These douchebags just keep on calling. For some people they're "deputy sherriffs" and others they're "professional fire fighters" For everybody they're professional scumbags and scammers.
These duchbags keep calling. They represented themselves as the deputy sheriff's association. Why don't deputy sheriffs have any respect for the law? The original call left no message only the background sound of a boiler room operation.
These jerks may or not be legal, BUT when they collect, or say they are collecting for the sheriff donation program, they KEEP 80 % what's collected. If you want to give, go down to the Sheriff's or Law Enforcement Center, wherever you are and give. NEVER NEVER NEVER give over the phone. ESPECIALLY your credit card numbers.
A callback to the number got a recorded message that identified it as Pennsylvania Professional Firefighters. I live in St. Louis, Mo, why would Pennsylvania Professional Firefighters be calling me for donations? Especially from a St. Louis area code.
