Citigroup and is associated with Sears Credit. No, they do not leave a message. I called them this morning and they insisted that I had a Sears account. When I told them I did not have a Sears account and furthermore did not want one, 'Alfred' said that 'he begged to differ with me'. I asked him to send me a letter telling me what my account number was and he hung up on me. I could say a few choice words about how rude he was to me. I'm going to file a formal complaint and even sue the company if they call me again.

they called all day - saw it on my i.d. - no messages. Then they got me on the phone at night. They wanted my Sears Account Number. I didn't give it. Then they asked for my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. I wouldn't give that either. She kept saying "we are citibank" and I did not believe it. She said it was about my Sears account and that it was past due. But I know that my purchase at Sears was made on deferred payment and that nothing is due for a few months yet. She said that a payment had been due on 9/6 (a few weeks ago) but I think it is not true. So they know if you shopped at Sears and spent a lot of money there, and what they WANT is your Sears Account Number -- who knows what info. that might let them into!! -- and they also try to get your Social Sec #. DON'T GIVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been getting calls from this number on my cell phone 3-5 times a day for the past few days. I've never had any kind of account with Citigroup; I live nowhere near N. Carolina. Something is up with this number.

They have called today 2 times, at 8:43 am and 1:56 pm, do not leave a message. Caller ID says "Citigroup."

Several calls a day from this number beginning early AM till 9pm. No messages left on machine. If it is CitiBank I have no cards fromthem.

Calls from this # from 8am on up to 10X'day. Answered once Ask for Mr. or Mrs. Had our name correct. When told we were at work. ASKED for work phone number! Never leaves messages on machine! Strange.

Calls from this number EVERYDAY beginning early AM till 10pm. No messages left on machine.

This number calls every day on my cell phone, including on weekends. It appears that it is from CitiBank, but I don't have a CitiBank card. They never leave a message.

I get this every day on my cell phone. They never leave a voicemail, so I figure it's not important.

Person keeps calling and sometimes hang up after call is answered. Finally answered ... tried to guess or seemed unsure of my first and last names. Identified himself as Frank but stated no company. Caller hung up shortly thereafter.

Janelle called and asked for my husband. She didn't say who she was or why she was calling. I kept asking her for more information and she hung up on me.

1/18/2007 18:29 the caller id reads NORTH CAROLINA. they asked for my Sears card number. I mentioned that I did not have an account with them. Gave them my phone number that I have had for over 1 year. They were looking for someone else. The rep Mike said he will take care of it.....We will see

This is one of several numbers (520-662-8998, 520-662-8999, 520-664-9698, 336-522-8998, 336-522-8999) I have received calls from Citicard as a result of a billing dispute. I have downloaded a program from Traysoft called Phone Tray Free which uses my computer modem to automatically hang up on these harassing calls after one ring. If you have a voice modem you call also have it play one of several messages available. The one I use emulates a disconnected phone. The program also logs date, time, and calling number of all calls. I offer this to allow others to fight back to these harassment practices. I also report each call to the do not call site.

Call from CitiCard. I got calls several months ago that finally stopped. They called almost every day, never left a message. Got this call again recently and this time they left a message. Message was an automated computer voice explaining that it was from CitiCard, calling regarding my Sears Home Improvement credit account, and to call them back at 800-733-1116. I'm happy to call back if they leave a message like that.
